With a helpless look, Yohan said, “We don’t watch Peppa Pig now.”
“Then what do you like now?” Cristofer asked.
Yohan pouted and said, “Dad, don’t you remember that I like Iron Man? You used to buy me a lot of Iron Man toys!”
Cristofer then quickly pulled up the phone and made a call. “Eva, buy some Iron Man toys.”
“Yes, sir!” Eva quickly opened the online shopping website. While browsing the merchandise, she asked embarrassedly, “Mr. Hans, will I have to pay the bill first? The financial department will reimburse me, right?”
Cristofer was left speechless for a moment. Then he sighed and said, “Send me your bank account number.”
“Okay!” Eva said happily at once. Without hesitation, she quickly sent Cristofer her bank account number.
A few seconds later, she received a message from the bank.
Seeing the amount of the money transferred by Cristofer, Eva asked in surprise, “One hundred thousand dollars? You want me to buy all the Iron Man toys in the toy store?”
“Just go buy the toys quickly,” Cristofer ordered motionlessly.
“Okay.”
With abundant expenditure, Eva finished the task perfectly.

In the CEO’s office, Cristofer immersed himself in his work, checking the emails, most of which were about the design drawings of the new products.
After working for a while, he looked up from the computer and found that the children were in the small reception room. Yohan was saying something, and Yvonne was amused by him and giggling.
“Dad, are you still very busy?” Yohan asked.
“Yes,” Cristofer nodded and smiled at them.
“All right. Take your time. I’ll play with Yvonne here. We won’t disturb you,” Yohan suggested.
Seeing him so good and sensible, Cristofer felt a little guilty.
Then he said gently, “Feel free to tell me whatever you want to do, and I’ll arrange it for you.”
Yohan waved his hands and said, “No, thanks, Dad. I often play with Yvonne alone when Mom is busy working. And I’m used to it.”
When Cristofer heard this, his hand froze. Then he asked, “Has your Mom been busy with her work in the past few years?”
“Yes, she has been very busy and often has to work late,” Yohan answered.
“Do you know what’s the problem in her company?” Cristofer asked.
Yohan nodded and then shook his head. “I just heard from Mom that she didn’t have enough funds and couldn’t afford expensive gemstones. And the profits from the jewelry made of cheap gemstones are low. Therefore, she could only design the original and exquisite jewelry in person. She works hard and always stays up late to draw design drawings.”
“Doesn’t she have enough funds?” Cristofer asked and couldn’t help frowning slightly.
“No,” Yohan answered with a sad look on his face, “When we went abroad, Mom didn’t have much money with her. We could only rent a small apartment. And it took us a long time to make our life better.”
Stunned, Cristofer wondered, ‘Wasn’t Mr. Mysterious rich and powerful? Didn’t he leave any money to Estelle?’
“I saw that there was a large amount of money in Mom’s account, but Mom said that she couldn’t use the money.”
“Why?”
“Mom said the money costs Dad’s life. And she won’t spend even a penny of it,” Yohan answered sadly.

In Hans International Corporation, when Cristofer felt sad because of Yohan’s words, Estelle was plagued by a problem in the Hudson Group.
“Not available?” Estelle asked and bit her lower lip. “Are the cheap small diamonds also unavailable?”
The purchasing department manager said with a worried look, “The Hans International Corporation now makes it hard for all the other jewelry companies to survive! It’s said that Mr. Hans will cooperate with the African gem supplier and monopolize all the gemstones from Africa. In the future, we must either buy gems from Hans International Corporation at a high price or…”
“Or what?”
“Or we can only sell metal jewelry without gems. But the profits from them will be very low and can’t even cover the operational cost of our company…”
Hearing this, Estelle slumped into her chair dejectedly, feeling physically and mentally exhausted.
“Miss Hudson, how about we… ask Mr. Hans for help?”
Estelle did want to ask for help. But the problem was that she didn’t want to ask Cristofer for help.
Now that Cristofer wanted to reconcile with her, if she needed his assistance, he would provide it, with the condition that she returned to him.
Thinking of this, Estelle smiled bitterly. She couldn’t help wondering what Mr. Mysterious would do to help her if he was still alive.
When she was with Mr. Mysterious, he could always calm her down and provide help for her when she was helpless.
‘I indeed have no talent in doing business. All my talent is in jewelry designing,’ Estelle thought.
She had believed that regaining control of the company from York would solve everything. However, once she assumed management of the company, she came to understand that the situation was far more challenging than she had anticipated.
“Miss Hudson, what should we do now?” The manager asked with a worried look.
Estelle didn’t know.
“I’ll explore alternative options. Additionally, inquire about any companies in Hadale that might have surplus diamonds in their inventory. I’ll try to purchase from them,” she stated.
Upon hearing this, the purchasing department manager paused briefly before continuing, “Miss Hudson, there is one boss who hoards gemstones, but…”
“Who’s it?”
“Mr. Klein of Wispeak Corporation.”
Estelle’s face turned pale in an instant.
What Mr. Klein did to her at the golf course on Mount Cloud three years ago ran through her mind, and she felt a chill all over. At that time, Mr. Klein drugged Estelle and nearly assaulted her.
“Miss Hudson, are you okay?” the manager asked, noticing that Estelle looked pale.
“I’m okay,” Estelle quickly answered, gritting her teeth. “Is there anyone besides him with a stockpile of gemstones?”
The manager shook her head and explained, “No, he’s the largest watchmaker in Hadale, and he has a substantial stock of small diamonds used as watch ornaments. Apart from him, it’s unlikely anyone else has hoarded small diamonds.”
Closing her eyes in depression, Estelle buried her face in her palms.
“Miss Hudson, due to the news of York jumping off the building yesterday, our company’s stock price has sharply dropped, and numerous customers are canceling orders, demanding refunds. Unfortunately, we don’t have sufficient liquid assets to process these refunds. If we can’t find a solution to this crisis soon, our company may face bankruptcy,” the manager explained with deep concern.
