“MOM”
Angel screamed on top of her lungs.
“Please… Please… Please wake up…”
She mourned.
Serenity’s whole body has turned pale, lips white and hair lifeless. She has stopped breathing.
Nicolai is looking at serenity’s pale face continuously. Not even blinking his eyes and waiting for her to open her eyes.
Lucifer is sitting at the foot of bed, holding his head. It’s looking like he has turned into stone.
Vincent refused to let her hand go, he is still holding her hand to his lips.
It’s impossible for them to believe in reality, they don’t want to.
“Sir, what do we do now…”
Ellen asked sadly to principal.
“It’s been 3 days but they are not ready to accept that serenity is no more.”
“Blind believe Ellen… Blind faith”
He shook his head and wiped his wet eyes.
“They think she is healing… She will come back.”
“I don’t have the courage to tell them…”
Ellen said.
“Her breathing has stopped… Her heart is not beating. Body has turned stiff and cold. She is dead… Last time her shield didn’t let me touch her but now I can touch her, there is no shield.”
“They know it… They just don’t want to believe it.”
He sighed.
They heard loud bang on the door.
“Oh god he is here again”
She panicked.
“Make him go Ellen… He will make it worst”
He rubbed his forehead.
Ellen opened the door.
“Arthur… How many times should I tell you that you can’t meet serenity. She taking rest.”
Ellen scolded.
“She can’t take a rest for two fucking days… I haven’t seen her and i am damn sure that she is in danger… I want to meet her, right now!”
He yelled.
“Get out of my way”
He pushed her aside and stormed in.
His froze in her place when he saw the situation.
“SERA!”
His scream echoed in the whole campus. He fell on his knees while crying and mourning for top of his lungs.
His eyes turned red as he shed tears of blood. Anger rose in his whole body.
“Five thousand years!”
He looked at hybrids with murderous glare.
“Five thousand years and no one could take her near to death… My serenity had power to destroy the world… Even Strongest witch in the world couldn’t kill her… Congratulations, Kings…”
He looked at them disgusted.
“Congratulations for killing your mate painfully…”
“Arthur, for god sake stop it”
Ellen yelled at him.
“No!… I am not going to stop today… It’s over all over… They killed her”
He yelled.
“Look around yourself”
He pointed outside the window.
“Look at the nature… Do you see life anywhere, look at that tree… The oldest tree around this campus has become lifeless… Look at flowers, they all died… From two days, dark clouds have made the sky their home… It’s dark everywhere because their protector has left this world…”
He pointed towards hybrids.
“All because of them… Your mother was right, you are monsters… You should have died after birth… You don’t deserve anything, nothing…”
“Please leave, Arthur”
Ellen pleaded.
“You destroyed her… You destroyed everything… You had world but you couldn’t Cherish it… Shame on you…”
He cried.
“Calling yourself king… You don’t deserve that title… You fell for fucking misunderstanding. You destroyed her inside… And your daughter is sitting right here. What did you get from this? Nothing!… All you had to do is trust her, just fucking trust her!”
Hybrids were still the same, quiet and frozen. They didn’t react to his words.
“Yes, don’t leave her dead body… Very good, you can only do this… You didn’t care for her when she was alive.”
He yelled.
“Arthur please… I beg you.”
Ellen cried.
“Please stop… Please leave from here.”
He glared at her.
“Leave?… Do you know for how many centuries i have been with her… Do you have any idea how much it hurts… The only woman I loved in my whole life is lying lifeless in front of me. She is dead…”
His words pierced through her heart.
“My King… We have to perform funeral ceremony… Strong power like her can’t stay like this, it will bring badluck to supernatural world… We must farewell her.”
Principal suggested.
“She will heal…”
Vincent mumbled.
“No one can kill her, she will heal….”
Principal looked at her lifeless body and shook his head.
“Mom!”
Angel cried looking at the flower vase which was beside her bed, flowers in it are completely dried out like someone has taken life out it.
Suddenly Thunder roared in the sky like it’s mourning too. Air started flowing angrily, banging doors and windows. Storm is about to come.
“Ahhh”
Angel screamed when her hair got clutched tightly.
Everyone looked at her.
“Angel?”
Vincent quickly stood up when she got dragged away from them by unknown power.
Nicolai quickly grabbed her leg and pulled her back. She quickly hid behind him.
“He is here…”
She cried.
“Who are you?”
Lucifer yelled.
“Come out and show your fucking face”
“Are you sure you want to see my face, Lucifer?”
The groggy voice boomed in the room.
Black smoke gathered in front of them and slowly it took human shape. Everyone’s eyes widened looking at it.
“Serenity?!”
Ellen gasped.
The shadow who took serenity’s form laughed creepily.
“Yes, darling…”
“No, it’s not mom… He is playing with us…”
Angel yelled while crying.
“Very bad doll… You are breaking my heart, let’s play our games…”
Serenity chuckled looking at her with fake sympathy.
“I thought you love me.”
“Go away”
Angel cried.
“Who the fuck are you?”
Vincent growled.
“Shhh….”
She frowned at him.
“You will wake her up”
She looked at lifeless serenity.
“Look at this pretty woman”
She sat beside her body and caressed her cheek.
“Ohh… I forgot”
She gasped with fake sadness.
“She can’t wake up because she is dead…”
She chuckled and slowly it turned into laugh.
“You can’t wake up”
She kept laughing throwing her head back.
Hybrids were looking at the fake serenity very carefully.
“Ohh my dear aunt…”
She faked the pity.
“Don’t feel bad… You got your karma, it was meant to happen…”
She kissed her hand like a maniac.
“You killed so many innocent people… You killed your brother who was my father… Remember?”
She said and everything flashed before hybrids eyes. He is the son of, Carlos who was serenity’s cousin. He is here to take revenge.
“I am your nephew”
She said with creepy smile.
“Ohh no, don’t take my form seriously… I am a big man.”
She laughed.
“It’s just, i love to become you… You are so beautiful.”
Lucifer clenched his fist and stepped forward with fuming eyes but Ellen stopped him.
“Wait Lucifer… Wait!”
She mumbled.
“But i am very angry at you…”
She pouted.
“You left without a goodbye… I had something to show you”
Her expressions turned hatefull and angry.
“Stones of my father… You turned him into statue and broke it into million of pieces…”
She growled.
“I did everything but couldn’t bring him back to life… You killed my father, because of you i lost my mother… You! You destroyed my everything”
“How dare you?”
Arthur growled and tried to grab her by throat.
But soon he was thrown back.
She laughed loudly.
“You think i am a fool?… I have same powers that serenity had, you don’t stand a chance, low life… If you want to defeat me then you need to bring her back to life and it’s impossible because I killed her… Now no one can stop me.”
She said arrogantly.
“I’ll destroy everything… Let’s start from little one…”
She looked at Angel.
“Come on doll… Let’s play.”
She grinned evilly.
“Dad!”
Angel screamed when she was thrown out of the window.
Hybrids ran behind her, Nicolai caught her mid-air before she hit the ground.
Each and every student came out of their rooms when they heard that scream.
“Stop him… Please”
Angel begged to hybrids.
“Good that everyone is here…”
It turned again in the shadow leaving serenity’s form.
“Today everyone will see, who is capable enough to become a king… Let them see how useless these kings are… Only i deserve that title!”
“Cowards like you can’t even come close to the throne… We don’t hide behind the facade…”
Vincent provoked him.
Slowly that shadow started taking its real form.
“Shit”
Arthur cursed when he saw that face.
