Serenity opened her eyes in the morning, she was feeling weaker than before but better than last night.
She blinked her heavy eyes but her eyes watered when she remembered last night.
She can’t Take her mind off the moment when they stabbed her.
“Sera?”
She heard Nicolai.
“She opened her eyes”
He exclaimed.
He helped her to sit and hugged her tightly.
“You scared me…”
Her eyes fell on the Lucifer and Vincent, they were sitting beside her. Totally in mess.
“Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
He asked checking her wound.
“I am fine”
She answered in groggy voice and placed bedsheet on her bare chest. She sounded upset but her face was blank.
“Sera”
Lucifer called her. He held her hands in his.
“I don’t know what you have seen last night but Arthur told me… It wasn’t me… You know right?… You know I will never do something like this”
His eyes watered.
“It wasn’t just you”
She looked at him with blank eyes but they looked defeated.
“You three did it together…”
She accused.
Brothers frowned.
“No! We didn’t… We were looking for you, Sera. It wasn’t us.”
Vincent said desperately.
“How can you believe that it was us… You know we can’t hurt you.”
“I saw you… You stabbed me. I know your real face now, you don’t have to fake it..”
She mumbled.
“You can kill me if you want, you don’t have to fake it…”
“Seriously?”
Nicolai scowled.
“How can you even believe in it?… It’s ridiculous.”
She sighed and stepped out of the bed while wrapping bedsheet around her body.
Vincent gently grabbed her arm.
“You know we didn’t do it”
“I believe in my eyes… What’s the use of hiding it.”
She replied.
“Confess!… You always wanted to kill me, you said you would have done it if you could… You waited till it was the right time. You thought last night would have been perfect time but unfortunately Arthur saw you… That’s why you are playing this game, you want to show everyone how perfect you are. You are trying to save the woman who betrayed you but in reality it’s completely opposite…”
She said and they looked at her shocked.
“You don’t even have to try… I’ll be dead in few days. But if you want to enjoy killing me then go ahead.”
“It’s not you… I refuse to believe that my serenity will say something like this…”
Vincent said in disbelief.
“You know we can’t do that… We love you”
“Give me proof…”
She demanded.
“I don’t have any but give me some time… I’ll show you. I’ll prove everything to you.”
He replied.
“You won’t get any proof because you know it’s your fault… You did it. And i don’t have much time to give you…”
She smiled bitterly.
“How can you even think like that?”
Nicolai was heartbroken.
“Why not?… Actually i am not surprised… My sister, Arthur, grandmother and not you three… I shouldn’t be surprised…”
She sighed.
“Why are you doing this with us because of your past?”
He questioned madly.
“That what I have learnt from you…”
She replied.
“Can we end this at once… Just kill me and get over it… You will get your satisfaction and i will be free.”
Lucifer grabbed his head and fall back on the bed. He is completely heartbroken. Now he understood how does it feel to be misunderstood by the person you trust the most.
“Why it is so difficult for you to believe us?”
Vincent said defeated.
“Because you stabbed me… Straight in the heart. Thanks for punishing it for its stupidity. It won’t love anyone again.”
She smiled sadly and walked towards the washroom.
“What is happening with us Vincent?”
Lucifer said in disbelief.
“She hates us now…”
“We are innocent… She can’t do this to us.”
Nicolai punched the air.
“I feel angry, sad, broken, betrayed and defeated at the same time… I can’t deal with it.”
Vincent rubbed his face frustratingly.
“So this is how she felt for hundred years.”
Nicolai said and their eyes snapped towards him.
Vincent shook his head.
“We can’tet this happen… We have to solve everything. She needs to know the truth…”
“We need to save her first”
Nicolai said.
“But should we really need to have sex with her when she is so weak, her body is not strong.”
Lucifer asked.
“We don’t have any other choice… We have to mate with her tonight, no matter what… This is our last chance.”
Vincent replied.
Nicolai rubbed his forehead.
“She is going to leave us…”
He said and walked towards the washroom.
Serenity removed the bedsheet from her body. She can smell her blood. They cleaned her body but her hair were still covered in her blood.
She looked at herself in the mirror. Her body was spotless but heart was covered with hundred of scratches.
She didn’t react when Nicolai entered, she stood still.
Nicolai was quiet too, he just filled the bathtub and walked towards her.
“We can continue this after bath…”
He mumbled and picked her up.
He placed her inside the tub and sat on the stool behind her. He gathered her hair together and started washing them.
“You have lost so much blood… Ellen has made potion for you. You will feel better…”
He said.
“I have lost my powers Nicolai… Not my brain”
She replied with closed eyes.
“I know what are you planning”
He closed his eyes and released a sigh.
“We have to do it… We are trying to save you”
“Or may be you just want sex”
She accused and it broke his heart.
“If i want sex then there are infinite options for me, I won’t be tricking you…”
He replied.
“I am not hungry for sex… You will be the last woman for me…”
Serenity gradually opened her eyes as he washed the foam away. She realised that he haven’t touched any other woman all these years.
“Why it’s so easy for you to believe that we can attack you?”
Nicolai couldn’t help but ask her desperately.
“Just like you can believe that, I can kill my daughter”
She replied calmly and Guilt flashed in his eyes.
Serenity stood up and covered her body with robe which wasn’t for her, it was too big for her small body.
Nicolai grabbed towel and started drying her hair.
“They are loosing shine”
He said worried.
“Because they are dying”
She replied.
“Don’t worry, they will be shining again”
He said confidently.
“Good luck with that”
She mocked and walked out.
She saw Lucifer and Vincent sitting on the bed tensed. Lucifer looked at her with sad eyes and her heart broke again.
Suddenly they heard loud knock on the door like someone is beating the door.
Nicolai came out when he heard that.
Vincent quickly hide serenity behind his back protectively and Lucifer opened the door.
Lucifer looked at the girl confused who was standing on his door.
“What do you want?”
He asked irritated. He was already stressed and that unknown girl was beating his door.
That girl looked at him with watery eyes.
“Dad”
She said and Lucifer looked at her stunned.
