The next morning was calm and soothing. I got up and did my morning routine. I decided to wear something simple. I grabbed a red mid waist top with yellow bell bottomed pants. Gosh, what am I gonna do with my waist, I am just loosing inches so easily. It’s better to wear a belt, after getting ready I decided to get something to eat. I quickly took a bowl of muesli and milk. Soon I was ready to go, then suddenly my subconcious came alive,’ You remember he said, you are going on right path… he is finally close, just try once again’. I was happy, that my guess was right, but the question is who is he?? I got out of the room and left for the campus. I was still finding it difficult to find him. Then suddenly his words came to my mind,’ I like you calling me mr. Mystery’. I started grinning unknowingly like an idiot. Suddenly thoughts of last night in that powder room came in my mind. Gosh, he is just phenomenal when it comes to foreplay. His possessive nature is really adorable, I don’t know why? but yesterday there was something in his kisses as if trying to resist me and own me at the same time.
Gosh, it was magical, I could still feel his lips on me, it was crazy. I was just trying to recover from the memories of last night and suddenly I bumped into something hard. It hurted slightly, when I peeked to see what it is, I was still rubbing my forehead, it was Jacob. I immediately pulled myself at a safe distance and tried to apologize, but words were lost somewhere.
I somehow managed to blurt,’sorry’ and rushed quickly inside the classroom. I reached my desk and heaved a sigh of relief, I waved a quick ‘hi’ at all the people around me, including Rony, Avi and those pretty pair of girls who accompanied me to my destination last night, etc. I noticed Riya was sitting far to the opposite corner of me, maybe she is still angry with me, as she changed the place the desk behind me was vacant. After few seconds later, Jacob came rushing inside and angled towards my direction, his stare was enough to vanish all the lustre from my face. He started to walk in my direction and I don’t know for what reason,
I felt the color of my face draining. This was the first time, somebody scared me so badly, maybe second time. This time when I peeked up, he was grinning. I ignored it, I wondered how he is the culprit, I just feel so nauseated around him, but I am just so fierce and confident around Mr. Mystery. The roll call broke my riverie, soon the lecture started. I didn’t noticed that he was just sitting behind me. I ignored everything and concentrated hard enough on my lecture. Finally I was succeeded.
The next lecture was a free lecture due to some technical event. I was the first to loathe this free period, it will again give my brain to wander on useless things. The entire class was empty soon, I was left alone, so I decided to get lost with some calculas and trigonometry. Soon, I was free from all the worries and busy with none other than calculas. Time flied quickly and it was lunch time.
I remembered, that I need to clear every misunderstanding today itself. So, I called Mia and asked her to bring Riya to the canteen at my booth. Then I called Rony and asked him to meet me at canteen.
When I reached canteen, I already found Mia and Riya sitting at my favorite booth, I went and sat beside Riya. She didn’t uttered a word and ignored my presence. I could sense her trauma very badly, suddenly I felt a pat on my shoulder,
I turned to see that it was Rony, he smirked and said,” You wanna talk?”. I nodded and suddenly Riya stood and decided to move away. But I dragged her back and made her sit,
I eyed Rony to sit and he did. I stood and so did Mia, before leaving, I said,” enjoy you two”.
I was relieved. Mia accompanied me to another table and I had lunch with her. I was actually, full today with stomach as well as mouth. Soon, it was time for the next lecture, so I went towards the classroom. Today my phone was not buzzing, so I decided to check it. To my surprise I left it at the dorm. I was just self loathing, then I heard a very familiar voice. It was Riya, she was sprinting towards me. I wondered what went wrong with heaven today, she came and hugged me tightly.
She murmurred breatheless from her sprints,” Hey! I was searching you, today will you be joining the dance workshop, please accompany me”. I smiled knowing that everything was back to normal now.
She let out an irritating sigh by seeing my expression and said,” I -I am sorry, I was sooo wrong, please forgive me… I know, I..”
Before she could complete it, I hugged her and said,” I know it’s okay, forget it please”.
She smiled. We went together inside the classroom, to our surprise Rony was already there. He was having a 440 volt smile, infectious enough. I returned the same and sat on the desk.
Soon, the day passed by in peace. I went to the dorm to change in my dance attire. I saw my phone lying on the desk, I hugged it , kissed it and muttered,” Missed you badly”. I hurriedly, rushed outside and saw Riya waiting. We went together to the workshop. I was happy, she was normal.
The heaven was to merciful at me today, because today Jacob was also there in Salsa class. I decided not to affect my composure and there’s no need to find anyone as of now. I felt pleased by my thought, but the world cannot run by my thought, instead it could do by Mrs. Meena’s thought. She was our instructor. She instructed that today’s workshop will be performed in pairs. I immediately, slapped my forehead after hearing it and brought it back before anyone could see my vulnerability. She made pairs. To the lucky me, I was paired with Jacob. I stood beside him carefully maintaining a distance and decided to stare any where but not at him till the dance starts. I was worried about his feet, though I have been learning this from years, but whom am I joking too…
I know how clumpsy and nervous I can be. I was just wishing myself luck and also waiting for shuffling of partners. I was willing to support anyone who wants to exchange. This shows that Heaven can be cruel sometimes.
