Chapter 55 Keep An Appointment

Book:Billionaire Wants To Get Married Published:2024-6-2

Vanessa sipped fish soup and then raised her head to look at him, “He is my fiancé.”
“It doesn’t seem to be appropriate if I don’t go.”
“He and I are going to get married in the future.”
Vanessa said calmly as if talking about something insignificant.
Felton can’t do anything about her and sighed.
Silly girl!
Right now she didn’t even understand what feelings were.
Whether it was meeting her fiancé or getting married, she took it as a task, as if there were no feelings inside her.
This marriage was settled by the parents of two families.
It was good if the guy was good to her, but if not…
Felton’s eyes turned stern.
Felton liked to dote on Vanessa, “Then we’ll go to the Anderson family on the weekend, okay?”
“Okay.”
Vanessa finished the last bite of fish, wiped her mouth, and agreed.
On the weekend, in the Anderson Mansion.
Vanessa was ready to go after breakfast.
“Where are you headed?” Sebastian scowled at Vanessa, who was heading out after eating, frowned, and reprimanded unhappily, “Do some reading at home on the weekends, don’t always think about running away.”
Queenie sat beside them and gloated.
Felton sounded unpleasant, “Dad, Vanessa is headed to the Anderson Mansion. The Anderson couple wants to see her.”
Queenie’s hand that was holding the bread paused, and the smile on Elise’s face also froze.
Sebastian only then remembered this, but he did not feel the least bit bad about what he said before.
He surveyed the clothes Vanessa was wearing and said in a discontent tone, “Is this what you wear when you go to the Anderson Mansion? Don’t disgrace my name, go back and change your clothes!”
Vanessa looked down at the long linen gray dress she was wearing, not dirty and not wrinkled.
“I won’t.”
Sebastian was so angry that he slammed the bowl, “Do you still have me as your father in your eyes?”
Felton chipped in, “I think it looks quite well.”
Elise then said gently, sounding like standing for Vanessa, “Just listen to your Dad and don’t make him angry.”
Queenie echoed, “Yeah, look at what you’re wearing! Not at all decent!”
“Queenie,” Felton sank his face, “Watch your tone!”
Queenie then cast pitiful eyes on Sebastian.
Sebastian coughed and ordered, “Queenie is right, go change your clothes.”
Felton still wanted to say something but was interrupted by Vanessa.
“Fine, I’ll go change.”
She was doing it for the sake of Felton. It’s just a change of clothes, and Vanessa clearly didn’t care about it.
In Felton’s eyes, however, his heart ached for his sister, who had been stranded in the countryside for years.
Vanessa went upstairs to change clothes.
Felton also found an excuse to leave the table.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Queenie said to Sebastian, “Dad, let me go with my sister.”
Sebastian frowned, “It’s not appropriate.”
Queenie pleaded, “Just let me go. If my sister says something wrong or does something wrong, I can also remedy it, right?”
Sebastian thought Queenie made a point.
Vanessa was so indifferent. If she did something wrong in the Anderson family and the engagement broke off because of it, then it would be terrible.
Queenie was lovely and clever and could help a little by then.
“Go. Watch your sister and don’t let her make mistakes.” Sebastian said.
Queenie pouted, “But my sister will certainly not let me go.”
Sebastian pondered for a while, “I’ll send a car to take you there after she leaves.”
“Dad’s the best!”
Queenie replied happily and ran upstairs to change her clothes.
Vanessa and Queenie arrived at the Anderson Mansion almost at the same time.
“Vanessa!” Queenie called Vanessa.
Vanessa turned back, looked at Queenie, and then looked at herself.
Queenie didn’t look so happy.
Her dress clashed with that little bitch!
They wore the same long white dress, the only difference was that Vanessa’s dress was simple and elegant, while Queenie’s was decorated with lace edges and pearls, which was cumbersome.
Vanessa asked lightly, “Why are you here?”
