As the waves circulated around them, Mia could feel Lin’s hand slide behind her as he cried inconsolably. Mia had always seen Lin face calamities head on. He was her rock. Even when the initial phases of the curse was evoked, Lin was the one giving Mia some hope. He had seemed like he had the key to every door. But now that the strong wall he had been hiding behind crumbled, Mia could see how vulnerable he was. He had put up a very believe able act of resilience. But it seemed he had been hurting as well. It was far different than what Mia had done to push him away. But how could she. How could she bare. She knew she did it to protect him and their child. She knew she did it to hide what she had to do for them. But seeing Lin like that in front of her, shattered in pain, her heart coiled simply at the thought of how she would every again be able to stay apart from him. At that moment she didn’t want to think about pain. Nor the past nor the future, just live in the present. At the moment she had her world in front. Her heart could be at rest.
She guided Lin’s hands under her leathery garment. Lin looked at her with eyes that still ached.
” What is it Mia? Does it hurt? ” He kneeled higher as she glided his hand round her skin.
“Ssshhhhh, ” Mia whispered in Lin’s ears. She bent over then picked him up from his knees. She let him hover his hands around her as she pushed him further and further back. Lin looked at her eyes. She had them burning. Lin travels her chin with his warm lips up till the back of her head. He held her hair with one hand and ripped her sleeve with his teeth.
As Mia gave out a loud mourn of ecstasy he smiled some more. He kissed her collar bones and pushed his hands upto her breasts. He licked the prominent curves of her cleavage as she grabbed his hair and pressed. Lin took the signal well and good and wasted no time to pull her face. He jerked her mouth open and showered it with his moist kiss. He went in and out drinking every drop he had. Tangling Mia’s long red hair as he forgot that be was ever sad. Mia could feel the heart rise from her core to her head. She could feel him pressing against her as his muscles slowly hardened. Mia held tight onto his collar as she gasped for air. But the heat was too warm to push Lin away. She bit his perfectly chiseled upper lips and chewed the lower instead. Lin too kept the rhythm going as he dug deeper and deeper on her flesh. Lin let go of his one hand and slid it right upto Mia’s back. His route was the side of the sleeve which he had ripped apart. He grabbed Mia’s soft bottom in his hand and presses as he pushed over her dress a little hard.
Mia was visibly begging him for more as her chest went up and down and both their ears turned red. Lin traced the edge of the other sleeve, just ready let it go.
” The queen welcomes young master Lin, from the fox clan. ” A sturdy middle aged mer-witch stood at their gate.
” Ah! What? Who? Fox clan. Oh yeah. That’s me. I’m from the fox clan. ” Lin and Mia immediately broke off as they started shaking at their knee. Mia looked the other way as she crossed her legs and held onto the wall to brace herself. Lin was uncomfortably twisting his torso and giving out random guess. His eyee, Mia noticed were going wild again. They were turning every colour that she could ever name. Mia smiled, a deep smile of satisfaction as she remembered the last time that it did. It was when Mia had first met him. Standing with a sword unsheathed. Dripping in blood and grime. He had just sliced a wild bore in half to save her. She had seen his eyes dance to a different colour every second as he had given his hand to pick her up. Even though the bore was long dead, he was reluctant to let go of her. Mia smiled once again , quite pleased with herself that she still had the same effect on him as she used to have.
” Yes. You. The queen asked for your audience. I am here to escort the two of you to the palace. ” The grumpy mermaid let out.
” Yeah. Sure I should have paid her a visit right after I entered her land. ” Lin said finally standing upright as his head cleared from the haze. He went up to Mia and tied the end of the torn sleeve tight and secure. He then slid his hands in hers and said, ” Shall we? ”
And Mia happily nodded, ” Let’s go. ”
As they floated toward in a effortless glide, everything around Mia started to take a pace back. Her gaze fixed on his lips, still red from her bite. The mer- land swimming backwards as they kept going. The guide infront evaporating as she could feel the heat from their hands radiating.
Mia thought she would if she could stop time stop everything and be just them, just like that for their entire life.
” It will be alright Mia. It will. ” Lin held onto her tighter as if he was able to read her mind. But she didn’t mind as long as it was him. She could be an open book or even a pen. She would rewrite the words of destiny if ever she needed to. She had to keep them safe, she thought touching her core and then looking up at her hand. She would keep them safe but this time she would take all that she had.
