“Which one should I wear? Red or blue?”
Serenity huffed throwing herself on the bed.
She is still in a rob while hybrids are standing there ready in tuxedos.
“Wear anything… It always looks good on you…”
Vincent shrugged.
“Don’t touch your head to the bed… You will ruin your bun”
Nicolai said fixing his tie.
“This is not how you give suggestions..”
Serenity shot them glare.
“Tell me one otherwise I am coming in a rob”
“don’t wear anything from that…”
Her head snapped towards the Lucifer.
“I have new gown for you…”
Serenity smiled.
“Really?”
“Yes…”
He grabbed the bag from the table and placed in front of her.
“It’s a big event and queen should look like a queen…”
He pecked her lips.
“Thank you”
Serenity pulled him in a deep kiss.
“I was so worried, i don’t want to look underdressed…”
Serenity happily opened the bag but her smile disappeared when she saw the familiar dress.
Her stomach churned.
It was a red velvety gown, full sleeves but shoulders designed with rubies and delicate gold work. It’s a mermaid dress but has a long tail.
“It’s a handmade dress… Beautiful isn’t it.”
He asked.
Serenity was frozen in her place.
“Oh god! You guys are still not ready.”
They heard Angel and looked at her.
“Guests are already there… Everyone is waiting for you…”
She said eagerly.
“Kings shouldn’t be late.”
“You are looking like a cindrella…”
Nicolai looked at her adoringly.
Serenity gulped when she recognised angel’s dress. For a second she saw blankness forming in front of her eyes.
“You are looking handsome… Wow! You all are looking breathtaking… You have already set the bar high for my mate.”
She laughed.
“If he is not like you then i don’t want him.”
“He will be better than us, princess…”
Lucifer smiled.
Angel smiled.
“Mom, come on… Get ready… Woah! Who did your makeup, you are looking so hot…”
Serenity smiled nervously.
“Come here…”
Angel walked towards her and kissed her forehead.
“You are looking so beautiful, my child…”
She looked at her adoringly.
“Thank you.”
Angel hugged her.
“I trust you Mom… And i will always love you.”
She whispered in her ears.
Serenity broke the hug and caressed her cheek. Hybrids were looking at them adoringly.
“Look into my eyes…”
Serenity said.
“What are you doing?”
Vincent asked when serenity started chanting spells.
Hybrids frowned when her spells made the wind angry. Windows started banging loudly. Chandelier started dangling with the air.
Loud thunder roared in the sky like it’s ready to fall on someone.
But serenity didn’t stop, she kept chanting.
“Sera?”
Nicolai called her.
Serenity finally stopped and asked Angel.
“How are you feeling?”
Angel blinked few times.
“Umm… Very light… Like i am floating in the air.”
“What did you do?”
Lucifer asked her.
“Nothing”
Serenity looked at him.
“I was just casting protection spell around her.”
“We all are here to protect her… You don’t have to worry so much…”
Vincent assured.
“We will be busy in the event… I don’t want to take a risk…”
Serenity said.
“It will make me assured…”
“Okay, so i am going down… Don’t worry, i am with my brothers… I’ll be fine.”
Angel said and stood up.
“Yeah, and i know it’s not the right time to ask because you guys must be in hurry but have you ever thought about getting married…”
She asked.
Serenity shook her head with chuckle and walked away to wear her dress.
“Marriage is for humans, Angel…”
Vincent said not liking why she is talking about human rituals.
“But mom was human too, she must have dream about her wedding.”
She replied.
“She is not human anymore”
Vincent frowned.
Nicolai placed his hand on Vincent’s shoulder to make him calm down.
“Angel, just like humans don’t perform our rituals just like that we don’t follow theirs… Wedding is unnecessary when we are choosen as mates by moon godess and marking is similar to the wedding.”
“But mom was human and she still has human part in her… She deserves wedding.”
Angel argued.
“I don’t understand why everyone around me hates humans so much… They are not that bad.”
“You will stay away from humans, do you understand me.”
Vincent scolded.
“I hate you”
Angel said stubbornly.
“Vince… Calm down.”
Nicolai sighed.
“All supernaturals will be there, Angel… You might find your mate tonight… Focus on that… We will talk about this later.”
Nicolai said looking at Angel.
“Angel, don’t worry about our wedding…”
Serenity came out wearing her dress. It was giving her powerful look. Not like a innocent girl but like a evil queen.
“Focus on yours”
She said making angel blush and run out.
“Take it gently Vincent, she is not aware of everything.”
Serenity looked at him.
