Nora looked at Eira suspiciously, she was Xavion’s loyal and was working for him for years now. She is the one who has made Eira’s locked and cast a spell around the mansion.
“why not Luna… its a good news”
Eira noticed her confused state.
“I want to tell him this. This is our first time and I want to make it special so don’t tell him, I want to give him surprise…”
Nora smiled cheekily at her.
“Of course…”
She informed her about other things related to pregnancy, what to eat and what not.
“I’ll take your permission now… Congratulations…”
The witch Said and left the room.
Xavion was standing outside waiting impatiently. When he saw Nora coming out he was quick to ask.
“What happened?…”
“Nothing… She is perfectly fine. Sometimes it happens with she wolves due to hormonal changes. She is newly shifted so it’s normal… Nothing to worry…”
Nora assured.
“Okay…”
Xavion sighed in relief.
On other hand Eira was terrified. It was unbelievable that she is pregnant. She went to the washroom and stood in front of human size mirror. Lifting her shirt up she placed her hand on lower abdomen.
“Three babies…”
She mumbled.
She sighed defeated thinking if xavion want this or not. He has never talked about having babies and they never discussed about family planning. What if he don’t want this. Eira herself was unsure about this pregnancy, she wasn’t ready for this. Everything was happening too fast. She shifted, got Marked and mate and now this pregnancy which is a life time commitment, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
‘what should I do?… Should I tell xavion that I am pregnant or should I abort. I am not ready, not mentally at least… We should have use protection. How I can be so irresponsible but may be Xavion want babies because he didn’t use protection…’
She Groaned in frustration.
‘may be I should talk to him… I know he won’t force me to do this… But can I really kill my own babies…’
Eira couldn’t think properly, everything was looking right and wrong at the same time.
‘i should tell him first but how will he react…’
She sighed and washed her face with cold water.
“Eira?…”
She heard Xavion knocking on the door.
“Coming…”
She yelled back and wiped her face with towel.
Xavion was waiting outside for her.
“Are you feeling okay now?…”
He asked as she came out.
“Yes, better now…”
She forced a smile.
‘should I tell him now?…’
Her heart started racing at the thought.
“What happened you look stressed?…”
He asked looking at her.
“Nothing, I think I need fresh air… I am going out in the garden…”
She said and was about to walk pass by but he stopped.
“Can I join?…”
He asked and she nodded.
They both went to garden and sat down on the bench. Xavion placed his hand around her shoulder and she placed her head on his chest. Few children of pack members were playing in the garden.
“I have never seen these children before…”
Eira said.
“It’s Sunday so they are allowed to play in this garden otherwise they play out in the forest…”
Xavion answered playing with her hair.
“Xavion, d__do you like children.”
She asked hesitatingly.
Xavion chuckled.
“And why would you ask that?…”
“Just curious…”
She sighed.
“I haven’t really spend time with children… I don’t know if I like them or not.”
He replied casually.
“Why are you asking me this?…”
“Nothing… Just casually”
She trailed off.
Xavion chuckled.
“Do you want babies?…”
He teased.
“I would love to see you carrying my children… Just imagine how strong they will become…”
Eira’s face turned worried by his reaction. She was still in conflict regarding her pregnancy.
Xavion noticed her worried Face.
“Relax… I am just teasing you. I won’t ask you for children until you are ready…”
He assured.
Eira frowned.
“But we are not using any protection… We had unprotected sex”
Xavion smiled and patted her head.
“Who told you that?… Baby, the juice you are drinking daily had some herbs in it which helps in birth control… We are not having unprotected sex… i knew that it might difficult for us to use some other way of birth control, that’s why i arranged this.”
Eira’s eyes widened at him.
“You didn’t tell me this before…”
“Yes I did… When we had sex for the first time and you hummed at that…”
Xavion Said with scrutinizing gaze.
Eira gulped nervously, she was almost passed out when they mated, how can she recollect that and what terrified her the most that she didn’t had that juice daily. She did drank that in the beginning but it had weird taste so she stopped drinking that and didn’t realized that consequences can be like this.
“Okay!…”
She forced a smile.
“It means you don’t want kids right now?…”
“I don’t want to exhaust you… You just shifted and still trying to blend in this world, it will be hectic for you to bear children.”
He replied.
“And I want to cherish you first… Babies can wait… For now I want all your attention on me…”
He kissed her cheek caressing her face.
Eira nodded and looked at the kids playing in the garden. Her face went pale, it’s obvious that xavion is not ready for babies. Eira herself is not ready, she was scared and couldn’t even tell him. She was worried thinking how will he react. After all he asked her to drink the juice and she didn’t. her stomach churned at the nervousness.
Xavion stared at her, she looked lost.
“Are you okay, Eira… You are making me worried. Should I call another witch if you are still feeling sick…”
Eira looked at him and nodded with Nervous face.
“I am feeling suffocated here, I want to stay alone… And I am going in the city, it’s been long I have seen humans…”
Xavion’s face turned hard listening her words.
“You are not going in the city alone…”
He said firmly.
Eira closed her eyes frustratingly she was already scared due to this news and now he was making it worst. she wanted some time to think about it which she wasn’t getting in the mansion.
On other hand xavion wasn’t ready to let her go alone in the city, not when he saw Lorenzo trying to contact Eira.
“Either you are going out with me or not going anywhere at all…”
By now Eira was fuming in anger.
