‘It’s finally coming to an end.’ Estelle thought, closing her eyes, leaning against the backrest of her chair, and letting out a long breath.
She knew that Mr. Mysterious had been investigating the car accident, and now they could finally bring Melody and Gretchen to justice.
‘No wonder he took me to the amusement park to watch the stars on the Ferris Wheel and proposed to me yesterday. He kept his word. He has helped me fulfill almost all my wishes and do all that he can do for me before we leave here.’

She thought of Mr. Mysterious’ injured arm.
Somehow, she had a sort of feeling that his arm might have something to do with her. But when she asked him about it, he only said that he had to repay what he owed his benefactor in this way.
There is something rather strange about it. Why did Mr. Mysterious’ benefactor ask Mr. Mysterious to repay him in such a way?
“… Estelle? Are you listening?” Aurora asked.
“Yes, Mom. I see. Don’t worry. I’ll handle it and prove Dad’s innocence. He has been wronged these years. I won’t let anyone slander him anymore,” Estelle replied to her.
Hearing this, Aurora sighed and said, “Estelle, after the case closes, let’s let go of the past, shall we? I just want to live a peaceful and simple life and take good care of the children for you in the future. Money is a source of evil. Your father has been a casualty of it. I really can’t bear to lose anyone in my family anymore.”
“Mom, would you like me to take you to live abroad?” Estelle asked.
“Yes!” Aurora said, “Estelle, I… really don’t want to live in this house anymore. I’d rather stay in the hospital. I can’t sleep well here. Everything in this house reminds me of your father. I miss him so much…”
“Mom, we’ll leave here and go abroad soon.”
“Then what are you going to do with the company? Estelle, I know you want to keep your father’s company, but what he cares about the most is not the company but you. As long as you can live a happy life, he will rest in peace in heaven,” Aurora said.
“Mom, don’t worry about it. Someone will help me manage the company,” Estelle comforted her.
“That’s good. By the way, you are going to take the kids to the Hans’ Residence today, right?”

Hearing this, Geoffrey laughed and said, “Miss Hudson, do you think I’m here for the balance payment?”

She stepped back cautiously and looked around, not sure whether Mr. Mysterious would appear in time if she were in danger.
“Miss Hudson, don’t be afraid. I won’t hurt you.”
Estelle, appearing attentive, said, “Geoffrey, let’s be direct. There’s no point in avoiding the main issue.”
“Okay,” Geoffrey said in a friendly tone. “Then, Miss Hudson, please get into the car. You are going to Hans’ House, right? You don’t need to take a taxi. I can give you a ride.”
Estelle shook her head and refused, “No, thanks. I have other plans. I’m not going to the Hans’ House now.”
Geoffrey patted his forehead and said, “You need to go to pick up Yohan and Yvonne first before going to the Hans’ House. Get into the car, and let’s pick up Yohan from school first.”
