Eira quickly ducked down and ran towards the xavion as Aron attacked her, she was Unarmed and there is no way she can fight with the Angry Wolf.
This was The first time when she realized that, she has started trusting xavion, so much that she knows he will protect her.
Xavion quickly pushed her Aside from the way and shifted in his wolf.
Xavion tackled Aron on the ground and hovered over him, growling. Aron was quick to submit under the Alpha. When he was calm and submitted, xavion stepped away from him.
Eira couldn’t understand why he attacked her, she didn’t triggered him in any way. She stood there as xavion controlled his brother.
This is the first time she witnessed the power of The Alpha. Aron’s wolf was smaller than Xavion’s but they were growling at each other like they are having conversation in their own language. After few minutes Aron stopped growling and stepped back, he started walking inside the mansion but not before hissing at the Eira. She wasn’t able to understand his hate towards her.
Xavion stopped growling too and looked at Aron until he disappeared in the house, then he walked towards the Eira who was still looking at him confused. He stood in front of her and she had to look up to meet his eyes as even his wolf was taller than her. Xavion leaned down and licked her cheek and she roamed her hands in his smooth fur.
Eira realized how is it feels to have someone who protects you.
Xavion nudge on her shoulder with his head and stepped forward, Eira couldn’t understand what is he trying to say. The wolf walked behind her and gave her a light push making her stumble forward. Then she understood that he is asking her to follow him. Xavion dropped her to their bedroom safely.
He came back from the washroom in his human form, wearing clothes. Eira was still thinking about what happened outside.
“Who is he?…”
She stood up from the bed as she saw him coming towards her.
“He is my brother…”
Xavion held her hands and inspect her body, if she is injured.
“He must have misunderstood something, don’t worry I’ll talk to him…”
“Don’t leave this room until I come back. Okay?…”
He said in a serious tone and she could understand why he was saying that, she just had the demo.
Eira nodded and he smiled at her response, In the beginning he thought it will be hard to make her understand things. The skills and talents she has are very incredible and he was sure that she will behave like a brat but she was nowhere near that. What he likes the most that even if her profession is agressive, she is calm. The way she speaks and response to things were satisfying.
Too much disciplined.
Xavion pecked her lips and chuckled at her face.
“Red suits you…”
Saying that he left the room.
Eira frowned at his words, not understanding what he meant but soon her doubts got cleared when she looked at herself in the mirror. Her pale skin has turned reddish in color which was the effect of his kiss.
It been three hours Eira was waiting for xavion. She could hear the voices from the next room which was Xavion’s study, it was Faint so she couldn’t understand anything.
But that was not the concern for her, she was thinking about her future and What is he intended to do with her. No doubt that she likes his company, his presence, everything about him was alluring for her but she still has no idea where this thing is going.
She heard the door getting opened and xavion walking in, his scent is so strong that it instantly filled the room.
“I am sorry, I am late… Come dinner is ready…”
He said giving her his hand to hold.
“Did it go well?…”
She asked about Aron.
“Yes…”
He nodded.
“Come I’ll introduce you to him…”
He Held her hand but she stopped him.
“Xavion, I want to ask you something?…”
She said and he looked at her alert, he wasn’t ready to answer her something which he don’t know how to answer still He gestured her to continue.
“What place I hold in your life?… I mean___ I am sorry if I sound weird but I really need to know my position so I can act like that…”
She said and his face softened, this question was too easy for him to answer.
Xavion cupped her face gently.
“Eira, you are my mate. We are destined to be together and you are my life, my love, my everything. You have come in my life like a blessing and you have no idea what you have changed…”
He sounded sincere like he mean each and every word, which moved her heart. She wasn’t used to hear this kind of romantic things and it was feeling so good to hear it from his mouth.
“You are my life Eira and don’t be doubtful about your place in my life. Because you are the only one for me…”
Eira was listening to him carefully and totally understanding his words, because she was feeling kind of same, the only difference is her feelings were faint.
“Okay, I understand…”
She replied with the blank face.
Xavion sighed.
“And we really need to work on your talking, you breaks my heart every time while talking to me.”
“Is it that bad?…”
she asked and he nodded.
“And smile will be awesome… I want to see your smile…”
He said hopefully.