“Is this how you going to deal with your child.”
“Kids can be pain in the ass… I had no idea that it will be this difficult”
He sighed.
“You are looking…”
Nicolai walked towards her with passionate eyes.
“Hot…”
Serenity blushed.
“I wish I could say the same.”
She teased and he raised his eyebrows and his brothers laughed.
“You are going to pay for it tonight.”
He warned.
“I was just joking”
She laughed.
“We’ll see if it’s funny or not.”
He challenged.
“I have two more mates to save me”
She said proudly and stood between Vincent and Lucifer.
“We’ll see”
Nicolai nodded his head.
Serenity turned towards Vincent and Lucifer.
“He is planning something isn’t he?…”
She asked panicked.
They nodded at the same time.
“And you know what is he thinking?”
She asked.
They shook their head at the same time.
Serenity gasped when large hand wrapped around her waist. His husky voice send shivers in her spine. Scent was enough to drive her crazy.
“We are brothers… Even if they know, they won’t stop me.”
He swirled her around. There eyes met.
“Because they don’t want me to stop them when they are with you.”
“So you want to bully me, you three and i am one… Not fair…”
She accused.
“We all here know who is a bully…”
Nicolai replied mockingly.
“Yes, we’ll continue this later… Everyone is waiting for us…”
Vincent declared.
They nodded and was about to leave but she stopped them.
“Can you please hug me tightly before we go down…”
She asked.
Hybrids looked at her with concerned.
“Nothing is going to happen… We are there for you.”
Lucifer assured her.
“Please hug me”
She requested.
They hugged her tightly, gave her assuring kisses but it didn’t calm her down. She knows that this might end her everything.
“To kill me, you have to loose everything again…”
She remembered his words again.
She went to the hall with hybrids and celebration started. She can see so many new faces. It took her a minute to block all voices out as she could read everyone’s mind.
There were so much energy and different kinds.
Whole campus was decorated for the anniversary. Students were excited and guests were curious.
But her eyes were searching for that one person.
“Let’s dance”
Nicolai offered.
Serenity went to the dance floor with him.
“I can hear jealous voices”
She smiled at him.
“I can hear it too”
Nicolai chuckled.
“You have so many admirers.”
“I can say the same.”
She raised her eyebrows.
“To be honest, it fuels my ego”
He accepted.
“The woman whom world desires is in my arms…”
“I have three men of same category, how much ego should i have.”
She Smirked.
Nicolai chuckled at her. He handed her to Vincent when he came forward.
“You are looking stunning, love”
Vincent kissed her cheek and swirled her with the music.
“You have said this for 25th time, Vince”
Serenity chuckled.
“And i will say it for million times more… Because that’s what truth is”
He smiled.
“You are looking little tensed, Sera… Is everything okay…”
He asked.
She nodded assured.
“Everything is fine…”
“You don’t have to worry about him… Campus is protected. Angel is with Dad and protectors… Ellen is keeping eye on his movements…”
He informed.
“He will do something, Vince… I am sure he is here, between us. Watching and analysing us…”
Serenity sighed.
“Just like all these things can’t stop me, it won’t stop him either…”
“May I have a beautiful lady now”
Lucifer grabbed their attention.
“Don’t worry… Everything will be fine.”
He kissed her forehead.
“Everything is fina till you are with me.”
Serenity smiled and he handed her to Lucifer.
“What you guys were talking about?”
Lucifer asked.
“Same thing.”
She sighed. And noticed that crowd has turned their attention to some special person who has entered the hall.
“Who is he?”
Serenity asked looking at the tall and build man. Covered in black tuxedo. He is huge but handsome. Power and aura is radiating from him.
“Alpha king, Lorenzo”
Lucifer declared.
“Alpha king?”
She looked at him confused.
“Yes, we are hybrid kings… And sometimes werewolves and vampires thinks that we might take biased decision. It’s common because it’s hard for them to stay peacefully, but they are trying… So we have one Alpha king and one vampire king who will solve their problems for us… They work under us and for us. They have authority of kings until we enter the court…”
Lucifer explained.
“All alphas goes to him and if he couldn’t solve anything, he comes to us.”
“Okay… So they discuss things with you before taking any decision… Because as a king you should be aware of everything.”
She asked.
“Yes… They do.”
He nodded.
“But king Lorenzo is a very good leader. Very powerful werewolf. I am impressed that he won the throne by election, it wasn’t hierarchical…”
“Hmm”
Serenity responded looking at him.
“What happened?”
He is giving me weird vibes.
