“Not yet, but maybe their parents just didn’t allow them to come here.” When he explained, I just sat on the chair and started putting egg fried rice on the plate.
“Ah…” I nodded. they are sulking, I hope their parents will allow them to come here.

I heard my phone vibrate inside my pocket so I checked it. i thought it was Samantha or Michaela but i suddenly remembered, only lucas number is here. I sigh and tap the green button before leaving the dining room.
“[Hey, Sweetheart]” he greeted. I moved away from the dining room so that mom wouldn’t hear our conversation, she would also wonder where I got the phone I was holding because she hadn’t bought me a new one yet.
“Hello?” I answered questioningly. He just left earlier, so what does he have to tell me? He should have said it earlier while he was still here. Because I’m eating.

“[Oh, sorry. i just want to ask you if you’re not busy, can we go out tonight?]” he asked me so I raised my eyebrows. He can enter the house without anyone knowing so why do we have to go out tonight? It’s okay here just stay at home, no one will know. just the two of us.
“Eh? Im not busy but, why do we need to go out?” I asked too.
“[Its important to us. Please, sweatheart? Just this one and im not going to bug you tomorrow]” he replied. Tomorrow? Only tomorrow? Can’t it be forever? and what does ‘its important to us’ mean?
“Fine, whatever. I’m going to run away tonight, is that fun? Just pick me up at the other corner okay? Don’t come here at home, text me what time—-” what I was about to say to the teacher was cut off by words mom
“Summer, there is a call for you” he said so I turned off the teacher’s call first and went to the living room to find out who it was. It’s a home phone so I don’t know who’s calling.
“Hello, who are they?” I will ask. I heard someone breathing deeply on the other line so I wondered. Who is this?
“Hello? I’ll put it down if you don’t answer”
“[Summer, Samantha! What’s wrong with her?! What connection do you have with Mr. Dane Summer?!]” she asked loudly so I found out that Michaela was the person on the other line.
“[Answer me! What’s wrong with you?!]”

“[I heard Samantha talking to someone earlier when I followed her, Mr. Dane was in front of her. Then I heard your name. They were talking about you. Just calm okay?” when I tried to calm him down but it didn’t seem to work. I heard his soft sobs, he was crying and I knew he was scared.
“[She is h-here… I’m scared, Summer. what shall I do? I got stabbed in the side, he scared me earlier and then he hit me in the side. The pain… I can’t take it anymore, The amount of blood. summer….]” the person on the other line went silent, and I think Samantha was close to him because I could hear faint footsteps. I’m scared for Michaela, why is this happening to her? What the hell? have?
“[S-summer? he’s in front of me]” she said weakly. I couldn’t record because I only had a phone. I couldn’t speak, Samantha might hear me.
“[Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Summer! Summer! Help me! Samantha! Please! Ah…]” silence. My tears started to fall and I sobbed. How? Why? What? How did it happen to Michaela? Why is this happening? What reason?
“M-michaela? H-hey, A-answer me…. Michaela!” I feel angry and sad.
“[Aww, you really called Summer? no worries, she is the next for friendship goals]” I heard said on the other line and it’s depressing that she herself would commit this kind of crime.
