In the ward, old Mr. Anderson was lying on the hospital bed. His face was pale, but when he saw Aaron walk in, he gathered some strength.
“Aaron.”
Old Mr. Anderson said and was about to get up, but was held down by Jacqueline.
“Dad, just don’t get up, your health is important.”
Jacqueline looked at Aaron and complained a little, “What took you so long?”
“I got held up,” Aaron said, then looked at his grandpa who looked better, “How are you feeling, Grandpa?”
“Duh!”
A disdainful voice came from the corner, “Crocodile tears.”
The voice was very low, but it was still heard by Aaron. He glanced coldly at the owner of the voice, Hancock, with a pair of eyes soaked in coldness.
Hancock was not afraid in the slightest and looked into that pair of eyes.
Aaron withdraw his gaze and smiled, “I’m so relieved that Grandpa is okay.”
Old Mr. Anderson looked at his favorite grandson and said, “Aaron, how’s your health these days? Did it get better yet?”
Aaron, “I’m still the same, don’t worry about me, Grandpa.”
“How can I not worry about you?”
Old Mr. Anderson began to cough and Jacqueline hurriedly patted his back.
As the first heir of the Anderson family, Aaron had always been ill. If not for the fact that the company he assigned to Aaron was managed quite well, it would have been divided up by others.
Jacqueline comforted old Mr. Anderson, “Dad, hasn’t his body always been like this? He’s just like the invincible Jack Bauer, so don’t worry about him.”
“That’s right, Grandpa, you should not worry about big brother,” Hancock sounded ambiguous, “I think he’s doing great.”
Aaron began to cough, his handsome face was very pale, looking sick and pitiful.
Jacqueline couldn’t help but say, “Son, why don’t you go back.”
Old Mr. Anderson also agreed. But Hancock was not happy to hear that and wanted to say something, but was stopped by old Mr. Anderson’s eyes. He had to shut up and go flirting with girls on the phone.
“Grandpa, I’m very aware of my current situation, you don’t have to worry about it.” Aaron smiled and said, “I’m idle in the next few days, so I’ll be here to take care of Grandpa.”
Old Mr. Anderson reluctantly agreed to that and brought up another matter, “Your mother said that your fiancée is quite nice?”
The smile on Aaron’s face was getting bigger.
“Yes, she’s pretty good.”
“Then you should abduct her… well, marry her as early as possible. The entire family will be nice to her.”
“Everything is at Grandpa’s disposal.”

In the Phantom Court.
Vanessa did not forget what Aaron said and began to think seriously about it once she got home.
He said he liked her and his heart was pleased with her.
He said his eyes glowed when he liked her, like the stars in the sky.
But Vanessa did not understand.
She sighed silently, lifted her little face, and continued to think.
Suddenly, her eyes lit up.
That’s it.
How could she forget what was left by her master!
She rushed back to her bedroom, opened the drawer, and looked through a somewhat old-looking diary.
Her master once said that if there’s something she didn’t understand, she could come to this diary and there would be answers in it.
Vanessa carefully opened the diary and started reading from the first page.
Soon, she found her name inside.
“Vanessa, I’m so relieved that I finally waited for you to open this diary.”
Vanessa’s heartbeat seemed to have suddenly missed a beat.
She pursed her lips.
Her master knew she would come to open this diary?
