Manfred stunned for a moment as he looked at Selina.
“You don’t need to go to work. I’ll take care of you.”
Selina knew he would say this. How would a man like Manfred agree to let her redeem herself? However, she had to do that.
Hence, Selina softened her voice even more, “This isn’t the same! I’ve been living in the Keith family for three years, and I almost lost connection with the outside world. I want to get to know the outside world better. I’m doing this… for you.”
“For me?” Manfred blinked his eyes.
“Of course. If I could go out to work, maybe we’ll have more topics in common to talk about. This way, I’ll be able to share some of your burdens.”
The corner of Manfred’s lips slightly tipped into a smile, “Little fox, since when are you so honey-tongued?”
Although he knew she said that for the sake of going out for work, he inexplicably enjoyed it.
“I mean it!” Selina muttered.
As soon as she finished her words, the man had already put out the cigarette in his hand and turned over to pin her down.

Selina pursed her lips while looking at the man in front of him. Then, she raised her head and gave him a kiss on the face.
Manfred couldn’t help but laugh at her clumsiness.

“You’re really tired?” Manfred casually wrapped her in the quilt before getting out of bed, “Alright then.”
Looking at Manfred’s back that was about to leave, Selina asked hurriedly, “Then, I…”
“The company is planning to recruit a full-time staff; you can submit your resume directly! I’ll ask Osborn to inform them!”
“Really?” Selina was overjoyed that she quickly jumped out of bed and hugged Manfred’s waist from behind, “Thank you!”
The softness of her chest pressed on his back, and he tightened his gaze, “You have brought it upon yourself this time.”
Selina was stunned. She quickly turned around and wanted to run away, but Manfred immediately grabbed her back.
The sun shined through the window and faded out again. Selina rubbed her waist and finally got out of bed.
Although she was terribly punished, she felt really happy that she could go out to work.

Manfred frowned, “What else do you need?”
