Mira’s POV:
“Hey, Heaven…….” I kept calling for my wolf who has been silent all this period, her silence is killing me within. “Can’t this person leave and stop gawking at me,” I angrily muttered.
“Calm down, baby girl……” I heard a tiny voice inside my head, the voice was captivating. The voice that I have so much longed to hear.
“Heaven!!….” With a mesmerizing smile, I screamed in joy.
“You are back! You there…..?” I asked as my smile widened.
“I have always been here…..” She yawned when rubbing her eyes, she looked adorable.
“What do you mean that you have always been here? When you were busy ignoring and snubbing my calls……” I whined with a poker face.
“Where were you all this time?” I suspiciously asked her as I narrowed my eyes on her.
“I was sleeping,” she reluctantly mumbled as if it was the best thing to do at this moment.
“Sleeping!!!….” I exclaimed in utter surprise. “What the fuck!!….” I surprisingly snapped my head at her.
“You are fucking annoying….” With a frown, she murmured.
“Like seriously I am being annoyed when you are here sleeping……..” I disappointedly groaned.
“What am I supposed to do then…..?” She asked.
“You are seriously asking me what to do Heaven…”
” We are dead, and those dangerous mates of us have decided to follow us to the spirit world to torment us more, and here you are complaining instead of thinking on a way to help me so that we could work with the other spirits on making their stay here a living hell,” I seriously whispered to Heaven to avoid any other person or the spirits hearing us, maybe they were eavesdropping because I heard someone laughing. Getting scared instantly I call out to Heaven.
“Heaven, you there? Seems like we need to strike now…..” I nervously murmured.
“Haha!….. why didn’t you tell me that you are a comedian?” Amid her laugh, Heaven asked me.
“What! Does this sound like a joke to you? We have been killed in the human world and you expect us to also get killed in the spirit world again…… this is unbelievable!!” I undoubtedly snapped.
“We can’t allow them to overthrow us here, we need to do something before they strike……
“You of all people, know that they are manipulative, cunny, dangerous, and most especially poisonous……. So I supposed that you don’t want to fold your hands and allow them to torment our spirit?” I asked in a serious tone.
“Really! Mira, have you completely lost it,” trying to suppress her laugh, Heaven asked when using her paw to cover her mouth.
“Yes, we have both lost it, but this is not the right time to start contemplating whether we have lost it or not, because we have a bigger thing to achieve than that. COME ON, HEAVEN! I impatiently glared at her.
” Mira, I am serious, are you sure you haven’t run mad?” With concern, Heaven mumbled.
“Mad! …… how?” I stared at her confusedly as her question kept chanting in my head, I raised a question within myself “Am I mad? Why did Heaven see it like I was going mad slowly?
” This is serious……” Heaven quietly mumbled. I stared at her for some minutes but did not honestly get what she was saying, trying to know if I could understand what she was saying.
“Ouch!….. Heaven just stop, you are seriously driving me insane, I need to think about how to overthrow this sibling,” I hurl a glare at her when battling to come up with an idea.
“I will be the one telling you that, you are driving us insane. YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN FIRST, MIRA!” holding her head she yells.
“You don’t yell at me, you want our torture to continue here again in the spirit world, and you clearly, know that this is our last chance that if we were to be killed now then that means that we are gone forever. We can’t possibly be defeated here in the spirit world which means that we will be tormented for eternity by them………
” I am damn sure you don’t want that…..?” I tried explaining to Heaven that what I didn’t want was to have issues with my wolf. I need her right now, we both need ourselves now. We can’t be separated if not these people will get to us.
Swallowing to calm herself down, she stared at me and mumbled quietly “There is nothing like the spirit world, we are not dead, Mira….
” Now is not the right time for those flat jokes, Heaven we are dead. Though I wish that we were not dead, I understand you, Heaven, you don’t want to die but we couldn’t do anything because the deed has been done…..” I cried out.
“Dramatic! Congrats on succeeding in driving us insane…..” Hissing, Heaven rolls her eyes at me.
“I am so sorry, Heaven for not being strong enough to protect us,” I continued sobbing.
“Ouch! You are frustrating me,” Heaven groans.
“I understand, Heaven,” ignoring her complaints I proceeded with my cries.
“Ok….. okay! I have heard so now can you stop?” She glares harder at me.
“I am so sorry, Heaven,” I mumbled with tears trailing down my cheeks.
“Gosh! I have heard,” she curses underneath her.
“Fine, so can you help me and think of a plan? I promise I won’t let you down again,” with my hand placed on my heart and the other one lifted I said.
“Fine but on one condition,” sitting upright she enunciates.
“What!…?” With concern, I asked.
“We are not dead and we are…… I didn’t allow her to finish before I jumped in and interrupted her once again ” There you go again, Heaven we are dead……”
“Mira, we are not dead,” she insisted.
“Can’t you get it, Heaven, we are dead so stop giving yourself false hopes,” I angrily spit, I am tired of trying for her to see things with me. I understand she doesn’t want to die yet, despite the misery and everything I don’t want to die. Dying now means leaving everything behind, I want to be happy and enjoy my life far away from them all but here I am dead and battling with a plan to use against these mates of mine.
“I can feel it, Mira, we are not dead but just lying down on a mattress,” I was snapped back by Heaven’s voice.
“What are you talking about?” I was quick to ask, my curiosity piquing.
“We are inside Derrick’s room, I can feel his wolf Ethan but they seem worried,” Heaven whispered.
“What are you talking about, Heaven? Don’t play pranks on me,” I nervously mumbled. Part of me felt happy that I was still alive while the other part felt scared “How did Derrick find us? Has he found out about me and Nicholas?”
“Sir, you requested this……” Angel’s voice jerked me back to reality. Forcefully drawing my eyes open, I scanned the whole place before my confused eyes suddenly fell on the grinning Derrick and surprised Angel.
“What are you doing here!!…..” Angel surprisingly whispered with confusion writing all over her face.
“I am screwed…….
