Eira was walking peacefully beside the river, her knee length floral dress was swinging along with her platinum hair.
The weather was sunny and warm just like wanted. After a tiring workout it was peaceful to come out in the nature but whenever she tries to stay alone all her past flashes in front of her. How she killed so many people without any remorse. Seldom has she tried to comfort herself thinking that she wasn’t her real self. She wouldn’t have became a killer of she had her emotions at that time. She sometimes hesitate to stay alone for this reason, getting back all the emotions at one time was not at all blissful. Sometimes she gets overwhelmed but never showed it to anyone, especially Xavion thinking that he might worry about her for no reason and will focus on her leaving his important work aside. She didn’t want that.
But she did forget everything and feel at peace whenever she is near xavion. Never in her life she thought that she can love some man like this. Few months ago she was just a girl with weapons and now she has everything. Xavion has slowly started becoming the center of her world. Everything was fine till last night, serenity’s words has made a powerful impact on her mind.
Eira don’t want to believe that xavion can be toxic and obsessed, she can’t imagine him like that. Her heart refused to believe that something like this can happen. She was lost in her own World that she didn’t realize someone is watching her from behind.
It’s was Lorenzo, he wasn’t expecting Eira to come out alone but one of his man informed him about it and Lorenzo didn’t wanted to miss this golden opportunity. Xavion has sealed the each and every way for him to reach Eira. Lorenzo can’t touch her because of the locket she has around her neck neither they can perform any black magic on her. Xavion has cast a spell around his mansion so no unknown power can enter it without his consent. It always irks him that how much brain xavion has got, bastard always stay one step ahead. It was too obvious that he xavion has no idea about Eira being alone in the forest still he look around to make sure. Lorenzo had no intention to hurt her, he just wanted to talk and tell her about xavion then rest will happen automatically. He was sure that Eira will definitely leave xavion and then Lorenzo will be free to take another step.
When xavion reached the spot where Eira was standing his world almost turned upside down. Lorenzo was standing few steps behind her. Xavion head filled with thousands of horrifying questions.

But it was obvious from Eira’s expressions that she is unaware of Lorenzo’s presence behind her. Lorenzo was about to call her but xavion quickly rushed towards him and grabbed him by collar. Lorenzo was taken a back for a moment when he saw Xavion.
“Stay the fuck away from her…”
Xavion growled and punched him on the face hard.
Eira turned around with gasp when she heard the growl.
“Xavion”
Lorenzo growled back, his fangs came out and eyes glowed red. He was about to speak but xavion didn’t let him. Lorenzo attacked xavion back and Eira couldn’t stay back. She stood beside xavion and growled at Lorenzo threatening him.
Lorenzo’s realized he missed the another opportunity. He can’t attack xavion after the hybrids warning, they have given clear orders that there won’t be any fight neither it was his plan. Not dragging it more he threw warning glare at Xavion and left with vampire speed.
Xavion internally sighed in relief when he saw Lorenzo leaving. Everything is fine for now.
He clenched his jaw and turned around to face Eira.
“What the fuck are you doing here?…”
He growled.
Eira flinched back at his tone.
“Why are you so angry?…”
She frowned.
“Why the fuck I am so Angry?… Haven’t you seen what happened?…”
Xavion spat angrily.
“How many fucking times I have told you to stay in and don’t go out without me…”
Eira couldn’t believe that he is actually talking to her her in this tone. It anger her.
“I am not your slave xavion… I can’t always do as per your wish. I have my own will.”
She growled back.
“I am doing this for your safety Eira…”
His tone softened as he realized she is getting Angry.
Eira scoffed.
“For my safety?… I don’t need anyone to protect me xavion, haven’t you realized that yet. I was an assassin before I turn into werewolf, I know how to kill and protect myself. I have been playing with dangers since childhood and you weren’t there to protect me. And if you think I can’t stand against werewolves then let me remind you that I fought with Valarie and won…”
Her safety was never the topic of concern, xavion knows that Eira is more than capable to protect herself, he saw that when she fought with Valarie. Safety was just an excuse the main reason is he wants to keep her away from Marcel and Lorenzo.
“I know you can but I care for you Eira… You saw what happened…”
He tried held her hand but she jerked it away.
“If your care and love is going to be cage for me then I don’t need it…”
She replied with hurtful expressions.
And xavion realized he fucked up.
“Eira…”
“No xavion… You can’t control my life. I listen to you because I respect and love you that doesn’t mean I have given you the privilege to take advantage of it… Even if we are mates, even if we love each other there are some boundaries which we shouldn’t cross.”
She took a step back towards the river.
Xavion roamed his hands in his hair frustratingly and looked at her.
“I know… And I understand. I am sorry, I overact but I love you Eira and I can’t see you in danger Even if you are strong and you know that…”
“That doesn’t mean you can control my life and lock me in the mansion… I need space”
She turned around.
“What are you doing Eira… let’s go home we can talk about it peacefully…”
Xavion tried to make her understand.
Eira didn’t bother to turn around.
“I need some space… I’ll come back when I want to…”
Xavion closed his eyes frustratingly.
“Eira…”
Before he could say further, Eira jumped in the river.
“The fuck I am living you alone…”
