“xavion has Patricia… She is alive?…”
Eira mumbled in trance. She was about to loose her sanity. Lorenzo was throwing truth on her face like a cold bucket of water.
If Lorenzo is right then It’s shocking that xavion has held Patricia captive for hundred years.
“Yes, did you saw the Patricia’s painting in that mansion?…”
Lorenzo asked eagerly and Eira nodded her eyes, nose and ears has turned red, she was in total mess.
“When xavion learnt that Patricia doesn’t love him, she was there to take revenge then he separated her soul from her body and caged her soul in that painting… I don’t know where is he hiding her body but Valarie told me that that painting has her soul… He wanted to punish her, punish all of us by doing that. Patricia is caged for hundred years and here I am roaming in the forest with this torment…”
Lorenzo said and tears escaped from his eyes.
“I don’t want anything else Eira… I don’t want revenge either, I just want Patricia who is my love and we will go away from here… Please help me to free her…”
Lorenzo looked at Eira who was in shock. She was frozen in her place.
“Eira?…”
He gently shook her bringing her out of her trance.
“I’ll see what I can do…”
She blinked away her tears but now face was total blank, void from any kind of emotions.
“You are my only hope now…”
Lorenzo said with hopeful eyes.
Eira didn’t answered and started walking back to home. She stumbled on the ground while walking like a broken soul. The man she loved and believed more than herself was nothing but a big lie.
‘Nothing was real… He lied, everything was a big lie. He doesn’t love me, he never loved me. He was just looking for his lost lover in me. How can be so stupid to believe that someone can love me so selflessly. I wasn’t that lucky, my own mother disowned me then how can I expect someone else to love me… I don’t know if mate bond is real, I don’t know if his love for me is real but whatever I saw and heard today after that I realized that you can’t trust anyone… Not even your own mate…’
On other hand xavion finished his work and walked back towards his bedroom hoping to find Eira. But he got surprised when he didn’t find her there. He checked library, kitchen, bathrooms but Eira was nowhere. He started panicking. He hurriedly went out in the garden but she wasn’t there too.
“ARON!…”
Xavion yelled and he came running outside.
“What happened brother…”
Aron asked confused by looking at his state.
“Eira is missing… Alert the packs… NOW…”
He shouted.
“Okay relax… She might be doing something or sitting somewhere… It’s okay…”
Aron tried to calm him down.
“Relax?… Are you fucking out of your mind… Do you know what will happen if Lorenzo find her… Everything will be over…”
Xavion panicked.
“Where is the fucking guards?… The fuck they were doing…”
He growled.
Eira somehow reached to the front gate of the mansion.
“Brother…”
Aron called him as he saw Eira.
Xavion followed the direction of his eyes and spotted Eira. He quickly turned around and ran towards her.
“Where the fuck you have been… I told you not to go anywhere without me…”
Xavion Scolded.
“Why you were out Eira?… And why are you crying. Did someone hurt you.”
Xavion inspected her with panicked expressions. He placed his hand on her baby bump and sigh in relief knowing babies are fine.
“We need to talk…”
Eira said and walked ahead.
Xavion’s heart froze in his chest, he understood what has happened. He saw Eira going inside but couldn’t muster up the courage to follow her.
“What’s going on?…”
Aron asked looking at them confused.
“Everything is finished Aron… Lorenzo met Eira…”
Xavion spoke, loosing his hope.
“That’s what I was scared of… Now go and talk to her…”
Aron replied with blank face and walked away.
Eira was waiting for him in the room, her face was hard and emotionless. She heard him opening the door and entering inside but didn’t looked at him.
“Eira, please listen to me… I don’t know what he has told you but you can’t make any decisions without hearing my side…”
Xavion said, his chest was rising up and down heavily like he is scared.
Eira nodded in agreement.
“Right, I have promised you that I’ll always give you a chance to explain and won’t break my promise but can you assure me that this time you will tell me the truth…”
She asked looking at him with glossy eyes.
“I don’t even need your explanation because I have seen everything with my eyes…”
Xavion realized that Lorenzo has done his work perfectly.
“Still, I want to hear it from your mouth… Just answer me in yes or no…”
She stated.
“Eira… I can___”
“Only yes or no xavion… If you want me to hear you then answer my question first…”
Eira interrupted him and he nodded defeated. He was standing in front of him like a guilty.
“Patricia never loved you, you were the one who wanted her ?…”
She asked.
And xavion nodded.
“Yes…”
“She didn’t killed your parents… You lied about that?…”
“Yes…”
“Whatever love story you told me about both of you was completely wrong?…”
“Yes…”
“You feed my mind with negative thoughts about Marcel so I won’t go to him?…”
“Yes…”
“Valarie didn’t killed Patricia, it was a lie…”
“Yes…”
“You want me just because I look like Patricia”
“No”
Xavion growled.
“No that’s not true…”
“I am not finished yet xavion… Yes or no…”
She snapped.
“No…”
He said firmly.
“You killed Marcel and lied about that… You were going to kill Lorenzo too so I can’t find out the truth…”
“Yes…”
“Do you really love me?…”
She broke down at the end.
“Yes”
Xavion said desperately with glossy eyes.
“Yes I love you… Please don’t doubt that…”
He pleaded.
“Then why… Why you had to lie so much…”
She yelled breaking into tears.
“Because I didn’t wanted to loose you, I was scared…”
He confessed.
“You never believed In me, you only saw Patricia in me. You were scared that I will leave you just like she did. There wasn’t any Eira, xavion… You failed to see me because you are still blinded in your past…”
She shook her head disappointingly.
“It’s not like that, my love… You are getting me wrong…”
Xavion said desperately.
“Is there something else remaining to misunderstood… Today I was thinking of you as my world but I never thought that you will be the one who will destroy me…”
She said in broken voice.
“You know what… I have broken plenty of bones till now but I never felt this much broken before…”
“Eira… Please___”
Tear escaped from his eyes.
“You weren’t lying when you said that you will introduce me to every emotion… Finally you completed your task. I can feel everything now… I can feel my heart bleeding and it’s hurting xavion…”
She looked broken.
“I know whatever I did was wrong… I should have told you but you have to understand that I had reasons…”
He said stepping closer but she stopped him.
“The only reason behind your behavior was you insecurities, your past… Your obsession which you had for her…”
Eira countered.
“Leave me alone!…”
“leave me alone I don’t want to see your face…”
She turned around with disgusted face.
“I am not going from here until you listen to me…”
He countered.
“I don’t want to…”
She yelled.
He Groaned frustratingly.
“You have to otherwise__”
“Otherwise what… Huh?… Otherwise you will separate my soul from my body and cage in a painting for centuries… Do you want to do that?…”
She growled at him.
Xavion closed his eyes and regretted his every decision.
“I never thought that you could stoop so low that you will punish someone this brutally… I can’t believe that I loved someone like you…”
The look on her face broke Xavion’s heart into pieces.
“Get out!… GET OUT FROM HERE…”
She growled.
