Eira complimented as she saw Xavion doing pull ups continuously. He was hanging on the branch of a big tree while she was practicing her martial arts on the ground.
They were in the forest for the running and workout. Eira was happy watching him doing exercise with her and he was happy to get a girl who can compete with him in everything. He was impressed by her skills and moves, any one could tell that she is highly skilled assassin.
Xavion smiled at her words and asked her to come closer. Eira walked closer to him and he easily lifted her up by waist still holding the branch with another hand.
“If you allow… I can show you how much strength I have…”
He whispered biting her ear sensually. Eira’s hold tightened on his shoulders as they were at least one ft above the ground.
“We still have time for that… Remember?…”
She teased giggling.
“I was talking about pull ups, baby…”
he teased continuing his pull ups with her in his arms.
Eira laughed and hit his arm.
“I know what you mean… I can understand that, I am not stupid…”
He chuckled.
“Yeah… I can’t wait for our morning… I can’t wait for two days…”
“Uhhm xavion… I was thinking that we don’t know much about each other. I mean likes and dislikes.”
She suggested and he chuckled replying.
“Ask me anything you want…”
“You look quite stressed when you saw my birthmark, why?…”
She asked and he stopped his exercise. He held on her tightly and jumped on the ground and placed her on the ground.
“I think you have got it from your ancestors, it’s more like a family emblem. But I am still not sure… Let me get more information and i will tell you about it…”
Xavion said sincerely And she just nodded blankly.
“You don’t look curious… Don’t you want to know about your real family and mother…”
Eira shook her head with hateful expressions.
“Why would I want to know about the people who abandoned me…”
Xavion internally Smirked, he didn’t wanted her so Called family to come between them And her hate for them have made it easy for him.
“May be they had some serious situation…”
Xavion tried to play along.
“What situation…”
She Scoffed.
“They are supernaturals… I don’t think there was something so serious that they couldn’t find me in these twenty five years… They don’t care about me neither do I… Wolf’s believe in family, right?… They stay in a pack then why did they abandoned me…”
“It’s okay baby… You don’t need them, you have me…”
He pulled her in a hug and Eira hugged him back.
“I love you and we are family now… You don’t need anyone else when I am with you.”
He said as evil smirk appeared on his face while Eira smiled on his lovely words.
“I am very lucky to have you xavion… I don’t think I deserve you. You are giving me so much love and I can’t do anything in return.
Xavion cupped her face looking at her adoringly.
“You don’t have to do anything, just stay by my side forever…”
With that he pulled her in a passionate kiss.
“Yes, and I have your things…”
He pulled away.
“What?…”
She asked looking confused.
Xavion pulled out the ring and locket from his pocket which he gave her.
Eira raised her eyebrows in surprise.
“Ohh… I thought I broke it while shifting…”
“No… I removed them while you were sleeping, I had a doubt that night so I was prepared…”
He said while helping her to wear it.
“You are smart…”
Eira chuckled and he smirked.
“You have no idea, baby…”
After doing exercise for few more hours they shifted in their wolf forms.
Xavion was teaching her basic attacks of wolves. How and where she should attack if she has to face another wolf or vampire. And he was impressed seeing how quickly she was catching everything. Her large size was already advantage for her.
They came back towards their keep and wore their clothes as they finished training.
“Always target Wolf’s throat, it’s one of the weakest part.”
He informed and she nodded in understanding.
“Well, tell me something about you. I haven’t noticed you disliking something. Tell me what do hate the most…”
“I hate when someone lies to me…”
Eira replied within seconds like it’s too obvious but her answer made Xavion uncomfortable.
“I don’t lie to anyone and I expect the same from the people…”
“I see…”
Xavion gave her a forced smile.
“Let’s go home, it’s quite late…”
“Yes, let’s go…”
She said while typing her shoe less.
After that they head back home but xavion was still thinking about her family. Eira hates them but what if they want her back. Now she is here and they will obviously try to take her advantage, especially her mother And definitely try to separate her from him. He was still thinking how to turn the situation in his favour. He have to fuel Eira’s hate for her family and he has so many reasons and ways for that. He was just waiting for the right time. Another challenge for him was her hate for lies.
‘I am not lying to her… I am just hiding the truth so I can reveal it on the perfect time…’
He thought to himself.
Reaching the mansion Eira quickly went for a shower while Aron stopped xavion to talk about something important.
“Isn’t it tragic, brother…”
Aron laughed clutching on his stomach as it started hurting from all the laughing.
“I never knew that I can be this much surprised by the fate but guess what… I was wrong…”
He said and xavion rolled his eyes.
“You know what that birthmark means, right?… You know this will lead to the war. They will definitely come for her…”
Aron said controlling his laugh and xavion scoffed.
“Then They wouldn’t have abandoned her in the first place… It’s too obvious that they don’t want her. And now if they come between us for their dirty intentions then I will kill each and every one of them…”
Xavion spat clenching his fists.
“I can’t stop laughing bro… You know your mate’s mother___”
“Shut up Aron and come to the point…”
Xavion growled.
Aron Explained him about the problem.
“And council is in her favor… It’s too obvious that she has manipulated them. Bitch know how to play games…”
The council contains elder and experienced werewolves from different packs and work for peace and well being of the packs. They try to establish lawful environment among the werewolves and it’s decisions are binding.
“Fucking bitch… I am gonna kill her…”
Xavion growled angrily.
“Ace… Call the council meeting, bloody fuckers…”
He ordered while furiously walking towards his bedroom.
Eira came out from washroom after taking bath and saw Angry xavion. She frowned thinking what happened to him, he was fine when she was with him.
“What happened xavion…”
She asked.
“Nothing baby just wait…”
Xavion said calling someone and as soon as the that person received the call he started abusing.
She waited patiently for him to finish his call, she has never seen him so much Angry and abusing someone so badly still his tone with her was gentle and that’s what she admired the most about him. He never disrespects her.
Xavion disconnected the call and rubbed his forehead annoyingly.
“Will you tell me now?”
She asked looking at him.
“Valarie… She has challenged you for the fight. Saying that she is more capable to be a Luna than you are. And you already know about killing the mate and all that shit… She is trying to claim her rights over me…”
He sighed frustratingly.
“And council is in her favor… They want you to fight with her”
Eira herself started boiling in anger, Valarie was making her fight for her own place.
“And what if she won this fight…”
“You don’t have to worry about it, I know how to handle this…”
Xavion assured.
“I am ready to fight…”
Eira declared.
“What?… No! you don’t have to…”
He frowned.
“I want to…”
She gritted her jaw in anger.
“Just tell me when…”
He wasn’t letting her fight with Valarie, she was a trained and experienced wolf while Eira was young and had no idea how brutal werewolf fights are.
“Tomorrow… But you are not doing it and that’s final…”
