Prologue

Book:Rising Phoenix Published:2024-6-3

The large iron prison doors are opened, and a young woman steps out, determined to reclaim her life and seek justice for the injustice that had been done to her. She also moves toward the destruction of those who had falsely accused her.
Her eyes, which had once been filled with helpless tears, are now gleaming with courage and resolve. She can’t eliminate the lingering memories of her time in prison, particularly the sense of being trapped, the abuse, and the torture she went through there. Although she still has some concerns, she is motivated to clear her name, demonstrate her innocence, and quench her thirst for revenge.
She felt empowered in that instant as the sun shone brightly on her face. The injustice inflicted upon her for so many years would no longer be tolerated. She vowed to hold those who had harmed her accountable and bring them to justice. Her road to vindication would not be easy, full of unforeseen turns. But despite how devastated and broken she will be after this game of vengeance, she will not back down and will not retreat.
The girl moves through the crowds of people waiting outside to swarm around recently released prisoners with tenacity, but she can not help but feel alone as she navigates them. She has suffered great injustice and it is difficult for her to trust anyone because of this. She is aware that she cannot accomplish this on her own, and her only concern is for the destruction of those who have made her life a living hell. Only those selfish demons’ destruction can bring her peace because her inner soul has suffered and continues to suffer. She is aware that this quest to clear her name will not be easy as she moves closer to the city.
She is battling both those who put her in prison and the justice system itself, which she feels has failed her. Since she has nothing left to lose, she is determined to face it all head-on with bravery and grit. Nothing could  hurt her more than being robbed of her identity, freedom, and dignity.
The girl moves forward with a fire burning within her despite the barriers in her path. And while no one realizes that the girl who was imprisoned was merely naive and innocent, those power-hungry demons were unaware that they had created the biggest, scariest demon yet, one who is out for vengeance. She was surrounded by dangerously thrilling energy that crackled in the air. Her resolve intensifies as she moves forward, moment by moment. Until she can see their destruction, either through the legal system or by her means, the devil inside of her won’t stop.
She will also not forget what it was like to be imprisoned. She will persuade them that the deadliest warrior history has yet to witness is a young woman with a scar on her soul. She will change the perception of those who hold girls to be helpless and weak. She will explain to them why Durga is the most potent and dangerous goddess and why the other three supreme gods bowed in respect for the immense power she holds along with the softness in her nature. This level of tenacity despite unfairness and hardship is truly admirable.
Retaliation, however, can start a vicious cycle of violence and harm, so it is important to keep this in mind. In this war, she was front and centre. And she knows that she will pay for this revenge with her life but she doesn’t care as her innocence and freedom was brutally snatched by them.
She had no idea how her legs had carried her to the building’s front, Miller’s group, where she belonged in every way, but they snatched this right away. The people who were in charge of destroying her were enjoying the fruits of her parents’ labours. The luxury that was intended for her and her alone was now being enjoyed by them. They were the only family she had after her parents passed away, but how naive she was to think she could afford to share her luxury with them.
She begins to search for shelter after exhausting her body. She will spend today losing herself in her misery. She will start plotting the game tomorrow, and everyone will be a spouse in her game just as she was in their game before.
As soon as she enters Miller’s house shelter, the memories start to rush back to her. During the summer, she used to spend most of her weekends at this residence. Her heart held a special place in this location. She never imagined that after living her happy days, she would enter this property as a broken and defenseless young woman.
She cannot but cry as she considers her life’s cruel fate. In her wildest dreams, she never imagined that she would end up here not as the owner of the place but as the helpless and broken girl she has become. This place used to be heaven for her, but now there is no single place that is anything less than hell for her.
After calming herself down, she starts to survey her surroundings.
This place is almost the same as she remembered it, but she can not help the feeling of loneliness and hopelessness that permit through her.
She was aware that no one would be able to identify her due to the misery created in the prison. The severe malnutrition she had experienced had caused her to lose a significant amount of weight, and the scar on her jaw had caused her to conceal her half-face, making it impossible for her to recognize herself.
She walks up to the reception area where she met a young woman who looked about the same age as her. She greets that broken girl with a scowl on her face and looks the girl up and down with distaste.
The receptionist asked in her obnoxious voice, “Cash or card,” after evaluating the girl with a probing gaze.
The girl asked in a hoarse voice, “Isn’t it free to stay here?” with a confused expression on her face because she couldn’t understand the meaning of the receptionist’s question.
“Is it a charity program we have opened for repulsive creatures like you?” The receptionist demanded in an offensive tone as she made a disgusting face.
“But wasn’t that a charitable initiative started by the Miller group?” the girl questioned.
The receptionist looked at the girl as though she had sprouted a second head before saying, “It was changed after the new chairperson was appointed for Miller group.”
Great, now they made decisions as though they were the ones who had put their blood and sweat into creating this group, which included my parents. How they even felt no remorse about converting charitable programs into commercially successful ones. They never failed to make her dislike them to the core. Now that they were making business decisions as they were the ones who created this empire, she felt she had more justification to destroy them. They will come to regret all of their actions and crimes thanks to a girl who was broken by none other than those people who once called themselves her family.
She was overcome with rage as she thought back on all the suffering that had been inflicted upon her and realized that her parents’ hard work was now being undone by the removal of all the charitable initiatives they had started. The girl felt a deep sense of betrayal at the hands of her own family, and her anger only fueled her desire to seek revenge.
When she is finished with them, they will label the person she became for them as a demon. She imagined herself in her mind as a fierce, vengeful force that would do anything to exact revenge for the suffering and pain she had experienced. They will not be able to escape the hell she will create for them. She will make a hell for them that will be much worse than the real thing.
They ought to have given it some thought before crossing her because of their actions, she has been forced to reawaken. She is no longer afraid because she has nothing to lose, but she will ensure that they do lose everything, including the materials they cherish most dearly. They will not be able to see people in their eyes after I finished with them. They will think of dying every second of their life but that would be the most precious gift God could ever give them because they will be rid of the torment she has in store for them.
All of them will play a game she sets up, but only she will be able to intervene. She will use them all as pawns in her game of making spouses, and she will be the one who irreparably wrecks their lives.
Allow the game of destroying their lives to begin…
