Jason really thought about it.
Once he told him what was on his mind, Jason was speechless.
Kennedy spoke again, -I just want to get my memory back, not kill myself.
With that, he began to reach up and unbutton his coat, one by one.
This pool was very large and dangerous. Jason looked around and suddenly said, -Let’s get some more people to keep an eye on you, otherwise, I’m afraid, if something happens to you, I won’t be able to save you by myself.
Kennedy paused and said yes.
So Jason quickly turned around and went to call someone, taking the moment to do so he pulled out his phone to take an extra look and realized that Nathan hadn’t answered a single message.
“Fuck, what’s wrong with this fucker, does he care so little about his boss, I’ve sent him the location and he hasn’t noticed?” Jason thought.
Soon, however, Jason realized that something was different.
Because he saw on the map that Nathan’s little green dot was so close to him that it almost overlapped, making him almost miss it.
Jason was so excited to see it that he almost screamed.
He did not expect Nathan to make it, so his efforts were not in vain.
Just in case, Jason didn’t turn off the current location, but put his phone back in his pocket and returned.
Kennedy stood there, and seeing the man return, asked in a cold voice, -Can we get started?
-Just a moment. -after seeing that Nathan was heading this way, so Jason decided to buy a little more time before coming over, maybe today would be different.
-Hey? -Kennedy raised an eyebrow at him, “What else?
-I’ve been thinking hard about this condition of yours. It’s not like there’s nothing you can do to treat it. You don’t have to be this extreme route. Besides, as far as experience goes, there are very few people who treat memory loss like you do, so I’ve just come up with a good solution.
-What solution? -Kennedy asked coldly.
-There is definitely a solution, but it requires a plan, so I don’t think we need to rush today. Come back with me first, I’ll write the plan and we’ll start tomorrow if you’re happy with it.
Kennedy didn’t move and Jason looked at him with some disbelief, -What do you think?
-Haha.
Kennedy laughed and said, -Is that a useful thing to say? It’s too late now.
-You found me out? Well, I tried to keep you out of the water today, you’ve already taken a lot of mental hits this week. If anything happens to you in the water today, I honestly can’t afford it.
Having said that, he added, -But I just came up with a solution that a lot of people can be cured with. If you don’t believe me, you can come back with me and I’ll tell you about it slowly.
Jason knew it was impossible for me to walk him back, he was just deliberately buying time.
Kennedy knew what he wanted to do and didn’t bother him anymore, walking slowly with firm steps towards the pool.
-Kennedy, don’t be impulsive. Listen to what I just said. I’m saying there’s a solution. It’s real. Stop quickly.
Just then, a soft female voice rang out abruptly.
-Is it funny?
The sudden appearance of this female voice was a divine light to Jason. As he looked toward the source of the voice, he saw a woman appear.
And behind the woman were several other people, one of whom was Nathan.
They had obviously been rushing and their breaths were a little shaky.
Great!
Luckily, she had said something, otherwise Kennedy would already be in the water.
At the sound of Alice’s voice, Kennedy felt something hit him hard in the heart. And after a moment she frowned fiercely and gave Jason a hard stare.
This was a place he had found at random, so Nathan could not have known beforehand.
Then the only person following him was Jason.
The one who gave them the news was definitely Jason.
Jason saw the look on his face and had to pull out his phone.
-I sent Nathan the current location when I got in the car, but it’s not easy to find you. They’re just smart enough and fast enough.
Alas, it was so hard being a man.
The intentions were good, but now Kennedy looked like he was going to kill him, so he was afraid.
-I’m asking you. -the female voice from before sounded again, and almost instantly Jason felt half the hostility and anger disappear from Kennedy.
Tsk.
“Was this the power of love?” Jason thought, then looked carefully at Alice.
As far as he knew, Kennedy’s mother had died long ago, and he had never felt much affection for those in the Moore family, much less resentment toward them.
So for the sake of his family recovering her memory would be impossible.
The only possibility was for this woman.
I never thought that his friend, who was so cold at the time, would have a moment when he would die for a woman.
She was prettier than he expected and, above all, she had a pure temperament.
Was this the type his friend liked?
She seemed to be quite beautiful, but the tone of her voice right now didn’t seem soft at all, but rather fierce.
It sounded like his friend would suffer something.
Indeed, Kennedy didn’t dare look at Alice’s face again, let alone look her in the eyes.
There was a sudden silence in the room. There were many people, but it was so quiet that not even the sound of breathing could be heard.
Kennedy did not answer Alice’s question, who stood in her place. But when he did not answer, Alice took a step toward him.
The crowd watched the scene with bated breath, feeling the air around them freeze.
This place was now even colder.
As soon as she had almost reached Kennedy, Alice stopped and looked down at the water, -Are you afraid to say it or don’t you care to say it?
Those last words made Kennedy frown. He turned slowly to meet Alice’s eyes.
Jason coughed softly at that moment, -Why don’t we go outside?
With that he headed straight for the door, and the others, not wanting to stay here any longer because of embarrassment, followed him.
When they reached the door, a cold breeze blew. Yanis unconsciously put his arms around himself, and Nathan, who was standing next to him, saw him and asked, -Are you cold?
After asking, he took off his jacket and put it on Yanis’ body.
-You just got a fever, so it is important to keep warm so that you don’t have a relapse.
Zain raised his head, out of the corner of his eye looking at the jacket Yanis was wearing.
