Chapter 58

Book:Romance With The CEO Published:2024-6-2

“Hello, Boy. I hope you have good news today.”
Boy remained silent. Instead of immediately responding to Ricardo’s words, he stared directly at Neil.
Damn it! Bastard! You son of a bitch!
Curses filled Boy’s mind. His pride was shattered, and he was humiliated by Neil.
Boy clenched his jaw. Swear words trembled on his tongue, demanding to be spoken. Unfortunately, Neil’s hand movements made him restrain himself.
Neil pushed the phone closer to Boy, urging him without saying a word.
“Boy? Hello, Boy? Are you there, Boy? Why are you silent?”
Boy took a breath, but it was not relief that he felt. The air seemed hot, burning his nostrils.
“Boy! Answer me! Damn you, Boy!”
Neil tilted his head slightly. His expressionless face seemed to be delivering a final verdict to Boy.
“Sir.”
“Oh my God, Boy! What’s going on? Why did you contact me tonight? I hope you really have good news.”
Boy’s gaze did not shift from Neil’s eyes, even when he answered the question.
“I have carried out the orders you gave, sir.”
“What?! The orders I gave? What do you mean? Which orders?”
“Velia,” Boy quickly replied. “I have done it.”
“Damn you, Boy! Why didn’t you inform me earlier? So how is she? Is she fine? No injuries?”
Neil continued to stare at Boy without blinking. His eyes no longer conveyed a warning but a threat.
“She’s fine, Sir. Just as you instructed. Without a single scratch.”
“Good! Good! Where is she now? I happen to be outside, so I’ll go there immediately.”
Ricardo’s voice was hurried. Even his breaths were audible.
“She’s with me now. At my safe house.”
“Where is that?”
“I’ll send you the location.”
“Alright. I’ll wait, Boy. Send me the location right away, and I’ll head there.”
The call ended. Neil hung up and sent the location to Ricardo. Then he put away the phone.
Neil stood up, revealing a folding knife that seemed to appear out of nowhere.
The folding knife spun in Neil’s hand, making Boy’s chest rise and fall restlessly. However, he did not show the slightest hint of fear.
Neil moved around Boy, who was already drenched in sweat. His steps stopped right behind Boy, and the knife moved.
Boy held his breath. Without looking back, he could clearly feel the cold blade of the knife moving against his neck.
Boy tensed, anticipating every possible move Neil could make. But what happened next was his restraints loosened.
Boy’s hands were free. He repeatedly felt his wrists before removing the restraints on his legs. When he was completely free, Neil was standing in front of him.
“You can choose between me and Carter.”
Boy stood up. “I’ve helped you, damn it!”
A thin smirk appeared on Neil’s cold face. He looked at Boy with a blank expression.
“Unfortunately, I never promised to let you go just like that.”
Emotionless voice. Not a trace of emotion. Neil succeeded in making Boy clench his jaw.
“I was just following Ricardo’s damn orders, and I lured him here!”
Boy was not foolish. Both Carter and Neil were equally dangerous choices. He could tell that neither of them was an ordinary person. Pretending to be careless and then turning the tables and incapacitating them was not as easy as it sounded.
“Sorry, Boy,” Neil said calmly. “You can say that we are also just following the orders of our employer. You’re just unlucky because Ricardo’s orders have put you in a confrontation with us.”
The situation was indeed unfavorable for Boy. He had no choice but to fight one of them.
Boy quickly glanced at Carter. He looked younger than Neil and was smiling.
“This time, I promise. If you can get past one of us, then you’re truly free. No grudges in the future because we’re all just hired guns.”
Boy looked at Neil with anger in his eyes. He stood his ground and prepared himself. His anger was truly boiling, and he shouted fiercely, just before his fist flew towards Velia’s driver.

