Chapter 78 Epilogue (part 2)

Jules loved Ceaser’s pancakes and she hated him when he rushed her out of the Estate and around Kapalua. They had stayed out late and when they had gotten back to the Estate, it was dark out. He had taken her straight to their room and handed her a dress which Andy and Sofi had gotten for him to give to her. He had told her to get ready and while she got ready, he did the same and waited for her outside between the living/dining area and the massive heated pool.
Jules walked from the bedroom in the white long sleeve lace gown that hugged every inch of her body and hands which flared from her knees down. She had decided to go with a flat white strappy sandal. When she found Ceaser in a tux waiting for her near the pool, she smiled at how gorgeous he looked. Even though they had been together for three years, she wasn’t sure if she liked better in or out of a suit.
Ceaser didn’t need to hear footsteps to know that she was near. Her steps were inaudible as she made his way to him and he inhaled at the sight of her. He held out his hand to her and she placed hers into his and he pulled her snug against him.
“I would prefer if we skip the dinner I planned for a much tastier dessert.”
Jules took a swat at his arm.
“You!”
He smiled before he leaned into her, his cheek brushing hers
“You are so beautiful. I’m not sure if I prefer you naked or clothed.”
Jules almost laughed because that had just been her thought.
“You look good enough to eat.” She sunk her teeth into his neck and pulled making him groan.
“Keep that up and you’ll find yourself flat on the ground with me buried deep inside you.”
Jules pulled back to look at him.
“Is that a promise?”
“Witch.” She giggled “Come, let’s get you fed.”
Ceaser helped her down the stairs and held her in his arms as they walked around the pool and then down another set of stairs coming to a table for two in the middle of the field which was closest and had the best view of the ocean in front of them. Jules smiled at the decorated table and the roses spread across the field around the table.
She looked at Ceaser who was watching her with a smile on his face.
“It’s beautiful.”
She sighed when she heard the waves crashing in front of them, she was tempted to run down the steppers and to the beach but she looked back at the table and knew she couldn’t, not right then anyway.
Ceaser pulled out a chair for her and she sat down. He took a seat across from her.
“When did you plan all this?” She asked.
“Since we arrived.” He said and she shook her head looking back at the ocean as he watched her.
“I wish we could stay here forever.” She said.
Ceaser was silent for a moment as he thought.
“Maybe we can.”
Jules snapped her gaze to him.
“I was just saying, I didn’t mean it.”
He smiled.
“A part of you did.”
She sighed.
He knew her so well.
“Well, don’t think too much about it because it’s not going to happen.” She said.
He smiled and as if on cue, the hired chef for the evening came with two other staff with trays of food.
“I’m starved.” She said as she watched them set each delicacy on the table. “Thank you.” She smiled at the chef.
“You’re welcome Mrs. Thompson.” She said before she left with the other two.
They talked about random things as they ate. Jules wanted to come back there with everyone. Ivy, Sofi and Andy, his parents, Alex and Xavier. Speaking of his friends though.
“When’s Xavier going to be back?” She asked “He’s been gone for months.”
Ceaser wiped the sides of his mouth.
“He hasn’t said anything about coming back.” He sighed “How’s Sofi taking it?”
“She’s giving up slowly.” She said “Andy has been trying to keep her relationship with Alex on a low-key for her.”
“Explains why Alex had been in a mood.” He said making her sigh and he reached for her hand across the table “Don’t worry about, everything’s going to work out in its own way.”
Jules smiled at him before she frowned and shook her head.
“I’m sorry.” She said “I shouldn’t have brought that up, today’s supposed to be about us.”
“You just worried about them.” He said “And if it’s even possible, I love you even more for it.”
Jules smiled as his thumb caressed the back of her hand.
The breeze around them, the sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean, the moonlit sky filled with stars changed the air around them. Soon the breeze picked up and Jules looked up at the sky and smiled at what was to come. Lightening shown in the sky and the breeze around her made her skin prickle with anticipation. Soon, droplets fell from the sky and she closed her eyes.
Ceaser had been caught up with the look on her face to realize the change in the weather. He snapped up and was beside her in a Nano-second.
“Let’s get you inside.”
Jules ignored him, her hand still in his.
“Not yet.” She said almost inaudible.
It went from a drizzle to deafening rainfall and soon they were both completely drenched.
“Now Jules.” Ceaser said a little louder for her to hear him.
Jules inhaled the petrichor; it was the next best thing after Ceaser’s scent.
“In a moment.”
“I don’t want you getting sick.” He said and when she didn’t make a move, he yanked her out of her chair and splat against him.
“Wait.” She held his shoulders when he was about to turn.
Ceaser looked at her and took a moment before he sighed. She even looked more beautiful under the rainfall.
She smiled up at him as his gaze dropped to her wet lips.
“The heaven’s celebrating the day we became one.”
Ceaser would have smiled at her perspective of the situation but he was too busy thinking of another way he could be one with her. Jules’s smile disappeared when she saw the look in his eyes, the hunger, the desire for her she had gotten to know over the years. It still made her shiver and with the added water seeping into her dress, she trembled in his arms and Ceaser tightened his grip around her before he leaned in and took her mouth in his.
It was slow and torturously sweet and made her yearn for him instantly. She was just as insatiable for him as he was for her.
“Ceaser…” She pulled away gasping.
“Are you ready to come inside now?”
Jules nodded her head, unable to speak due to her breathlessness. Ceaser bent and picked her up bridal style, walking back inside and into their room all wet and ready.
