“I… I’m busy tomorrow.” Santino muttered, looking here and there.
Caroline put him down on the floor and signaled him to go toward Santino. Artin walked toward Santino.
“You will or not?” Artin asked again, glaring at him, holding his thighs.
“I have a lot of work tomorrow, pup,” Santino replied, glaring him back. All of a sudden, Artin pinched at his thigh as hard as he could. Santino hissed in pain because he was wearing a loose t-shirt and a boxer. Artin had pinched at his naked skin with his growing nails.
“I WANT SW.. SWEETS.” Artin demanded.
“No.” Santino denied it and hissed in pain again when Artin started digging his nails into his bare skin. “Fine. Fine. I will get sweets for you if you will say sorry.”
“Sorry.” Artin grinned happily.
‘Our pup is a little bit like us. He gets what he wants.’
‘No. He is not like us. He gets what his parents allow him. That witch knows what is right for him and what is not.’
“Come on, sweetheart!! Bedtime. Say good night to everyone.” Caroline said, carrying him in his arms.
“Bye, everyone,” Artin said, flapping his hand. “Good night.” Everyone at the table wished him good night in return except Santino. “You…. good night,” Artin yelled at him.
“Good night, Artin.” Santino finally said while his wolf was laughing at him in his mind. Who could have thought that a toddler could force him to do the things that he didn’t want to? Not just his wolf but even others were controlling their laughter; after all, no one wanted to die by their Alpha.

Once Artin slept peacefully, Artemis and Caroline enjoyed their time together in their wolf form, running together, playing together, and spending their time under the sky, looking at the stars. They were peacefully lying on the grass, thinking that now no more tension and problem was going to occur in their life. Little did they know that the problem was just a step behind their life.
A day later!!
Once Caroline left with Artin, Artemis returned back to the car and sat on the driving seat to get the return back to his office, immediately Bolt sensed someone’s presence in the backseat, and he quickly turned around and found someone whom he hadn’t seen face to face in the last ten years.
“Hello, Emis!!” She said with a sly smile on which Artemis growled at her.
“Seems like Bolt is pissed…. And even you’re not happy.” She said with a knowing smile on her lips.
“What are you doing here, Isabella Lewis?” Artemis asked, controlling his anger.
“My full name? Nevermind. Isn’t it obvious, Emis?” Isabella asked, but when she didn’t receive any response from Artemis, she continued on her own, “I want to return to your life, Emis.”
Artemis chuckled and started the engine, knowing very why this witch wanted to return to his life!
“You very know that I have moved on in my life, don’t you?” Artemis asked, looking at her through the rearview mirror. “Also, the fact that now I’m the CEO of the company.”
“No. It’s not that I…”
“Shut up, witch. Do you really think that I’m going to get tricked by you again?” Artemis growled at her.
“Ouch! You can’t say me ‘WITCH’ just like that. It hurts. I haven’t observed you calling Caroline the same, even though she is also a witch.” Isabella pointed out. Artemis didn’t answer her anything and wondered since when she was keeping her eyes on them.
He knew witches had the power to separate their souls from their physical bodies, and in that way, he couldn’t sense her presence but… but how was it possible that Sarah didn’t sense the same?
‘Maybe there can be a chance that she wasn’t around Sarah and you in the presence of Sarah?’ Bolt suggested.
“I must say that your mate is such a fool and an idiot,” Isabella commented. Bolt wanted to come back at the same time, but Artemis stopped him because they both knew how everyone miserably failed in front of her for underestimating her.
Artemis parked his car in front of the car and gave the key to his driver to park it, and walked into the building. The moment he stepped into his cabin, he found Isabella sitting on his chair again. “Our conversation remained incomplete, Emis. It will be better if you will reject that mate of yours and marry me, OR I will make it happen.”
“I will see that happening,” Artemis said. “Now, leave. I have a lot of work.” He added.
“I have reason to abort our pup, Emis,” Isabella said, on which he clenched his jaw. “It was not that I wasn’t ready to be a mother at that time, but I had a deal with the devil to offer my first unborn to him to get my witch’s power back.”
“Have you forgotten that how I left my coven for you because everyone was against our relationship?” She questioned. “And by doing this, I lost my powers… my powers which I thought I didn’t need, but I couldn’t stay like mere humans. So, I deal with Devil make me witch on contract basis on which I had to everything that he wanted.”
“I was Cradle Witch [A “Cradle witch” is any person who has obtained their magic from biological development.] but I left my everything for you. And now, I’m just a Contract Witch [A “Contract witch” is any person who has obtained their magic from the Devil.] because of whom? For you.” Isabella pointed out.
