Eira and serenity walked inside as their mates called them back. Serenity’s words were still ringing in her head. It was hard for Eira to believe her; xavion can’t be obsessed with her. He is a gentle man and takes care of her in every way. He isn’t like those creepy men. On other hand serenity could clearly read her mind but she wasn’t blaming Eira for her blind trust on xavion. It’s hard to think something bad about mate.
Serenity Smirked evilly when she spotted one particular blonde woman, who was wearing red gown and high heels. Serenity mumbled something to herself and the woman slipped on her place and fell down on the floor. All the people started laughing at her. The woman’s face turned red in embarrassment, she stood up with the help of her partner and left the party silently crying at the insult.
Eira looked at serenity in disbelief who was grinning evilly.
“What… I didn’t do anything”
She put on an innocent face.
“I saw you mumbling some spell…”
Eira countered.
“Why would you do that?…”
“She was thinking dirty about Lucifer, this is the third time I am witnessing her doing it. She has done it in other functions too. I can’t stand quiet if she is eye raping my men…”
Serenity shrugged.
“Don’t blame me, you would do the same… I know…”
Eira grinned and nodded naughtily.
“Well I can’t blame you for this…”
Serenity smiled cheekily.
“Really!… Then tell about this to my mates… They don’t need to know…”
“Promise…”
Eira said and they giggled.
“What we don’t need to know…”
Lucifer asked as all of them walked towards the girls.
“Nothing it’s a girl thing…”
Serenity lied and put a shield around Eira so they can’t hear her thoughts.
Vincent stood behind serenity and wrapped a hand around her waist dragging her closer.
“You think we are fools, love… We are totally aware of your doings, you are getting punished when we get home.”
He whispered darkly.
Serenity gasped.
“Punishment?… But I didn’t do anything wrong…”
She looked at Nicolai and pouted. Nicolai quickly pulled her closer and she placed her hands on his shoulders.
“You are fucking five thousand years old, kitten… Stop creating problems like toddler.”
Nicolai said but he was far to gentle in tone than Vincent and Lucifer.
“She deserved it…”
Serenity countered.
Eira was smiling looking at their cuteness, serenity wasn’t wrong when she said that these men have taught her how to live her life again. She can see that in their eyes. Serenity is the most powerful supernatural in the world and probably she is far more powerful than hybrids but they didn’t seem to mind at all. Instead of hurting their ego it was making them proud. It doesn’t matter for them that she is older, for them she is just a naughty 18 years old girl and they are 28 years old men.
Xavion grabbed Eira’s hand gently.
“Would you like to dance with me, love?…”
He asked and she quickly nodded blushing.
Xavion lead Eira towards the stage where few couples were already dancing. She placed her hands on his shoulders and they started swaying with the music.
“I can’t take my eyes of you, baby… You look breathtaking…”
He confessed.
“Thank you…”
Eira pecked his lips as she felt few jealous stares on them so she decided fuel it.
“By the way what you guys talked about…”
She inquired.
“Nothing, they had few misunderstandings so I had to clear it… Everything is in control, don’t worry…”
He assured.
“Was it Lorenzo who complained…”
She asked and xavion clenched his jaw when he heard his name from her mouth.
“Don’t take his name… I’ll take care of him. I don’t want you to get involved in my dirty fights…”
He said and she could sense his anger.
“Okay…”
She answered not wanting to create scene in front of everyone, whenever she wants to talk about Lorenzo, xavion won’t let her.
They finished dancing, xavion was busy talking with some people and Eira was standing there silently. She was bored so she walked away to grab a drink. She took a glass of wine from the waiter and was about to walk back but the waiter stopped her.
“Miss Eira?…”
Eira turned around to look at him.
“Yes, that’s me…”
“You have a message from someone…”
He declared and pulled out a note from his pocket.
“Message?… From whom?…”
She questioned and took the note from him.
“I don’t know… I was just informed to give you this. It’s important please read it…”
He said and walked away. Eira quickly followed him and held him by elbow.
“i said who gave this?”
she asked sternly.
“i am sorry ma’am… i don’t know who was he. he just asked me to give it to you… please excuse me”
he freed himself and ran away.
“Excuse me?…”
Eira tried to follow him but he disappeared in the crowd.
She looked at the note with the frown. Xavion saw her alone and walked towards her.
“What are you doing here alone, baby. Sorry I got busy…”
“No problem… I was just getting drink for myself…”
She answered.
“What’s in your hand?”
He questioned when he saw she is clutching on something.
“Nothing… Just a tissue paper…”
She lied not wanting to bother him until she finds out what is in it.
“Very well… Come I have a announcement to make…”
He said and walked on the stage. Eira placed that note in her clutch and looked at Xavion.
“Ladies and gentlemen… Thank you so much for coming here and giving us your well wishes. Today I want to announce one more important thing…”
Xavion called Aron on the stage.
“I am giving the title of Alpha of southern pack to My brother Aron. He has Alpha blood too and I believe that he will be one of the most powerful Alpha…”
Xavion declared and everyone cheered for Aron. Everyone knows how brave Aron is, he has qualities of xavion in him.
“Thanks brother…”
Aron hugged xavion.
“You deserve this Aron… I am not giving you anything, it belongs to you…”
Xavion patted his back proudly.
Eira walked towards them.
“Congratulations Aron…”
“Thanks Eira…”
They hugged like friends.
After that everyone had dinner and after that party was finally over. Eira walked towards her room and opened her clutch. She finally got the chance to read the note.
She placed the clutch aside and opened the note. Her eyebrows scrunched together as she started reading.
