Chapter 24 Grassland

Book:Billionaire Wants To Get Married Published:2024-6-2

“Besides, you”d be lucky to marry the daughter of the Taylor family, wouldn’t it?”
Elise advised Felton as an elder. It sounded like she was really thinking of him, but her condescending and commanding tone really made him uncomfortable.
Vanessa stood by the corner, and her mouth hooked up a sneer.
Mrs. Elise was really good at scheming.
Felton pursed his lips, his face was cloudy.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t want that kind of luck. Why don’t you just marry her since she’s so perfect?”
“You! Is this how you talk to your mother?”
Elise was so angry that she pointed at Felton and was about to scold him.
Felton glanced at her lightly, “Whatever, but I’m gonna tell you guys that there’s no way I will marry someone I don’t even know. As for Simmons Group, I will try to run it, I don’t need to rely on anyone! I won’t admit this engagement, and as for the Taylor family, whoever settled this matter, go to fix it.”
He had been too kind to everyone in this family, too kind to Elise, causing her to dare to speak to him so forcefully today!
After saying these words, Felton turned around and went upstairs.
Elise then pointed at Felton’s back very angrily and said discontentedly to Sebastian, “You see, this is your son! That’s the way he speaking to me!”
Sebastian rubbed his eyebrow and felt a bit of headache, “Enough! You’re his mother, can’t you be more understanding? Stay out of this, I will handle it.”
Since Felton had already left, and there was no point for Vanessa to stay here. So she walked upstairs while playing on her phone.
She quickly sent a text message to Edgar, “Dig out some secrets from Yvette Taylor.”
Although Edgar, who received the text message, did not know why his boss suddenly wanted to check such an unimportant woman, he still obediently finished checking and sent the information to Vanessa.
Ten minutes later, Vanessa sat on the couch in her room looking at the document sent by Edgar.
The document had a total of ten pages, but at a cursory glance, she found that nine of them were actually Yvette’s love history.
And until now, Yvette still had four boyfriends at the same time!
One was a college friend, one was a lawyer, one was a foreigner, and one was a rich kid.
“Interesting…”
In the end, Vanessa couldn’t help but let out a sigh of admiration.
This woman was complicated, and so not of her brother’s type.
If Vanessa really married Yvette, she’s afraid he would have married a woman who would cuckold him every day.
Never mind, she would just fix it for Felton.
Early the next morning, Felton sent Vanessa to school to enroll.
Felton seemed to be still immersed in last night’s events, his face didn’t look well, and the whole carriage was shrouded in low pressure.
Vanessa sat beside him and suddenly popped out a sentence,
“Why don’t you want to marry Yvette?”
Felton obviously froze for a moment, thought about it but still stated his thoughts, “I think that marriage can not only be built on the interests because the marriage composed of interests can only be considered a transaction. The one I marry must be the person I love and the person who loves me. Only mutual understanding, mutual attraction and mutual love can lead to a life-long marriage, right?”
However, Vanessa was silent.
She didn’t know what marriage meant and didn’t understand the love and profound feelings he was talking about.
For her, marriage was just a promise to her master.
But since Felton wasn’t willing to accept it, he must have his own reasons.
Vanessa closed her eyes to take a nap, “Don’t worry, no one can force you if you don’t want to.”
