The BMW drove slowly to her side, the man in the car rolled down the window and his voice sounded low in the quiet night, “Get in.”
Who was he to her? He told her to get in, and she got in?
He didn’t have any relationship with her now. If it wasn’t for Hunter Dean’s betrayal that night, she wouldn’t care about him at all.
“Get in.”
The man continued to speak in a low, but noticeably softer tone.
There were people coming out one after another from the bar, all looking at this scene strangely, Halle even heard whispers. The lady who sold wine earlier was even more gossipy when she passed Halle, she said, “Halle, you know each other?”
“No, don’t talk rot.” Halle gave an embarrassed smile, “Bonnie, can you give me a ride?”
“This …” Bonnie glanced hesitantly at Ronan’s luxurious BMW, clearly intending to refuse.
Halle was so angry because Ronan put her in such an embarrassing situation. Looking at Bonnie’s dilemma, she whispered,
“Well, you can go first.”
When Bonnie heard that, she left as quickly as she could.
Seeing the people leaving one by one, Halle still didn’t get a taxi. Damn it, she seemed to be especially unlucky once she met Ronan.
The more she walked, the more painful her leg was. The dim streetlights illuminated her figure as she walked alone in the quiet night, with only the sound of the occasional passing car ringing out the night and making her even lonelier.
On the side, that car always followed her closely. She couldn’t outrun the luxury cars, so she could only let his car follow her closely.
Seeing a taxi coming, Halle hurriedly waved her hands, and the taxi slowed down, but when it got closer and then saw the BMW beside her, it sped up and left, with no intention of stopping.
Halle couldn’t stand it any longer, stopped, and yelled at the man in the car.
“Sir, now I’m not pestering you, you’re pestering me.”
With his car following her like that, even if a taxi passed by, it wouldn’t take her because it looked like a young couple quarreling.
But she and he, in fact, were just passers-by. She just accidentally got on the wrong car, but this time, she didn’t want to.
“Get in,” the man said again, with unspoken dominance.
That kind of dominance made Halle especially annoying, “Hey, go away, don’t follow me.”
She was so tired because she had been walked for a long time. She was so sleepy and wanted to go back to her dorm then sleep on her bed.
“Get in,” he insisted. It seemed that he wouldn’t leave until she got in the car.
Had he waited outside the bar all night for the purpose of getting her into his car?
Thinking about the ridiculous incident last time, she was afraid of having entanglement with him again.
She couldn’t scold him, and she couldn’t escape. The feeling of helplessness swiftly swept through Halle’s nerves, and for a moment she really wanted to rush up and give him a few slaps.
If she hadn’t been admonishing herself that impulsiveness was the devil, she would have really rushed up to him.
Continuing to stagger along the crosswalk, she walked in the innermost, as far away from him as possible. Just as she lamented that she had to walk back to school tonight, her body was suddenly took by someone in arms, and then she was quickly put into the passenger seat of the black BMW.
Ronan even fastened seat belt for her.
Nerves strained, she looked estranged at him who had only just gotten into the driver’s seat. “Mr Grant, is this a kidnapping?”
He was silent and simply ignored her angry and murderous gaze as he slowly started the car and then drove fast. From the direction she had no idea where he was driving her, “Hey, what the hell do you want?”
“Shut up,” he let out a low growl, and clearly didn’t seem to be in a good mood either.
How could this be? He kidnapped her and she’s not allowed to protest?
As soon as she reached out, she was about to twist the steering wheel, “Stop, I want to get out.”
The car shook for a moment, but he then steadied the car, “Don’t you want to live?”
“Yes, but the premise is that you park first and I want to get off.”
“Well, then we’ll die together.”
She thought he was joking, but then, Halle was scared. Ronan drove the car into an S shape, he drove so fast that she forgot to get out of the car, just screamed. Luckily it was late at night like this, and there weren’t many cars on the road, only one drove by occasionally, otherwise, she felt like she was really scared to death by him.
“Ah … ah …”
The thrill of that fear was unparalleled and hard to describe, and if he was going to keep driving like that, then she would be mad.
But turning a corner, Ronan turned to normal. He drove at an even speed and also began to play soothing soft music. Ronan drove in a pleasant spirit, not caring if she was making a silent protest. She was terrified. Even if the car had air conditioning on, she was still covered in sweat.
“Here you are.” A man’s handkerchief with dark plaid pattern was presented to her with a faint fragrance.
Subconsciously she reached for it because she felt her body was sticky and greasy.
Wiping her sweat, she realized the car had stopped and a neighborhood gate was slowly opening in front of her, she panicked at once, “Where is this?”
“My apartment,” he spoke briefly, ignoring her panic at all.
The car quickly drove into this luxurious neighborhood. When it was parked on the parking lot, Ronan opened the car door for her as a gentleman, and then personally unbuckled the seat belt for her who was still in a daze. “Let’s go home.”
“Let’s go home” was so natural. It’s as if the place they were going to now was their home. When she heard the word “home”, she felt warm. Suddenly, she was looking forward home. How long had she not known the feeling of having a home?
She never had a home.
Standing in the elevator, from the negative floor to the top floor, Ronan took out the key and opened the door of the room. The oversized living room was like a big classroom in school. Guiding her to sit on the sofa, he took a look at her legs then poured a cup of tea and a cup of water, handed the water to her and said, “Have a drink.”
From beginning to end she was at his mercy like a puppet, “Ronan, what exactly do you want?”
He lifted his cup of tea and blew on the hot vapor from the cup, then said in the dense steam, “Be my woman.”
Just a few words as if without thinking, which made Halle’s mind in an uproar, and she looked at him nervously, her thoughts only left with surprise.
The man took a sip of tea and waved one hand in front of her face, “What’s wrong, unwilling?”
