Chapter 5 The Lost Wallet

Book:The Selfish CEO Published:2024-6-2

At that time, a young man slowly stepped out from the VIP entrance, the noble temperament, handsome as a carved face, just a glance, then took away everyone’s eyes. After a whole month of business trip to New York, he was exhausted at the moment and just wanted to go home and fall asleep.
“Second young man!” Marshall Johnson, the assistant who met the plane, immediately came up and pushed the luggage cart for him.
He loosened the cuffs of his shirt as he slid his jacket off and threw it over Marshall Johnson’s head, “Send me straight back to the yard.”
“Eating with the old lady? Aren’t you sleepy?” Marshall Johnson asked as he helped him carefully arrange his expensive jacket! Hundreds of thousands of dollars!
“Sleep anytime, go back to see grandpa first.”
The two walked and chatted along the way, completely unaware of a leather wallet slipping silently out of that expensive jacket.

The other side.
The young woman had just walked into the airport, holding an antiquated cell phone in her hand.
“Andrea, the plane has landed! Taxi for a 10 minutes or so, and it’s almost out. I have to wait for my luggage, though, so I guess it’ll be a while.” Sammy Jones’ voice was especially clear on the other end.
Andrea Jones smiled, “There’s no rush, take your time, I’ll be waiting for you at exit 1.”
Sammy Jones answered over there and hung up. Andrea Jones looked down to collect her phone and noticed a leather wallet lying on the ground. The people coming and going, all of them walking so hurriedly that they did not notice its existence.
She picked it up and looked around at all the unfamiliar faces, and Andrea Jones couldn’t tell for a moment who the owner was.
It looks like we have to resort to radio!

Marshall Johnson is carrying the luggage to the trunk to go, a look up but see the second young long legs from the car down again, the face is not happy.
“Second young man, what happened?”
“Where’s the wallet?” He lifted the suit in his hand.
“What wallet?” Marshall Johnson looked puzzled.
“Mine!”
“I didn’t take it! I didn’t see it either!” Marshall Johnson shook his head repeatedly.
The second young man grunted and walked back. Once he saw the hurried back, Marshall Johnson did not dare to slow down, locked the car and immediately followed.
The second young man is rarely so nervous, afraid that there are many important documents in the wallet!

Andrea Jones handed the wallet to the radio station, explained the reason for her visit, smiled and nodded, and opened the wallet to find some information about the owner.
It’s a very simple wallet that doesn’t contain much cash, just a few gold cards, and a personal ID.
Andrea Jones didn’t look, but heard the announcer’s sweet voice slowly ringing out, “Mr. Williams, who lost his wallet, please come to the radio room. Here is your lost wallet!”
After hearing the announcement repeated over and over again, Andrea Jones was relieved and wanted to leave. But the announcer stopped her, “Miss, why don’t you wait? If there is any dispute later, we can’t handle it if you leave.”
Disputes?
Andrea Jones was stunned for a moment before remembering the last time a friend returned a cell phone to its owner and was suspected of being a thief. It looked like they were also afraid they had taken something from the wallet by hand.
“Well, then, I’ll stay for now.” Not for anything else, just to prove your innocence.
Andrea Jones sat quietly for a while as the radio played several times, and then the phone rang again. Sammy Jones was yelling at her to get out of the airport, and her luggage was already being pushed in front of the cab.
Sammy Jones has never been a patient person, and Andrea Jones just had to hang up the phone in a hurry.
“I’m sorry, I have to go first.” Andrea Jones said with the announcer.
“Miss, if you have nothing urgent to do, stay a little longer! Maybe the owner will be here soon.”
Andrea Jones didn’t say much, just reached for a public pen at the front desk, tore up another convenience slip, and wrote his cell phone number and name with alacrity.
“If the owner doesn’t come to collect it, please give it to the police station. If anything happens, then have the police department contact me.” Handing the convenience slip to the other party, without waiting for the other party to say anything else, Andrea Jones pushed open the right glass door and hurriedly walked out.
Unbeknownst to her, the glass door on the left was pushed open from the outside at that moment.
An upright figure enters with a sinking step.

“Here is my passport, please check it with the personal documents in your wallet.” The man didn’t say much, just handed the passport to the broadcaster sharply.
The broadcaster stared at the too-handsome face in a completely nymphomaniacal manner.
The ID photo is already very handsome, I did not expect to be so handsome in person! It’s like the number one male lead in a Korean drama! Too man!
The man’s handsome brows knitted slightly. Marshall Johnson looked at the second young man and knocked on the counter, “Miss, our second young man is very handsome, but, or stop looking, hurry up and get busy!”
“Ah! Okay, okay!” Cheeks flushed, the other party hurriedly and embarrassingly lowered his head to pretend to check. A moment to stare at the passport, a moment to look at the ID card, and more often than not, to stare at the living face.
Neal Williams!
What a handsome to let people can not move their eyes man ah!
“All right?” Neal Williams stood there, a little embarrassed, as even the calmest of people squirmed at the back and forth of the stares.
“Okay, make sure it’s yours. Please check to see if there’s anything missing.” The other side was completely cordial and lovely.
Marshall Johnson was busy picking up the wallet and delivering it to him, “Second young man, what’s so important?”