Eira tried to smile but it was more like a forceful smile as her lips were spread in a thin line.
“Like this?…”
She asked keeping her weird smile and xavion laughed pinching bridge of his nose.
“I appreciate the efforts but we will work on it later… Come on, let’s go…”
He said suppressing his laugh.
Eira Fixed her face and held his hand as they walked out.
“You are damn cute…”
Xavion said looking adoringly at her flushed face.
This was the first time for Eira to go out of the room for a dinner, she was eating in the bedroom till now. Xavion held her hand lovingly as they head towards the dining table. He pulled a chair for her and she thanked him. Xavion sat on the head chair with Eira on his left.
Aron was sitting there too but he wasn’t looking cheerful like he was in the afternoon.
Xavion gave him a warning glare and he snickered.
Clearing his throat he held his hand in front of Eira.
“Hii… I am Aron, Xavion’s younger brother and I apologize for my behavior… I mistook you as someone else…”
He apologized but there was no sincerity in his words.
“No problem…”
Eira said Shaking his hand.
They started eating silently but Eira was constantly feeling Aron’s hard glare on her. She couldn’t understand what’s his problem with her. They were done having dinner when xavion got a call, he excused himself from them and went out to attend it, leaving Eira alone with Aron.
When Xavion was out of their site, Aron slammed his fork on the plate, grabbing her attention.
“What the fuck are you planning this time, bitch…”
Aron spat at her hatefully.
“I don’t know what are you talking about…”
Eira said calmly, unaffected by his tone.
“Yeah, how did I forgot. You are excellent in playing mind games.”
Aron scowled.
“I don’t know how did you came back or how did you managed to trap my brother again but if he got hurt again then this time I will kill you by myself.”
Eira couldn’t understand what he was saying and why would she hurt xavion.
“You better go back, where you came from… How did you managed to do this… huh?… Did you tricked Lucifer too…”
He spat and she frowned.
“Your tricks won’t work on me anymore. You can fool everyone, not me. If you don’t want to die again then Stay away from my brother, whore…”
“What are you guys talking about?…”
They heard xavion and Aron quickly changed his hateful expressions into happy one.
“Nothing, I was just telling her that I am gonna stay here for few more days… I miss our old days, you know…”
Aron said flashing his smile.
Xavion raised his eyebrows suspiciously.
“Really?… Eira?…”
He looked at her and she nodded her head.
“Yes…”
She answered not wanting to confront him till she learns more about the things. Aron must have a strong reason to hate her like this and she wanted to know why is he so angry with her.
“It’s good to see you two getting along…”
He smiled and Aron internally rolled his eyes.
“The girl named Rose from your agency is here with all your belongings and the contract which we both have to sign…”
He informed and she nodded standing up.
They both walked towards the living hall.
“Do you still think that strength is more important than mind in a fight…”
He asked looking at her.
“Yes, strength and skills are more important…”
She said confidently.
“Okay… Then today I’ll show you how wrong you are. And how much power mind holds…”
He said smirking and she looked at him suspiciously as his eyes darted towards the girl who was standing in the hall, tall as Eira but she has black hair and grey eyes.
Rose was standing in the living room and Eira’s luggage was being carried to her bedroom. When Eira saw rose, she bowed in front of her and Rose did the same, greeting each other with respect.
After that Rose turned towards the xavion.
“Mr. Anderson this is the contract you need to sign, please read the terms and conditions before signing…”
She said in totally professional voice, just like Eira was talking on her first day with him. It shows that everyone in the agency are stone cold.
“Sure, Miss Rose but I want you to do something before this.”
Xavion said taking the papers from her hand.
“I am not here to do something else, Mr. Anderson. I just need the sign…”
Rose said coldly.
“I’ll give you the papers and you are free to go but before that you have to fight my men. Defeat them and take the papers…”
He declared and Rose frowned looking at Eira who was standing beside xavion unsure, Rose was a excellent fighter but Eira was not sure if she can fight with The werewolves and win against them.
Rose thought for a second and nodded, After all fighting is her favorite thing.
“It won’t be my responsibility if they die in the process…”
Rose Said looking at him confidently and Xavion chuckled.
“I won’t mind…”
He said smirking.
