His mouth came crashing down on hers, his huge hands winding the long silky strands of her hair while his other hand snaked expertly around her waist yanking her frail soft body against his hard frames.
He ground his lips over her mouth, his tongue began probing but she kept her lips sealed giving him no access. Pressing their bodies together, he squeezed her jaws until she had no choice but to open it for him.
He didn’t waste any more time. Thrusting his tongue inside mimicking lovemaking, he cupped her breast and knead them in a ravishing fashion.
Mortified, she pushed him away and wiped her mouth repeatedly trying to remove the stain of taste he left on her lips. Daemon let out an empty laugh while Devon is on the verge of tears.
She can’t believe he kissed her and she can’t believe how she let him do that.
“Damn you!” she shouted, her knees are trembling again so she sat down or else she’ll fall to the floor.
“Well, damned be me but I want to do it again. Come here,” he said hoarsely but she’s quick to throw him the pillows next to her.
“Don’t come near me! That’s sexual harassment, you pig!” She pointed at him and grabbed whatever thing she could in the room to hurl at him. “I’m warning you, don’t come near me or I will kill you!”
“Then you can sue me.”
She got her hand on a samurai display ready to throw in his direction. Daemon’s eyes grew larger.
“Ow! Ow! Put it down. You don’t know how to use it. Put it down now!”
She grinned. “Now you want me to put it down. What if I don’t? What would happen if I opened it like this? Hmm?”
She twisted open the cap and slowly pulled out the long sharp sword.
“I’m telling you, woman. Put it down now. You don’t know how sharp its blade is.”
“Really? How about I try to slice your head off so I could know?” Smirking, she walked up to Daemon who threw his hands in the air as a form of surrender and stepped back until he reached the wall.
“Ava, please. Put it down now. I’m begging you. Fucking’s sake, you could injure your hand!”
“Now, I’m Ava,” she snorted. “Now you’re finally acknowledging who I am. Yes, you’re right. I’m Ava, not Devon.”
Swishing the metal back and forth, she bent down and prepared to attack him.
“You’re crazy!” he screamed.
“Yes, I am! I’m a crazy woman,” she screamed too. “That’s why you shouldn’t have messed with me! Ahh!”
She charged towards him but he was quicker. In a swift motion, he tripped her feet and caught her hand after kicking the blade away. Holding her hands captive on her back, he plucked her out in the ground and deposited her onto the sofa, pinning his weight on her body.
“You could have wounded yourself. Silly girl,” he said in clenched jaws.
“If I’m silly then you’re an idiot,” she relented. “Who the fuck in his right mind would stalk a woman, creeped her out, and then tell her she’s his wife! You’re nuts! You’re one fucking nuts, Daemon! Let me go!”
“No, I won’t until you’ve calmed down. You are not going anywhere. You’re coming with me today.”
Her squirming intensified. “If you don’t let me go, I’ll kill you. I swear, I’m going to kill you.”
Amused, he leaned down his face and kissed her nose. “What happened to you, Devon? You’ve become feisty now. I don’t know but I like it and it turns me on.”
He rubbed his hardness on her stomach and sighed in pleasure. “You pig! Get off me! Don’t you dare think of kissing me again!”
“Well, thanks for reminding me and in our position, I could do it again.”
Her expression became contorted like a beast ready to snatch at her prey. “Do it and I’ll bite off your tongue and eat it.”
Holding back his laughter, he touched her face gently and smiled.
“I’ll do it when we’re back in our house. Right now, you are not going anywhere. You’re coming with me today.”
He freed her hands from his grip but before she could even celebrate, he tossed her body into his shoulder and walked out of the door.
“This is kidnapping, Daemon! Let me go!”
She punched his head, scratched his face and called for someone for help but Charisse who was on the counter and the rest of the customers only looked at them adorably.
“Help, help! He’s kidnapping me! Can anyone please call the police? Help, he’s touching my ass!”
“Sorry for the commotion everyone. My wife is just cranky today,” Daemon apologized while showing them his wedding ring.
The people erupted in cheers to her shock.
“Hey! Someone here is being kidnapped and you’re all laughing? Come on! I’m not kidding. He’s not my husband! He is kidnapping me! help me, please!”
“Can you please just shut up? You’re breaking my eardrums.”
Daemon placed her in the passenger’s seat before climbing inside and starting the engine and skillfully maneuvering the car into the traffic.
“I’ll break your bones if I have the chance. How dare you kidnap me?! You’re keeping me against my will!” she hollered in between frantic breaths. “Bring me back now or I’m calling the police.”
He shrugged his shoulders. “I’ll show them our marriage license.”
“I am not married to you!”
“You are. You are my wife.”
Frustrated because they keep on running around the same circles talking about the same thing, him insisting she’s his wife and her denying it, she slumped up herself in the car seat and crossed her arms and looked out of the window.
“Where are you taking me? Where are we going?” she asked after a moment of silence.
“To our house. You’re my wife so you belong there. You should be living with me.”
She glanced at him. “I told you I’m not Devon. I’m not your wife. How many times do I have to tell you that? Are you dense? We haven’t even done the test yet.”
He handed her an envelope she reluctantly received.
“I already did. Illegally just like what you advised me.”
She opened the envelope in a hurry and pulled out a piece of paper. She read every word one by one, never missing any sentence. When she reached that part of the results, she could only hope that her eyes are betraying her.
“99. 9999 percent matched,” Daemon said out loud. “There’s no denying now that you are Devon Farrows. You’re my wife.”
