Ashton has led away to the special cell ‘made specifically for him’. He did not know what was in those handcuffs, but whatever it was, it was draining the life out of him.
Every passing minute felt like a century to him as he felt the life force in him drain out one bit after the other.
“What did you use to prepare this handcuff?” Ashton asked the person leading him with much difficulty. He felt that he could not breathe well after uttering that one sentence. Every step he took left him feeling like he was carrying one thousand tons of load on his shoulder.
The guard looked at him sympathetically and said nothing. He had been instructed to look after Ashton and they were not allowed to talk to prisoners. Although he wished to help, there was no way he could go against his alpha’s orders.
Though in reality he actually had no idea what it was. But he knew that the more it stayed on Ashton’s body, the more it will be hard for him to ever wolf out. The person had said that after twenty-four hours, Ashton would be as good as dead.
The handcuffs had been concocted with some kind of drug mixed with Ashton’s blood that targeted his inner wolf. It was supposed to weaken his wolf so much that it will fall into a deep slumber and Ashton will never be able to bring it out again. If the handcuffs stayed on him longer, he might lose his life.
Although Ashton and his wolf Adams were weak, Ashton still felt some resistance from Adams. Adams was trying to resist whatever was trying to drain his life out of him as he struggled inside Ashton.
“What is it, Adams?” Ashton asked.
“Where are we?” Adams asked.
“In some kind of cell. I guess it is filled with mountain ash!” Ashton said. The guard who had brought him only pushed him into the cell from a distance. He then used some special switch to close the door.
Mountain Ash was a special substance that could be used to trap wolves. Any wolf that was trapped using the mountain ash would never break free because the moment they tried, they will feel like every born in their body had been electrocuted.
“What are you wearing on your hands?” Adams asked.
“Some kind of handcuff. I have never seen something like this before. I can feel that my life is reducing with every breath that I take.” Ashton said.
“Me too. I can feel myself getting weaker and weaker. I don’t know how long I will be able to hold on.” Adams said.
“We have to hold on. We are not dying here today.” Ashton said to his wolf.
“I have a feeling that your brother doesn’t want you dead, instead he wants me dead. He wants to make you human so that he can humiliate you crazily. Imagine if someone who was an alpha became human without the protection of his wolf, won’t he be trampled on by everybody.” Adams said.
“Depending on how I am feeling, we only have twenty-four hours left to live. I think that he wants both of us dead.” Ashton said.
“He wants the pack to see that you are nothing but a failure. He wants to turn you into something that you will hate for the rest of your life.” Adams said.
“There is no way I am going to let that happen. Besides we are the same. If you die, I die too. Who is going to take care of Maya? There is no way we are going to die.” Ashton said.
“I don’t know if you can protect us anymore Ashton, I can’t feel the life in me anymore,” Adams said and just like that, he became silent.
No matter what Ashton called out in his mind, Adams did not respond.
“A. D. A. M. S.” Ashton gave out a painful cry.
Maya who was being led to Kelly’s room felt Ashton’s cry. Even Kelly felt it and his heart shook for a moment. It was deep and dangerous as if it was coming from the deepest part of hell.
But Kelly smiled after coming to an understanding. He was not sure if what he had prepared would work against his brother, but hearing his painful cry, he knew that they had succeeded. Now he will have as much fun as he wants with the little woman.
With his brother falling apart, he will be like a puppet and he will enjoy toying with him.
“You have heard that, right? Your only support is about to die. I will see how arrogant you can be.” Kelly said.
“There is no way Ashton is dying. He is way too strong and powerful than you ever imagined.” Maya said.
“Of course, he is not going to die yet. If I am right, his wolf has already succumbed, as for Ashton, he only has twenty-four hours to live. I am pretty sure that we will have a lot of fun in those twenty-four hours.” Kelly said. “As for now, I want you to please me as much as you can. Make me feel how my brother always feels when he is under you.”
“In your dreams!” Maya said.
“Don’t you dare go against me? I can promise you that you won’t like what I will do to you.” Kelly warned. “Don’t forget, I’m your alpha now.”
“You are not my alpha and you will never be!” Maya said. She was not afraid of him as she had already thought of the perfect plan to deal with this hooligan.
“Bitch!” Kelly said as he pushed open his bedroom door and immediately threw Maya on the bed. “I am going to teach you a lesson you will never forget.”
“Come on, I am not afraid of you,” Maya said fearlessly.
Kelly was angered and moved over swiftly. Just as he was about to pounce on Maya, she stretched out her hand and aimed it at Kelly’s manhood. Kelly, who had been excited just a moment ago and moving at a quick pace, stopped in his tracks.
He also felt that his excited willy suddenly deflate like a balloon and the heat that had already risen in his body vanished.
“What are you doing? What is wrong with me? Why can’t I move?” Kelly asked as he looked at Maya.
“See, I can make you never desire a woman in a heartbeat. Although you think that you have won, you have unfortunately messed with the wrong people. It is not too late for you to turn back if you still want to have some fun.” Maya said.
“In your dreams. Stop scaring me. What can you do about me? As for Ashton, you can forget about saving him. The place where I have imprisoned him is filled with mountain ash. You can’t go in even if you wanted to.” Kelly said.
“We will see about that. For the time being, I’m sorry….” After Maya finished speaking, she made Kelly stand like a statue. He could neither speak nor talk.
It was the same with everyone in the house. Maya seemed to have stopped time as she followed Ashton’s scent.
When she found him, Ashton was lying on the ground and groaning. Maya did not care about the mountain ash or whatever ash it was and immediately used her magic to open the cell door.
