Serenity jumped behind Angel and brought her back.
“Are you crazy?”
Serenity scolded.
“Yes, i am crazy… I am going crazy.”
Angel cried.
“I have spent a century in captivity, mom… Why don’t you understand that i want you. I need your love… You can’t hurt me.”
Serenity couldn’t see the pain on her face and finally engulfed her in a hug.
“Don’t cry… You know i love you.”
She Gulped back her tears.
Angel hugged her tightly.
“Please don’t leave me…”
She finally found peace in her mother’s embrace.
“Promise me you will kill him… I want him dead.”
“I promise”
Serenity rubbed her back.
“I am sorry for whatever happened because of me”
Angel said.
“It’s not your fault.”
Serenity assured.
“Don’t blame yourself.”
“Then forgive fathers too…”
She said and serenity broke the hug.
Angel looked at her pleadingly.
“Mom, it’s not their fault… I want my family together.”
Serenity smiled.
“I have to give you your powers…”
“Don’t give me my powers but forgive them.”
She pleaded.
“Some things takes time, Angel… Be patient.”
Serenity sighed.
“Come here and take your powers.”
“Do you hate them, mom?”
Angel asked worried while holding her hands.
“That’s the problem Dear, i can’t hate them… Now keep quiet…”
She said and angel smiled.
“It will hurt but don’t leave my hand…”
Serenity’s eyes glowed as she transferred powers back to angel. Her face turned painful as every cell of her body filled with new energy.
She screamed and tried to step back but serenity didn’t let her break the hold. Yellow light formed around them as they finally finished it.
“Are you okay?”
Serenity asked and she nodded with heavy pants.
“Good, now you can jump from anywhere you want.”
She chuckled.
“What kind of powers i have?”
She asked.
“Tribrid”
Serenity replied.
“Witches powers from me and vampire, werewolf from your fathers… You are my firstborn may be that’s why you became a witch but other than that nothing came to you…”
“I don’t want powers like you… It’s too much to handle”
Angel shrugged.
“I am glad you didn’t get any of it.”
Serenity agreed.
“Let’s go back.”
Serenity entered the campus when it was evening, she saw Arthur sitting in the garden, near magical well.
“Welcome back”
Arthur smiled at her but she noticed the pain behind it.
“After running from your destiny, finally you are back to accept it… Foolish attempt to end yourself.”
He scoffed.
Serenity sat on the ground beside him and leaned against the well compund.
“I am not running from my destiny, Arthur… It’s you!”
She said.
“Why?”
Arthur looked away.
“I don’t have any destination other than you.”
He said firmly.
“I am not your destination, Arthur… We just met on the journey, consoled eachother, loved eachother and had to wonder again for our own destinations…”
She replied.
“I found my destination in hybrids… You know your destination too but you are stopping yourself.”
“They don’t deserve you, Sera.”
He argued.
“Destiny has tied me to them, Arthur… Divine must have thought something about it… It’s not under my control…”
She tried to make him understand.
“I guess you are experiencing it now… How it’s difficult to fight with it.”
She smiled at him.
“I don’t know what are you talking about.”
He mumbled.
“You know what I am talking about… Nothing is hidden from me…”
She looked at him.
“Let it go Arthur… You have finally got your destination after wondering for so long, don’t ignore it… Don’t loose it.”
“You know i can’t forget you.”
He said with extremely painful voice.
“I was your distraction… She is your destiny”
She said gently holding his hand.
“It will be unfair if i go to her when i know that i love you.”
He rubbed his forehead.
“You don’t love me… It’s your stubbornness…”
She said.
“You are here because you think I’ll come to you. You are here to take advantage of our problems.”
“Say whatever you want… I have a hope. And i think you shouldn’t forgive hybrids.”
He shook his head.
“You were dearest to me, Arthur… And i know whatever happened wasn’t your fault. Eliana did everything… I wish good and happy life for you.”
She insisted.
“Ellen is a good girl… She is your mate and deserve your love… Mate is a very strong thing, you will only make it painful for you.”
“You are single… I am single”
He said and she sighed.
“I am not single… I have three mates and one daughter.”
She replied.
“You are not together… Almost been a century.”
He smiled.
“You are still stubborn and crazy.”
She shook her head and stood up.
“Make me believe that you are really happy with hybrids and they will take care of you.”
He said and she stopped.
“Your happiness is the only thing I want… Make me believe and i won’t even look at you.”
“If you see me happy with hybrids, will you forget me?… I can compel you to forget me and love Ellen but it will be unfair to that girl…”
Serenity asked.
“Why do you care about me and my love life?”
He asked while getting up and dusting his clothes.
“Because i care for you, Arthur… I might won’t show but i do and you deserve happiness.”
She smiled and walked away.
Serenity went back to her old room which is just like a small box. She sat on her small bed which hardly fits her.
“Now what?”
She asked herself.
“Sit here like a ghost?…”
“Wow, wonderful room… Isn’t it Lucifer?”
She looked at hybrids as they entered her room and kicked the door close. Nicolai was absent.
“Very nice”
Lucifer said.
“Better than our chamber.”
Serenity rolled her eyes at their mocking tone.
“Ohh, look at this bed… Very comfortable.”
Vincent said smiling.
“Bigger than our bed!”
Lucifer agreed.
Serenity stood up silently and started walking away. She reached the door but couldn’t open it.
“Lucifer i think someone has forgotten that she can’t go away from us…”
Vincent looked at him.
“Yes, how sad… But i am feeling sleepy, man… It’s been a long day.”
Lucifer yawned.
“I need a bed.”
He was about to sit on the bed but serenity make is disappear.
“Leave… Both of you.”
She said in a strict tone.
Lucifer who was sitting in the air got up.
“I am scared.”
He looked at Vincent and laughed.
“I am shaking”
Vincent mocked and serenity rolled her eyes.
“No worries, we’ll sleep on the floor…”
Vincent said grabbing the mat which was hanging on the wall.
“Yes, i don’t mind.”
Lucifer shrugged and they both took off their shirt.
Serenity turned around trying to avoid them. It’s impossible for her to ignore the strong attraction when they are in one small room.
Vincent and Lucifer laid down half naked, resting their heads on their arms.
“Someone is shy”
Vincent Smirked.
“Hmm… Or may be someone can’t control herself.”
Lucifer chuckled.
“I heard someone talking about ‘how strong mate things is’…”
“I want to sleep, will you please leave my room…”
Serenity looked at them and said in calm voice, not wanting to let them judge her.
“Can you sleep without us?”
Vincent asked and chuckled.
Serenity closed her eyes and sighed frustratingly.
“Angel needs me”
She said, thinking they will let her go.
“Nicolai is taking care of her, tonight… She was scared.”
Lucifer answered.
“You can sleep peacefully… She is in safe hands.”
“I want to go”
She looked at him.
Vincent grabbed her hand and pulled her. Serenity fell on his chest with loud gasp.
Vincent quickly rolled her down and caged between him and Lucifer.
“It’s late… Go to sleep.”
He removed hair from her face.
“Unless you want to do something else”
Lucifer placed his hand on her waist and pulled her closer.
