Eira and Xavion was sitting at the bathtub after their mating. She was resting her back on his chest relaxed and he was occasionally kissing her head and tracing her arms.
“Eira I want ask you something”
Xavion mumbled.
“Hmm”
She responded lazily.
“If I lied to you about something which is hard for me to explain and you find out that from someone else then what will you do…”
Eira sat up straight and looked at him with serious look.
“Are you lying about something”
She questioned with slightly worried expressions.
Xavion met her gaze and shook his head.
“No baby… I am just asking…”
Eira visibly relaxed.
“I don’t like when someone lies to me, I feel betrayed. I have never lied to anyone and I expect the same from others especially the people I trust the most…”
Xavion internally got scared, till now he has been building the castle of lies in which Eira is imprisoned.
Eira leaned down and placed her head on his chest while he quickly wrapped his arms around her possessively.
“I trust you xavion… And I love you. No matter how dark secrets you have I will understand and accept you with it but don’t ever lie to me.”
Xavion was sitting quietly.
“I myself was an assassin, I have killed thousands of people and I know I am a monster. But whatever I am, is front of you…”
“I won’t lie to you to hurt you, my love… But I can’t tell you everything either. There are some parts of my life which I want to keep in the dark…”
He explained.
Eira nodded in understanding.
“I respect your privacy I won’t force you to tell me until you yourself wants to tell me that… Just say it on my face that you won’t tell me but don’t lie about it… That’s all I want…”
Xavion forced a smile.
“Of course…”
Eira smiled back.
“I love you…”
Xavion’s stomach churned looking at her hopeful eyes, he couldn’t even think how she will react when she learns the truth about him.
“I love you too…”
He hugged her tightly like she will vanish at any moment.
“Are you feeling okay now… Is it still hurting…”
He asked and she blushed at the memories.
“Better than before…”
She mumbled shyly and he smirked.
“I can make you feel good if you want…”
He teased biting on her neck, making her shiver in his hold.
“It’s late… We missed our breakfast and it’s almost lunch time… I don’t think I have energy to continue this today…”
She complained and he let out a hearty chuckle.
“I know baby… You need your energy back, I was just kidding…”
He winked and she smiled.
“Okay… Let’s get ready. You must be hungry…”
Eira and Xavion wore their clothes and head downstairs, it was afternoon and xavion was late for his work. He had many things to take care of but didn’t wanted to go away from her so he postponed it.
“You shouldn’t compromise with your work, you know…”
Eira suggested as they head downstairs.
“I don’t want to leave you today, I want to spend some time with you…”
He sulked and she giggled.
“If you were in my place, what will you choose…”
He raised his eyebrows challengingly.
“I love to kill people but you snatched my happiness from me…”
She winked at him sitting at the dinning table.
“So you want to kill people?…”
He asked amused.
“They weren’t innocent… They deserved it…”
She shrugged carelessly.
“Hmm… I was thinking that if you could train she wolves in our pack…”
Xavion suggested.
“It will be beneficial to our pack, it will double our strength.”
“Excellent…”
she exclaimed.
“I was getting bored whole day… Thanks…”
She answered as one of the maid placed the food trays on the tables. Eira sniffed the air and frowned looking at xavion.
“Is she human?…”
She asked when that maid disappeared in the kitchen.
“Yes… Why?…”
Xavion asked.
“I thought humans are not allowed in the mansion… I wasn’t able to differentiate between humans and the werewolves but now I can tell… All our maids are humans…”
She said looking at the another redhead with blue eyes, she was thin and with simple attire. The maid girl was solely focused on her work.
Xavion followed the direction of Eira’s eyes and looked at the redhead girl.
“Yes we hire humans as maids and servants… The members in our packs are Nobel’s and high in ranks. We don’t allow Rogue’s in our pack so someone has to do the chores.”
“But what if they learn about us…”
Eira questioned curiously.
“We have witches to make them forget… And you don’t have to worry. We only hire the maids who are orphan with no family background so they won’t have any support from outsiders…”
He answered and she nodded.
They stopped talking and looked at Aron who walked in the hall with playful smile on his lips.
“Good morning…”
“Good morning Aron…”
They greeted in unison.
“So how was the night…”
He teased sitting down.
“None of your business…”
Xavion Rolled his eyes making Eira giggle.
“Why are you giggling woman… You should be in my team. This man always bully me…”
Aron pouted at Eira.
“Yes of course… I am in your team…”
She laughed.
“It’s good to see you guys like this… Finally you two have solved your problems…”
Xavion said sipping on his juice.
“Yeah… Because she has no idea about anything…”
Aron said and xavion noticed the hidden meaning behind it.
“Let’s eat shall we…”
Xavion gave him warning glare and as usual Aron ignored him.
The redhead timidly came with the Aron’s food and placed it in front of him.
“Wow, today it’s smelling incredibly good… Who cooked today…”
He said but his smile Instantly fell when he realized it’s not the Aroma of food. It was something different and strong.
Aron’s eyes snapped towards the girl who was standing beside him, looking at him in her own daze. Her dove eyes were fixed on him like she is in trance and Aron looked at her shocked. The human girl was none other than his mate.
His shocked face slowly turned furious and clenched his jaw Angrily.
“You got to be fucking kidding me… Fucking human…”
He growled and the girl flinched back horrified. Xavion and Eira looked at him confused.
Aron slide down the plate from the table which scattered on the floor, he stood up and stormed outside leaving everyone confused.
“What the fuck is wrong with him…”
Xavion cursed standing up and looked at the girl who was on verge of crying.
“I didn’t do anything… Please forgive me this is my first day here. I don’t want to loose this job…”
She pleaded with glossy eyes.
Xavion stared at her and closed His eyes muttering the curse, he understood what is happening while Eira was totally confused. She couldn’t understand why Aron was Angry on the poor girl, the food was delicious.
“I need to talk to him…”
Xavion said and excused himself from the girls.
When he walked out he noticed the huge bouquet of red roses outside, it was almost of human size. Some flowers had blood on it which was dripping on the floor.
“Fucking bastard…”
Xavion cursed when he realized who is behind it.
