WESTLEY
“YOU DON’T HAVE to do this.” It was our twelfth destination in four months’ tour with the Linton private jet. It wasn’t that I was complaining because spending time with Clyve was the best time of my life.
When he asked me for a dinner date during the book signing, I knew it was the first of so many, and who was I to say no when all I could think about was him every time I fell asleep and woke up every morning for weeks.
When I thought he gave up on us, I was wrong. He’d been plotting with Austen the whole time.
“You did not enjoy it, did you?” Pain and disappointment crossed his face.
“Are you kidding me?” I rounded to his side. “For four months, my life with you is perfect. This is what I always wanted, to be with you where ever destination brings us together. I love every second of it, Linton. You know I even enjoyed just lazily cuddling with you on the couch.”
“I just wanna make it up to you.” He closed the gap between us and kissed me on the lips. “And I thought, maybe you could finish writing the sequel.”
I had not told him that I was done writing, and he was about to read it in the cabin. “I promise you will love it. For you, Mr. Linton.” I sighed deeply as his smell assaulted my senses, and my skin tingled with fierce anticipation as his fingertips traveled further on my thigh.
A few months ago, I would have never expected this to happen. If Clyve didn’t visit the cabin, I was probably the same person I was. If our fates weren’t intertwined, though it bound to happen whether I was there and Clyve was at the other part of the world, I might still be that cam girl, the Sindy Kate.
The jet arrived. Keene picked us up from the airport. And what I couldn’t believe was him dating his nurse, and they looked cozy together. He looked great, still on his maintenance, but far way better than before we left for his treatment. I thought love and attention made his recovery quicker.
“Wow! A lot is going on here, mate,” Clyve said with eyes filled with amazement.
The two cabins were the same, but there was a two-story B&B at the center, and there were a few cars parked around, vacationists sitting on my favorite place where I spent my first night with Clyve and Keene.
“The cabins have been busy for days. Yours just vacated yesterday,” Keene said as we followed the guy who brought our luggage to the cabin.
“I’m happy for you, Keene.” I kissed him on the cheek.
“Thanks.” He grinned and stole a glance at Linton. “I’m happy for you two. Maybe you can sign our copy.”
“I can’t believe you bought another copy. I already sent you one with my autograph, silly. I’ll sign it later, okay?”

“GOOD TO BE back.” The cabin still looked and smelled the same; the finest wooden scent and the ambiance, and this was where I wanted where I had so many memories here in just a few days, and this was where my life had utterly changed.
Maybe one of the reasons why Clyve brought me back to this place was because this place was special for us.
I threw myself to the bed while Clyve was propping his hands on his narrow hips. Every time I looked at him, I couldn’t help but be grateful for how lucky I was to have a man like him who always made me his top priority.
Since we get back together, he never missed making me feel loved and never missed a day without telling me how much he loved me. And, god, I loved him more than the word love itself. And there was nothing a better gift to yourself than having someone who loved you back despite your dark pasts and flaws.
“Don’t look at me like that.”
“Then I should blindfold myself.”
“What a pretty damn good idea.” He crawled up to the bed and settled on top of me. “I still remember the first time I kissed you and made love with you in this bed. I thought that was the best decision I ever made. Sleeping with you and being inside you was the best feeling in the world.”
Our lips met together, but his lips were immobile. “Our first kiss was not here.”
Then he sighed into our lips. “I know, but it always feels like the first time. I love you so much, Westley.”
“Same.”
He broke the kiss, and I could feel he was staring at me which had my breathing held. When I opened my eyes, we looked at each other in silent conversation for a few seconds, reading each other through our souls.
“Look up.”
I did as he told me, and I thought that was the most exquisite item I’d ever seen. How come I didn’t notice it when I entered? Wow! The image of me naked in bed, asleep, in this same bed, the same, and the very first night where we shared our desires and emotions. I was exposed, even the piercing on my nipple stood up, yet it didn’t look intrusive.
It was perfect.
I could feel every emotion, hard work, and sweat he put into it because it was perfectly and beautifully created like those Renaissance arts. His masterpiece rendered me speechless.
“It meant to be for our eyes only. The most priceless art I’ve ever had, and I wanna share it with you.”
I couldn’t take my eyes off of his painting, given that it was me in there, and said breathlessly, “I’m honored.”
“The honor is mine, Westley.” He looked me in the eye, and I could see the brewing emotions in there. I loved everything about this man, but what I loved the most about him was that he never concealed how he felt about me and everything. “I’d like to make us official. Official.” What’s that supposed to mean? “Marry me, Harriet Audene Westley Bloom.”
“God, I love you so much more, Clyve Clifford Linton.”
