“John, your bride is here.”she said to me before opening the door widely.
“Come on, bring her inside.”she uttered to someone behind her.
She moved to the side as a guard came in with a lady lying unconscious in his arms.
“Where do I drop her?”he turned to mom.
I just sat there on the bed, watching. My phone still glued to my ear.
“You birdbrain. Where else would you drop a man’s wife?”mom responded with a scowl.
He gave a bow before dropping her on the bed, just beside me.
“Mom, what the hell is this?. Did I just hear you say bride?, whose bride?”I finally got my tongue.
“You’ve worked hard. Good job.”she patted the guard on his back as he left.
When he was out of sight, she turned to me.
“It’s time for you to be a man, Johnny. That’s Diana, the woman you will be getting married to next month.”
I bursted into laughter. I found her statement funny.
I stopped laughing when I saw the stern face she kept on.
“Wait…”I scoffed.
“Tell me this is a..”
“Don’t worry too much. I already have some reporters to write an article about that. It should be all over the net tomorrow.”she smiled.
My intestines tightened and I nictitated my eyelids fastly.
She turned to leave but suddenly stops and threw back her head.
“You guys should sleep together tonight. I do not mind you getting baby junior in there as well.”she winked and left.
I stared with my mouth opened in shock.
I was more aghast when I heard the lock sound of the door.
“Don’t bother. I have the key with me. I’ll come check up on you guys tomorrow morning.”
And I heard her retreating steps.

Adrian’s pov.
I let’s out a scoff.
“If… I hear you correctly… you said.. ah..”I scoffed again.
“Did I just hear you say marriage?”I chuckled bitterly.
She nodded.
“Please, take your tea before it get cold.”she gestures to the table before me where a cup of tea was placed.
I took in my lips and breathed in heavily.
“Let’s pretend we never meet tonight. I’ll pretend I didn’t heard what you said tonight also.”
“Adrian?. Are you turning down my request now?.”she chuckled.
I snorted. “Listen, if you are saying all this because of the help you rendered to me years ago then stop. I promise I will pay you back in another way.”
“I’m glad you didn’t forgot that you are where you are because of me. Your wedding should take place next month. I’ll choose a perfect date so don’t worry too much.”
“Ma’am!”I yelled.
I blinked back my tears as my mouth shook in terror.
“I have a girlfriend, you certainly know that! Why….”I paused to take a breath.
“I love her and I would never betray her.”I stood up.
“Oh, really?”she clicked her tongue before placing her leg over the other.
“The Idol singer, Adrian dating a woman who is older than him. That will cause quite a scandal, don’t you think?”she said slowly.
I breathed in rage.
“Age is just a number. Love conquers all.”I defended.
“I wish I could believe you.”she laughed.
“Do you wanna ruin my life that much?. You want me to get married to a woman I do not love?”
“That woman, is my daughter. Besides, haven’t you heard of the phrase, love after marriage?. That’s bad then. It’s pretty popular in the romance stories and trust me, that kind of love is always the best.. uhm, sweet too.”
“I see you are a fan of fictions, queen.”I sighed.
“The lady probably isn’t your daughter, cause if she is, you won’t be doing this to her.. and me.”I stomped out of her office angrily.

Ralph’s pov.
I stared at the ceiling, lost in the world I created in my mind.
Why does Juliet keeps appearing and disappearing?
Everytime she did that, I and Snow always end up fighting.
What if Juliet isn’t the woman that we thought she was?
What if she is just toying with us?
She is the reason I and my friends broke up.
We’ve been really tight friends before she came into our lives and both Snow and I fell for her.
Apparently, Snow met her first but after introducing her to us(Duvall and me), she suddenly picks interest in me.
I knew Snow liked her and tried to ignore hee feelings but she became so clingy and even showed her feelings for me openly.
I was swayed by her beauty when we first met also but because I saw the way Snow looks her, I dumped the whatever feeling I felt in a bin and tried to move on.
Something popped into my head and I sat up.
Wait.
This girl said she likes Snow, she even said she likes me, she even said to Duvall that she likes him.
Isn’t… that suspicious?
Why would she confess her love for all of us?
Duvall didn’t know I liked her and when she told him how she felt about him, he came to me and told me everything she said but he said he turned her down as he doesn’t like anything about her..
*She seems sly.*his words from that day echoed in my ears.
I didn’t tell him that she said something of sort to me also.
Just if I had told him, we would have found out what her plan was!
How could she love three guys at the same?

Something is definitely off.
At the end of the day, she managed to charm me up prettily and I was not willing to let her go for the sake of friendship.
Snow found out and was disappointed.
But he still love that girl.
I chuckled at that.
He is the total opposite of me. His love is strong, but mine is just as frail.
One moment, I will love Juliet, the other moment, I would say I didn’t love her.
Snow was ready to give me another chance for us to become buddies again by letting her go, but I refused.
We then turned to Duvall for his opinion but he stood neutral.
We blamed him for being a bad friend and our friendship ended on that spot.
I sighed and drop my head on the pillow on my laps.
My love for Juliet has faded off.
I’m beginning to like someone else now.
That girl, Aysel.
My heart began pounding and I raised up my head and slap it gently.
“Hey, stop that.”I said.
It pounded faster and I slapped it again with widened eyes.
“I said stop!! Don’t.”
It palpitates rapidly and began moving around.
Is he playing games with me right now?
“I’m really gonna sue you if you don’t stop.”
