Chapter 14 Interviews

Book:The Selfish CEO Published:2024-6-2

Speaking of six years ago, Neal Williams couldn’t help but recall her cries of anguish and cries of pain.
It’s not that he hasn’t had a woman in the past six years. It was only later that he realized that that day and she was not even considered sex. They had only the beginning, but not the process, let alone the end. But the events of that day, he somehow remembered clearly.
“So what do you mean now? Allow her into the company?” Garret Miller stared at him.
“You’re not the one who wants her?” Neal Williams looked back, his eyes still warm and untouched.
“Yes, this girl is quite talented, to bring her out certainly not trouble. However, really put in our company, this is like a time bomb. Who knows if she approached you on purpose? Although she did not see you that day, but you can be sure that Ford Smith really did not leak any information about you back then?”
Garret Miller paused for a moment and then cautiously asked, “How many companies did she submit this resume to?”
“Only one copy.”
Garret Miller raised his hand and tossed the resume into the trash without hesitation, “Intentional approach or not, her presence is suspicious. We can’t take that chance!”
Once anything goes wrong with Neal Williams, the problems IG Financial will have to face are unimaginable.
Neal Williams did not speak for a while, just stared down at the garbage can. The eyes are like a clear spring, but they are not deep enough to distinguish between happiness and anger.
Halfway through the day, he walked soberly over, pulled his resume out, and tossed it casually to Garret Miller, “Give her a chance.”
When she was notified of the interview, Andrea Jones just about jumped for joy. The first thing she did was not tell Sammy Jones, Lewis Brown or Klein Williams, but instead made up a message and sent it to the ‘missing person’.
He gets the most credit!
However, this time he did not return to himself in time. I think, the other party should be very busy! Andrea Jones also did not put in mind.

After changing into a suit sent over by Klein Williams early in the morning and putting on a little makeup, Andrea Jones and Sammy Jones headed out together.
The spring sun shines down through the clouds, as if the air is filled with the smell of vanilla, which is so refreshing.
After waving goodbye to her sister, she took the subway and went straight to IG Finance.

When Neal Williams came out of the conference room, he turned his head and instructed Zoey Baker, “Get Manager Yun to come over here.”
“Mr. Miller should be in HR right now, saying he’s interviewing to handpick someone today.”
He paused in his steps and turned to look at Zoey Baker, “Interview today?”
“Hmm. How about I go down and get him?”
“No need.” Neal Williams put the file in Zoey Baker’s hand, “Just leave the stuff on my desk.”
Saying that, he stepped out of the administration department and into the elevator.

The interview room was not very crowded. Only a handful of people made it to the 15th floor after a selection process, and Andrea Jones was one of those few.
When Neal Williams arrived, she was sitting in front of the interviewer to be tested. Garret Miller was sitting in the middle of the room, and he was always friendly and approachable, but this time he was also strict and meticulous.
Neal Williams did not go inside, but stood quietly in the back doorway with his hands in his pockets. From his angle, he could only see her taut, thin back. Hair was tied behind her head, clean and fresh, revealing a snow-white neck with elegant lines.
I could see that she was more or less nervous for such an interview, even if she was well prepared.
In the end, it’s still a child with little experience!
Neal Williams was trying to leave, her interview was just about over at the moment. She got up, bowed to the interviewer, and walked out, blushing and anxious.
When she reached the door, a nervous Andrea Jones almost crashed into the chest of a man. Looked up in fear, but met with a pair of deep eyes.
She froze, subconsciously took a step back and greeted politely, “Mr. Williams.”
Neal Williams is silent.
Today, he is dressed in formal clothes, reserved and serious.
It looks even more superior than the last time I saw it in Ruan’s house. With just one glance, that sense of distance between them was already there.
Andrea Jones certainly didn’t presume that they were related to each other because they were related to Lewis Brown. Not waiting for a response, she gave a small grunt and side-stepped him with the intention of leaving.
Neal Williams is much more difficult to get close to than Lewis Brown, what a serious man!
When he was about to brush past him, his slender elbow was suddenly tugged.
She turned her head and looked at the man pulling her in some dismay.
What’s going on?
“Good performance.” He looked at her lightly and said something that called Andrea Jones wrong.
hesitated, seemingly pondering his intentions. It was a while before she rustily and politely squeezed out two words, “Thanks …”
Neal Williams let go and looked directly at her, “It’s not up to me to decide whether you get into the company or not. I hope you understand that.”
He was businesslike, his tone flat, without a hint of ups and downs.
Andrea Jones was a little uncomfortable dealing with such people and couldn’t help but become formal herself.
“I understand. However, no matter what the result is, thank you Mr. Williams for breaking the rules and giving me the opportunity to have this interview!”
“Hmm.” He nodded lightly in acknowledgement.
Andrea Jones was slightly rushed, “So … if there’s nothing else, I’ll go first.”
This time, he didn’t say anything else, sort of acquiescing.
Andrea Jones turned around and walked a few meters away before she dared to sneak a sigh of relief.
Although Lewis Brown said he was only one year older than himself, his aura was already calm and compelling.
