We were out of the auditorium. Still we were enveloped by ghost silence around us, we kept on walking silently. I was still fighting whether to bury him with questions or not. I didn’t want him to run away, because he simply vanishes in the dark, if I ask any question to him.
I was still busy dealing with my reverie, suddenly he broke the silence enveloping us,” Are you hungry?”.
Suddenly my subconscious came alive and said,”Wait, seriously, did he really asked this, go on show him, give him a hard time”.
I immediately shut my brain and said,” Are you asking me out…. or…. you are really hungry?”.
I winked at him to see whether he also has the same effect which I have. The expression was worth it. He was biting his lips nervously and it was easy to see shyness creeping over his strong figure.
I chuckled and replied,” Oh … Goshhh… you are so cute, such a cutie pie. All the chances of me giving you hard time is gone, you are too cute.”.
I was still smiling, we kept on walking. I kept on staring down, god knows why am I blushing? When I looked on my side where he was walking, he was no where, I yelled out,” uuuuuhhhhgggg, I hate you for this”.
Before I could curse any further he grabbed me from behind and said,” Few minutes earlier, I was cute now you hate me, what is it with you?”.
His warm breathe was slowly brushing my cheeks, he turned me slowly and said,” Listen lady, I am asking you out, will you… come, as you stay in hostel, you won’t be allowed late”.
I saw a very mischievous smile crept on his face. I said as nonchalantly as possible, because if he smirked again then I will be caught in his spell, wait am I already? No…..
“I can’t risk my admission by staying late with a stranger, nor I want to miss the prom, so…
If you want me to go out with you, then… we can go to cafeteria “.
He nodded in agreement and released me from his fine grip. We finally reached towards the cafeteria. As it was a event today, it was empty.
We first sat at my favorite booth, he was simply staring at me. I couldn’t help this time but ask,” Why do you choose this booth?”.
Then I suddenly realized my stupidity, It’s like I am asking a stalker , how to stalk. He opened his mouth to say something, but I replied instead,” oops I am asking a stalker here!”.
I didn’t felt anything wrong in saying this, but I could only see his eyes getting embarrassed. I decided to shut my mouth and wait for him to spill his own truth. He suddenly got up and went inside, I was wishing that he should not leave me unanswered this time. After few minutes he was back with a tray.
I immediately stood up and he said,” Remember first date??”.
To my foolishness I said,” let’s dutch “. I could see a visible frown on his lips, I smiled and said,” Please” with a puppy face.
He sighed heavily and said, “Deserts from you”.
I said,”Done, sexy”. Wait did I just said that aloud.
Before he could react, I sat on my chair quickly and stared down on my lap. He chuckled softly and sat beside me instead of sitting opposite to me.
Oh my god, his aura is so intimidating yet so comfortable. I still had many questions in my mind yet to be answered. But instead I decided to eat. When I noticed the plate, believe me, he knew exactly what I like, yeah he is one of the best stalker or you can say the only stalker I have seen. I smiled and looked at him.
He said,” What, look, I know you can kill me with your questions and I know what you like “.
I can’t help but blush knowing he can read my mind.
He was being a gentleman today, he served me and slowly we started eating. Oh.. gosh…. he looks so sexy while biting those noodles. Please help me, I can’t eat anymore, I can’t concentrate. Before I can go any further, I heard a soft chuckle,” eat lady… how would I eat if you will keep ogling me”.
I laughed on my desperatness and started eating slowly.
Suddenly he asked a question,” Do you like Avi?”.
An alarm bell rang in my mind, nope I know him very well, he can kill him, don’t answer him..
I said,” No”.
He might have seen my face go pale, he answered as if he was not worried, ” okay, chill”.
“Why do you want to know?” I crossed question him, but his glare was enough to answer that.
He said in a calm tone, ” I have seen the way he looks at you, don’t worry I am harmless, I trust you “.
“What if I said, yes?”.
He chuckled and said,” look at you, you are so irritated around him, you easily avoid him as if he is no one. If it was true then I would leave you and never tease you again”.
I said,” relax then.” We started eating silently.
I suddenly prompted,” will you leave me so easily? I thought you were , you know, a sweet but psyco “.
He chuckled softly and answered,” Darling, I won’t leave you so easily, but if you are happy then.. maybe “.
I couldn’t help but I got up and kissed his cheek. You can say he was shocked would be an understatement.
We completed our food silently.
I suddenly chimed ,”Desert on me”.
He was staring at me as if seeing a clown, his eyes were full of amusement. I asked “what?”.
He nodded nothing. I turned to move towards the desert counter, but the thought of him vanishing came.
I immediately turned and said,” don’t you dare vanish away”.
He chuckled and said,” tie me with you then”.
I heaved a sigh then and I remembered it’s better. I removed his handkerchief from his back pocket, took his right wrist and tied with my left wrist.
After tying I said,” Perfect”.
He started laughing like a gorilla. He said,” oh my, my lady are you that serious, that you believe that I will run?”.
I nodded and moved towards the desert section. I chose a chocolate muffin and he chose vanilla ice cream. We were eating calmly. Suddenly a voice startled us, it was the old janitor of the cafe.
He said,” Finally, you got someone girl, boy don’t tease her, she is kind”. By saying this he went to his work. He left us both blushing.
After we finished everything, he said, ” Will you release me now? “.
I said ,” You are stuck with me, Mr. mystery”.
We still had desirable distance. He pulled my wrist which was tied to him and bamm!!!
I hit him hard, before I could balance myself away from me, he caught me tightly and whispered slowly in ears. His whisper was sending tingles all over my body.
He whispered, ” you are stuck with me, too”. I was still staring down, I could feel his eyes on me.
He slowly tilted my chin upwards and kissed me slowly. It was unbreakable. It was really different today, it was slow, smooth yet urgent.
Finally he separated and said breathlessly, ” yes! Desert on you” and smiled.
