Eira woke up on the empty bed, xavion was not beside her. She sat up with much struggle as the pain worsen in her abdomen. She tried to stand but a strong Labor contraction passed in her abdomen and she Yelp in pain. Listening her voice xavion ran out of the bathroom, he had Towel wrapped around his waist.
“What happened are you okay?…”
He held her by arms and made her sit on the bed.
“Leave me”
She jerked her hands back, her blood was boiling in anger by looking at the chains around her ankle. She tried to open them last night but he was right it’s of no use.
Xavion sighed.
“Fine… I’ll prepare bath for you…”
“I don’t want anything from you… Leave me alone…”
She yelled Angrily.
“I am trying to help you, why don’t you understand…”
Xavion countered.
“If you want to help me then let me go…”
She spat, gritting her teeth.
Xavion rolled his eyes and walked towards the closet. He sighed when he heard her throwing the lamp on the floor. She was breaking everything in her reach from the last night but he wasn’t complaining, afterall she was taking her anger out.
Xavion went down and get the breakfast for her. He was sure that she won’t eat it from his hand but this time he wasn’t giving up.
When he entered the room he saw her sitting on the bed. She has tied her hair in a bun and few wet strands were hanging out which indicates that she has brushed her teeth and wash her face.
“If you think I will eat then don’t even bother to try… I am not eating anything until this is out of my leg…”
She glared at him.
Xavion dragged the side table closer to bed and sat in front of her. Eira was about to throw the plate which was kept on the table but xavion was quick to catch her hands.
“And if you think I’ll let you stay hungry then you are in delusion, baby…”
He held her hands firmly.
“If you don’t want me to tie your hands and feed you forcefully then be a good girl and eat…”
Eira scowled and looked away stubbornly. Xavion closed her eyes frustratingly and held her wrist in his one hands. Eira struggled but he forcefully shoved the spoon in her mouth making her eat.
“Fine leave me…”
She yelled and he let her go.
She took the plate and started eating by her own hands. She finished half plate and it fell down from her hands when again contraction hit her. She screamed holding her stomach and xavion held her hand concerned.
“Labor pain?…”
He asked and she nodded gasping for air.
Eira clutched on his wrist and screamed again.
“It’s hurting… I can’t handle this…”
Her face turned red and eyes watered.
“Hold on… I’ll call someone…”
He said in panic and called Nora.
“Nora will be here in few minutes, don’t worry…”
He said beside her holding her hand.
“It’s hurting…”
Eira sobbed and clutched on his caller tightly. Xavion placed her head on his chest and rubbed her back soothingly. Her anger was forgotten due to pain, at this moment she only wanted his scent and gentle touch.
“I know baby, just few minutes please… I know it’s hurting…”
He cooed, he looked like he is in more pain than her. His heart was breaking looking at her condition. It wasn’t supposed to this much painful but by looking at her he was worried that she might face some difficulties in delivery.
After few minutes Xavion turned impatient as there was no sign of Nora’s arrival.
“Where the fuck is she?…”
Eira was screaming whenever she was getting contractions, she was trying to control but it was unbearable. Xavion was holding her close trying to soothe her pain.
“Wait… I’ll look for someone else…”
He assured.
“Please lie down… I’ll be back…”
“Don’t leave me…”
Eira sobbed and his heart filled with happiness, she wanted him even after all the Chaos.
“I am not leaving baby, I’ll be back with the help just give me few seconds…”
He kissed her forehead and made her lie on the bed.
Xavion went out calling Nora but she wasn’t picking up.
“Fuck… I am gonna kill that bitch…”
He growled.
Aron and Ace heard his growl and approached him quickly.
“What’s the matter?…”
Aron asked frowning.
“Eira is in labor and Nora isn’t picking up… She is the only one who is trusted and experienced in this matter…”
Xavion said frustratingly.
“We can’t take her to the hospital and show the whole world that look this is how supernatural gives birth…”
“We have few maids those who might be experienced… They are quite old, that might help…”
Ace suggested.
“Okay call them…”
Xavion ordered.
“And Aron you go and look for Nora… Bring her here at any cost…”
Saying that he went back to Eira.
His heart broke looking at her condition. She was rolling on the bed in pain. He tried to comfort her but nothing worked.
The two old maids came shortly with the hot water and napkins. Xavion gave them space to check on her. The maids inspected her.
“She is just in labor sir, water haven’t broke yet… We can’t do anything before that…”
The maid informed and xavion growled frustratingly as he saw his mate in pain.
“How much time it will take?…”
He inquired.
“We can’t say anything”
She answered and he grabbed his head in frustration.
Eira was in pain but she was noticing Xavion’s struggle. He was in panic and trying to soothe her. Her heart melted by his behavior.
‘If this is not love then what is it… If he doesn’t love me then why my pain is hurting him so much… If he really wanted Patricia then he might have kept her like me, like he brought me back but No, he didn’t… May be I should believe in my mate instead of someone else. I don’t know why but my heart is not ready to hate him, no matter how much I try… I can’t hate xavion…’
The maids made her sit in comfortable condition which can help her with the contractions. Xavion sat beside her and held her hand, caressing her sweaty forehead.
“Please hold on for some time… Everything will be fine…”
He said looking concerned at her.
Eira clutched on his hand tightly.
“I am sorry xavion… I don’t know what’s wrong and what’s right…”
She said and he turned confused by her words. Not understanding what is she saying.
“I don’t know if you were really at fault or not… But you are right, I have no right to judge you for your past when I myself have hands full of blood. I have did terrible things, may be more cruel than you. I shouldn’t hate you by your past behavior when you are trying your best to give every bit of love you have in you…”
She confessed and his eyes turned glossy with bright smile.
“I love you and I can’t hate you xavion…”
Xavion cupped her face and kissed her forehead.
“I knew you will understand Eira… I love you and please don’t leave me again. I’ll die without you…”
“If I leave you again then drag me back in your arms…”
She said with painful smile and he chuckled.
“You don’t have to tell me that…”
He hugged her from side.
Eira was handling her pain now but xavion was angry and impatient. Aron haven’t come back yet and wasn’t picking his phone either.
It was past afternoon and everything was mess.
Xavion himself walked out to look for him but when he reached the front gate, he saw Aron coming back.
“Where the fuck you have been?…”
Xavion growled.
Aron was panting heavily.
“Lorenzo killed Nora… And he is going to attack us with his vampire army. They will be here in any minute…”
Aron breathed out.
Xavion grabbed his head in disbelief. He killed Nora that means the spell she casted around his mansion has broken now. Vampires can easily enter the mansion.
“Fuck!”