“Whose call is it, Dad?” Angel asked as Ricardo quickly removed his hands from her naked body. He got up and grabbed a pair of pants from the floor.
Intending to put on his pants, Ricardo felt Angel’s kiss land on his waist. He instinctively moaned and turned his body.
Angel blinked once, giving him a seductive look as she crawled naked on the bed.
Ricardo succumbed to Angel’s temptation. He ran his fingers through her hair and jerked it back, forcing her to look up.
“Forgive me, Angel,” Ricardo reluctantly pleaded. His gaze swept over her beautiful face with a hint of regret. “I have other urgent matters to attend to.”
Ricardo sealed his apology with a deep kiss on Angel’s red lips. He groaned. Pleasure echoed in Ricardo’s chest, especially when Angel’s fingers caressed his flaccid masculinity.
“I will be leaving for a while. Did I already pay for the entire night?”
Ricardo grinned. “No worries. Consider it a bonus for this,” he said, patting Angel’s buttocks. “Next week, I’ll be back.”
Angel sat up, smiling playfully as she squeezed her breasts and teased him with her tongue.
“Angel will provide extra service for you next week, Daddy.”
Ricardo burst into laughter and began to dress. It did not take him long to get ready, and he immediately drove his car to the location provided by Boy.
“Oh, Velia. Finally!”
Ricardo repeatedly wet his lips with his tongue. He was so thrilled that he occasionally hit the steering wheel.
“Finally!”
Ricardo burst into laughter. Impatience surged and boiled within him.
“I don’t care whose mistress she is now,” Ricardo said with a lecherous grin. “What matters is that her body is still enticing.”
Ricardo’s laughter grew louder. It echoed throughout the car as he sped along at high speed.
“If she has indeed become someone’s mistress, then she must be skilled at satisfying men by now.”
Erotic fantasies filled Ricardo’s mind, resulting in an immediate throbbing sensation down below.
Ricardo groped his crotch. The tingling of desire began to show signs, making him even more impatient.
“I can’t wait any longer to feel Velia’s beautiful body.”
Ricardo’s car entered a secluded area. The road was narrow, causing him some difficulty. It was dark all around, with only tall trees, the sounds of nocturnal animals, chilly wind, and a dark sky.
Ricardo squinted as he saw a dim light. He was slightly unsure if that was his destination, but unfortunately, there were no other buildings around.
“Oh my God! What kind of house is that?” Ricardo asked dismissively as he continued to drive. “It looks scary. Should I bring Velia out of there? Or should I ravish her there?”
The car came to a halt. Ricardo quickly got out and knocked on the door while calling softly.
“Boy, it’s me. Boy.”
The wooden door creaked open. Ricardo furrowed his brow in the dim lighting.
A stranger’s face appeared. He seemed friendly, although his white shirt was stained with red spots.
“Forgive my somewhat messy appearance, Sir. I had some business to attend to.”
Ricardo did not consider the condition important. He spoke.
“I’m looking for Boy.”
“Ah, looking for Boy,” the man murmured warmly and could guess where Ricardo’s gaze was directed. He wiped his shirt briefly.
Ricardo nodded indifferently. “Where is Boy?”
“He’s inside. Please come in, sir. It seems he’s been tired taking care of a woman.”
That must be Velia.
A delighted smile bloomed on Ricardo’s face. His eyes sparkled.
I’m here, my Velia.
“Please, Sir.”
Ricardo entered while wiping his sweaty hands. He passed through an empty room and continued until he reached another room that seemed more spacious. Unfortunately, it appeared messy.
Should I enjoy Velia’s beautiful body in a place like this?
Ricardo would consider that later. Right now, there was something more important that made him scan the surroundings. He called out half-shouting.
“Boy! Where are you?”
“There!”
Ricardo jumped. It was not Boy’s voice but rather the voice of another unfamiliar man, whom he did not recognize. Ricardo narrowed his eyes, trying to see the figure sitting across from him. This man was dressed in all black attire, unlike the man who had opened the door.
Something strange caught Ricardo’s attention. It was something he did not know, and it took him a few seconds to ignore the piercing gaze.
“Where did you say Boy was?” Ricardo asked.
The man raised his hand, pointing to a spot across the room, and Ricardo immediately followed the direction.
A figure lay on the floor, motionless in a prone position.
An uneasy feeling arose. Ricardo looked back at the man. Ricardo received a nod, as if confirming that it was indeed the person he was looking for.
His body tensed. His legs trembled. Reluctantly, Ricardo approached the body.
Ricardo suppressed the unsettling feeling that engulfed him. He knelt down and turned the body over. Instantly, his eyes widened in disbelief.
“B-Boy.”
It was Boy. It was the person Ricardo wanted to meet. Unfortunately, they would never truly meet.
Boy’s eyes opened, devoid of life. They stared blankly, in a pitiful state.
His nose was broken, blood scattered, some dried on his face while some flowed from his mouth.
Trembling, Ricardo revolted. His mind was pulled back a few minutes ago.
“Forgive my somewhat messy appearance, Sir. I had some business to attend to.”
The man in the white shirt with red stains. It was blood.
Ricardo’s discomfort turned quickly into horror. Coldness spread through his entire body. He stood, fearful, and looked at the two men.
They were like light and dark. One black, the other white. Cold faces without expression, while the other smiled warmly.
“Who are you?” Ricardo’s voice trembled. His saliva swallowed hard, and sweat poured down, drenching his body in an instant.
“Ah, sorry. We were rude. We should have introduced ourselves first,” said the man in the white shirt. “I’m Carter, and this is Neil.”
Ricardo swallowed his saliva as he thought. “I-I don’t know you.”
“That’s right.”
“I-I have no connection with Boy at all.”
Ricardo spoke quickly, clearly not wanting to take any risks. Unfortunately, it was futile.
Neil snickered. He smirked but did not laugh. Only Carter laughed as he leaned against the wall.
“So, why did you come here if you have no connection with Boy?” Carter asked amusingly. “Didn’t you say you wanted to meet Boy?”
Ricardo blinked. Sweat entered his eyes, causing a stinging sensation.
“I-I just hired Boy’s services. Nothing more. Our relationship is purely transactional. So, I’ll leave.”
Ricardo gathered his courage and forced his legs to move. He walked without daring to look at Carter and Neil.
Ricardo’s steps were blocked. Carter intercepted him, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Don’t you know? Boy ended up like this because he provided his services to you.”
Ricardo’s eyes widened. “W-What do you mean?”
“You hired Boy to interfere with our work.”
Panic seized Ricardo. He truly disliked the terrifying aura behind Carter’s smile. Something in that smile filled him with half-dead terror.
“W-Who paid you?”
Desperation loomed. The only option that crossed Ricardo’s mind was to offer something in exchange for his safety.
“How much did he pay you? I’ll pay you twice as much, but let me go. I promise I’ll pay you twice as much!”
Laughter echoed. Not from Carter, but from Neil. The one who had been calm and seemingly emotionless showed an uncontrollable expression of amusement.
“Twice as much as Lucas paid us?” Neil asked, snickering dismissively. “Are you capable of that?”
Ricardo was taken aback. “What did you say? Lucas? Who do you mean?”
“How many Lucases do you know, Ricardo?”
Carter’s question furrowed Ricardo’s brow. He tried to remember.
“L-Lucas?” Ricardo murmured; his voice barely audible due to the torment that had gripped his lungs. He was suffocating under the chilling sensation. “Lucas Hernandez?”
In response, Carter delivered a punch to Ricardo’s stomach. He fell to the floor, his body curling in pain.
A groan escaped him. But not for long. Ricardo lost consciousness.
