John’s pov.
I later called mom to come help me stay with Diana while I go home for a quick shower.
She came over with Diana’s mom and I left after that.
I drove home and headed upstairs.
Only few of the guards were around. Some are guarding the ward Diana is while I’ve sent others to go to where she was shot and see what they could find.
I took the stairs up to my room and went to take a quick shower.
I came out of the bathroom minutes later with a towel wrapped around my waist.
I snatched the hair dryer from the table and turned it on, drying my hair with it.
My phone chimes on the bed and I quickly walked towards it.
I carried it up in my hands and saw it was a message from the man.
‘Found him!’he texted with an attached video.
I tapped on the video and started watching it.
It shows when he was moving inside a building and later he appears on the rooftop, close to the building where Diana was.
He waited for her to come and when she did, he studied her well before releasing a bullet at her.
My hands balled into a fist and I grinded my teeth in exasperation.
‘Make sure to catch him, no matter what, you must catch him.’i texted back.
His call came in almost immediately.
“We just found out he is stowing away to china through a ship in the next thirty minutes. I’m moving towards there with my boys now.”
I nodded as if he could see me.
“If you need backup, do not hesitate to tell me.”I hung up.
I’ll make sure he rot in jail.
Someone might be behind him, both him and the person will not live to see the outside world again.

Aysel’s pov.
“The queen promised to let you go?”Helen asked again.
I stuffed some food into my mouth and nodded.
“Of course. We were young back then. She agreed we only did what we had to do to survive.”I replied.
“What about the boss?”she asked in a whisper.
“Phew.”I demonstrated that he is dead.
Her eyes widened.
“H.. how come?”
“Well, a psychopath suddenly shows up and killed both him and Kelvin. It turns out she is the boss and she has been by the DRS’s side ever since, as their secretary.”I expounded.
Helene nodded her head slowly.
“Then what about her?”
I stopped eating and drop my food.
“If only you would allow me have my pasta in peace.”I sighed.
“She ran away. But the police went after her. I don’t know what happens after that.”I picked up my spoon.
“And, the DRS?, where are they?”
“I don’t know. Helene, stop asking me questions please. This pasta is too good to be cheated on with your curiosity.”
“I met John on my way here. He is here with his wife. She got a shot yesterday.”
“I know that. Thanks to that psychopath tho.”I sighed.
“Aysel.”she suddenly called.
“Huh?”I replied with my gaze focused on the food.
“What do you say about us searching for our family?”
I looked up at her.
“Family?”I scoffed.
“What do you mean?. Didn’t our parents died when we were young?”I asked.
“Yes, but I think we were three.”she said.
I let’s out a scoff.
“Three? As in?”
“I think we still have a sibling.”she cuts in.
I sighed and rolled my eyes.
“You think too much. I don’t think so.”
**
Theo’s pov.
The plan landed in Russia and I stood up with other passengers and alighted down.
“Mr Theo?”someone called.
I looked beside me to see it was a driver.
“Mrs Robinson sent me to pick you up.”he said.
“Oh.”I mouthed.
He came to collect my luggage box.
“This way, sir.”he led the way to the car.
I hopped in and shut my eyes then breathe out.
Why I’m i suddenly nervous?
“Huh.. can you take me to Happiness Orphanage before you drive me home?”I stared at him through the rearview mirror.
“That’s not a problem, sir.”

John’s pov.
I went back to the hospital and decided to go see Aysel first before heading inside.
I got in front of her ward and placed a knock on it before slowly pushing the door in and stepping inside.
I met with their gazes and I gave a nervy smile.
“Johnny!”Helene called with a big smile.
“Hey.”i smiled back before turning to Aysel.
“I heard.. you were injured also. How do you feel now?”
She gave a nod.
“Couldn’t feel any better. Thanks for the check – up.”she grins.
“And, how is your wife also?”
“She.. she is.. oh well, the operation was successful but she is still in a deep slumber.”I pressed my lips together.
“She will wake up soon. She is pretty strong.”Helene reassured.
Aysel looked at her.
“Do you know her personally before?”she asked but Helene shook her head.
“Then, how do you know she is strong?”
Helene passed a nervous smile to me before pulling Aysel’s ear gently.
“I’m sure she is.”she said to her.
**
Jayden’s pov.
“How dare you show your face here?”I frowned upon seeing Mike walk inside my house.
“What do you mean?”he feigned innocent.
I went to grab him by his collar aggressively.
“I said how dare you come in here. Don’t test my patient. We already agreed that we were going to pull that betting or whatever off. But, you still went to meet with her. How dare you?!!”
He smirks.
“Oh, I guess we did. I just felt the poor woman has to know why you approached her. I was just having my fun.”
I punched his face angrily.
He staggered back to the couch and held his cheek.
I panted heavily.
“I like this.”he smiled.
“This is so much fun.”he clicked his tongue.
“I’ll leave. I guess I’m not welcome in your house anymore.”
**
Theo’s pov.
I met with the woman in charge and she led me to a room.
I sat on the chair across to her.
“Do you happen to remember the boy that came here twenty four years back?. He told you his parents got into a car accident and that his name was Theo?. He later got adopted by the Robinson’s family.”I explained.
She paused.
“Theo?, the Robinson’s family?.. oh, I think I remember.”
“This is him.”I pointed at myself.
“Huh?, Oh my God! You’re Theo?. You’ve grown so much.”her eyes roamed around my body happily.
“Erm… do you happen to remember if came here with anyone?..”
“Oh, that’s a long time ago. I don’t remember what exactly happened that time. Let me check if we have anything down here.”she moved to a shelf in the room and browsed through the books before finally picking one out.
She came back to where I was and placed the book on the table while flipping through the pages.
“Oh. It is here. No, you came alone. You didn’t came here with anybody.”
“Oh.”I bent my head, dolefully.
“Alright, thanks.”I stood up.
“Let me have your number. If I remember anything else, I will give you a call.”
I gave her my number and she grinned.
I pulled her into a hug and sighed.
“Thank you. I appreciate what you did for me in the past.”
