Chapter 605: What do you want

“Eloise, here, you have some too.”
Mrs Matriarch was on hand not to forget to greet Eloise.
“Thanks.”
Taking the pear from Mrs Matriarch, Eloise took a small bite.
The clean taste instantly spills out into the mouth, Sweety’s.
Several people have been chatting at the hospital, Mrs Matriarch and Eloise talking about family matters, but not mentioning the previous incident, for fear of her resentment.
Before you know it, time is slipping through your fingers.
Solomon’s body is much better after his drip and his little face is rosy.
The family was relieved when the doctor came to check on them and said they were ready to be discharged.
“I’ll take Sweety back first, then.”
Alarmed that it was time to come out, Eloise got up with the intention of taking Sweety away.
Mrs Matriarch saw the reluctance in her son’s eyes and suggested, “I’ll go back later to do Solomon’s discharge, I’ll watch here, Hector, you see her off.”
Eloise sniffed and scrambled to wave her hand, politely declining, “No, I’m fine.”
“It’s okay, let’s go.”
Hector, still holding his little girl in his hands, stood up and said with a bemused expression, making his own decision.
Eloise’s mind was bemused by the fact that this man always seemed to show a domineering side to her, and she instinctively gave in.
With a sigh, he followed Hector out.
At the same time, a sense of curiosity about his murky past arises in his mind.
If she had really known this family, she would have had a happy past, right?
Hector was aware of Eloise’s concerns, so the car did not stop at the Darlington family gate this time.
Park the car across a tree.
Eloise got out of the car with her little girl in her arms and looked at Hector in front of her and said gratefully, “Thank you, for your trouble again.”
The polite but distant tone caused Hector’s eyes to change slightly, and he was more than a little uncomfortable in his mind.
Thin, cool fingers twisted gently as he quickly concealed his emotions.
“We should, we’re so happy that you’ve brought Sweety to see Solomon.”
The phrase “we” seems to lurk with a deeper meaning.
When Hector spoke to her, his voice was always soft and infinitely loving, with the intimate tone of a lover.
Eloise averted her eyes slightly, forcing herself not to think too much about it.
Without further psychological pressure from Hector, his gaze fell on the little girl.
Gently scraping her nose, he said dotingly, “Sweety, I’ll see you next time.”
“Daddy …”
Sweety’s eyes tickled with reluctance when she saw Hector leaving.
Little arms outstretched and flailing in the air to get at Hector.
The little mouth puckered up, a little less than pleased.
She still wants to be with Daddy.
Seeing Sweety’s reluctant look, Hector’s heart fluttered and he came forward.
He took the little girl’s chubby hand and kissed it with infinite affection, coaxing her, “I’ll see you next time, for sure.”
The little girl who got the answer then showed a smile and flexed her thumb slightly to pull the hook with Hector.
Only after he was stamped would he be let go.
Eloise smiles helplessly and carries her little girl towards the Darlington family.
Just after pushing open the door, I bumped into Rowson head on.
Her mind was somehow weak for a small moment.
I’ve just taken Sweety to see Solomon in hospital, I forgot to tell you, do you mind?”
Rowson sniffed and shook his head, “No, are you free tonight? I’ve booked the restaurant, let’s have dinner.”
At these words, Rowson’s fingers are slightly hard, uncomfortable to be sure, but not on his face.
It was his birthday and he used to be too noisy to bother holding it.
But this time, he wanted to make the most of the opportunity.
Eloise thought for a moment and said, “Sure, there’s nothing to do in the evening.”
She had let Rowson off the hook yesterday and was overwhelmed.
“OK, then I’ll book the restaurant and send you the address.”
When she responded, Rowson’s mouth curled into a meaningful smile.
The two agreed and Eloise went to help out at the office.
In the afternoon, towards the end of the day, Rowson sent the address of the restaurant and Eloise packed her things and headed over.
Pushing open the door to the restaurant, she was mildly surprised.
Rowson’s reservation this time was for an authentic Western-style restaurant with a romantic and very exotic atmosphere.
Beautiful lights fall vertically, giving off a soft aura.
The lighting is warm and somewhat dim, with a hazy aesthetic of its own.
The overall layout of the restaurant also feels very comfortable and gives a sense of elegance and tranquillity.
“It’s Miss Eloise, I think.”
The waiter came over and bowed slightly towards her.
Eloise was stunned for a moment, then nodded, a little surprised at how this person knew it was her.
The waiter looked at her with an ambiguous smile on his face as he led Eloise towards the inside.
“Mr. Rowson has been waiting for you over here for a long time, so come with me.”
Eloise walked in and realised that the huge restaurant was empty.
And inside, the venue was gorgeously decorated with roses everywhere.
The red carpet spread beneath her feet was also covered with luscious flower petals, giving birth to a flowery path under her feet.
The moment you step on it, a soft saxophone tune flows out in a flash.
The elegant and romantic ditty is like the flowing water of a goblet, slowly gliding through the heart.
At the sight, Eloise’s mouth fell open slightly, wondering if she had come to the wrong place.
“Here it is.”
The waiter led her to the central table.
The table has obviously been carefully decorated, the candles are swaying and the liquid in the red wine glasses reflects Eloise’s beautiful face.
The table is seated for two, but there is no sign of Rowson.
Eloise’s mind grew more puzzled and she asked in wonder, “Where is he?”
The waiter smiled and gestured behind him, and in a flash the ornate crystal lights overhead went out, leaving only the orange candlelight to illuminate the room.
In the darkness, Rowson walked slowly towards her with a large bouquet of pink roses in his hands.
Next to him, someone came along pushing a cake trolley.
On top of the cake, two small figures are printed, a man and a woman sweetly snuggled together.
Rowson was dressed in a black suit with a light smile on his handsome face.
With slightly red ears, she handed the flowers in her hand to Eloise and said softly, “For you,”
Eloise looked at the scene in front of her with some shock and forgot to pick up the flowers for a moment.
Looking at the set up, she snapped to attention that it seemed to be Rowson’s birthday.
But one does not prepare a gift.
In reaction, Eloise pounded her head with some chagrin, looked at Rowson with an apologetic face and said sullenly, “I’ll make it up to you when I get back, if you want anything, okay?”
