The words hit Zoe like a bolt of lightning, and the glimmer of hope was still there, but now Pandora’s box was closed. Her face turned pale and her body fell backward uncontrollably.
What had this woman just said, that everyone knew the bad things she had done? And she had informed Zoe’s family. Zoe felt her body lose strength and her blood run cold from head to toe, as if she had been thrown into a river of ice in winter. She looked at Jorge, after all, Jorge was her last hope, would Jorge still help her if he knew what she had done?
But when Jorge saw Raquel leave, he became anxious and ran after Raquel, who has only returned once in many years, and there is no place in Jorge’s heart for Zoe anymore.
Zoe watched Jorge leave and felt she had lost her last hope. Like a deflated ball, she lost all strength. After a while, Zoe looked at Dylan, who was standing next to her, and asked.

-What did you say? Is she Jorge’s youngest daughter who ran away from home? -So the woman was Kennedy’s aunt.
If there had been a shred of luck left in Zoe before, now that luck was gone. For that arrogant woman was actually the youngest daughter in the Carlos family.
She had learned from her grandfather that the marriage had gone wrong and that George’s daughters had severed their relationship with their father, voluntarily relinquished all the assets of The Carlos Family and had not been seen again.
Zoe thought then that Jorge’s daughters would never return, that something had happened to them. But I never thought this would happen today.
Seeing the way Jorge had treated Rachel, Zoe felt desperate, but resigned to the fact that she was so close to success and yet all sorts of things kept happening.
Dylan ignored her and let Zoe rest alone before leaving.
Orlando had just received the news and immediately called his grandson Ruben to go get Zoe from La Familia Carlos. Ruben had mixed feelings about the trip, but his face was so calm that it was impossible to tell what was going through his mind.
Ruben arrived at La Familia Carlos and was guided by Dylan, who looked at him several times and tried to say something, but in the end nothing came out. It was because his own sister had done something so embarrassing, but this emotion was secondary.
More importantly, Ruben was disappointed in Zoe. Because the Espinar family had given Zoe a great learning environment, had raised her with wonderful ideas, and she had done such a thing.
