When Estelle came back to the room, Henry was sleeping soundly with a smile on his face and seemed to be in a sweet dream. And Mr. Mysterious was sitting on the edge of the bed and gazing at Henry gently with the rims of his eyes slightly red.
Seeing this, Estelle walked up to Mr. Mysterious and said, “Henry’s current condition is very similar to yours before, right?”
Mr. Mysterious grabbed her hand and kissed it. “Yes, our conditions are quite similar.”
Estelle couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards him and offered comfort, saying, “Both of you have experienced the loss of your parents at a young age and struggled with depression. But don’t worry. Henry will eventually recover, just like you did. Dr. Cruise mentioned that Henry’s self-protection mechanism had been triggered, leading to a split personality. When he’s in his secondary personality, he will revert to how he was when his mother was alive. If Henry can maintain living in his secondary personality until he reaches adulthood, it could be beneficial for him.”
“I’ve known that,” Cristofer responded.
“You knew that?” Estelle was surprised. “How did you know?”
“… I guessed it,” Cristofer admitted.
Estelle chuckled and remarked, “You guessed it again? You’re incredible, being able to know everything just by guessing!”
Cristofer pulled her hand, had her sit on his lap, and held her gently in his arms. “Estelle, don’t leave me. Stay with me forever, okay?” he pleaded.
“Why do you suddenly say such words again? I won’t leave you, Sir. I will be with you no matter what happens.”
“I’m still very afraid, Estelle. I’m afraid of losing you. If I suffer a relapse, I will break down. The self-protection mechanism may not necessarily be activated next time. ”
“The next time?” Estelle asked in puzzlement. “Sir, have you ever had a split personality too?”
“Yes,” Mr. Mysterious responded and nodded. Then he added, with his serious expression softening into a gentle smile, “But don’t worry. I’ve recovered.”

Considering Henry’s mental health and personal safety, Ms. Kosslyn ultimately followed Dr. Cruise’s advice and agreed to let Rebecca adopt Henry.
On the one hand, the welfare house had many children but only had insufficient staff to care for them. Adoption provided a better chance to ensure Henry’s safety.
On the other hand, Henry’s illness was a unique case, and everyone believed that a new environment would be more suitable for him to prevent any further self-harm.
Henry didn’t display surprise or excitement upon hearing that he would leave the welfare house. Instead, he blinked his big eyes and asked, “Auntie Rebecca, where is my mother?”
With tears in her eyes, Rebecca held his hand and smiled, “Your mother went abroad to work. Her job is easy, and she is doing well.”
Henry nodded slowly and confusedly asked, “Why didn’t Mom take me with her?”
“Because… Your mom is afraid that you might be unable to adapt to the new life abroad,” Rebecca gently explained.
After a few words, Rebecca coaxed Henry into going home with her happily.
Before leaving, Rebecca, who held Henry’s hand and got into the car with him, thought of something, pushed the car door open, and got out of the car.
She ran to Estelle and Mr. Mysterious and took in every detail of Mr. Mysterious’ appearance. “You really look the same as him…”
Being stared at by her like this made Mr. Mysterious feel uneasy, and he cleared his throat.
It was only then that Rebecca realized her behavior had been inappropriate. With a smile, she apologized, “Sorry. I was just too surprised. Even though you two are twins, you look so much alike that I couldn’t tell who was who. I didn’t mean to offend you. I wish you and Estelle happiness. Estelle, I’ll take good care of Henry. You can rest assured.”
Rebecca had always loved children. Previously, to adopt the girl, she even broke up with Justin and kept a fake marriage with another man.
Therefore, Estelle believed that Rebecca would be good to Henry.
Estelle thought, ‘Fortunately, Miss Kosslyn agreed to let Rebecca adopt Henry, or else Rebecca may have to keep a fake marriage with Howard, who’s a reliable playboy. She’d better stay away from him.’
At this time, Mr. Mysterious’ phone rang.
He took a look at the caller ID on the phone and then walked aside to answer the phone.
“Mr. Hans, our legal department has prepared the materials. We can sue Melody and Gretchen at any time.”
“Okay. Just leave this matter to them,” Cristofer responded abruptly.
“Got it. And… Your will has been drawn up. I have sent it to your e-mail. And I’ve finished other affairs according to your arrangement. All your shares in the company have been transferred to Mr. Lopez. All your cars have been sold, and the money has been transferred to the account you opened for Miss Hudson in the European bank.”
“How much did you sell the cars for?”
“They were sold in a hurry, and the buyers bargained with me, so the cars were sold for only seven-figure dollars in total.”
“That’s enough.”
“Mr. Hans, tomorrow is the weekend, and Miss Hudson will take the children to the Hans’ Residence. Don’t forget to prepare for it tonight.”
“Okay, I see. Tell the legal department to take legal action right now. I want to finish everything and leave here as soon as possible in case of any trouble caused by undue delay.”
“Yes, sir.”
After hanging up the phone, Cristofer returned to Estelle, who was talking with Dr. Cruise, who seemed to know about Henry’s condition.
Noticing Cristofer approaching, Dr. Cruise promptly changed the subject. “That’s all for now. Miss Hudson, if there’s nothing else, I’ll head back. I have a patient waiting for me at the hospital.”
Estelle nodded and expressed her gratitude, “Thank you for your assistance today, Dr. Cruise.”
“It’s my pleasure. Henry deserves all the help he can get. I hope he can lead a healthy and carefree life in the future,” Dr. Cruise replied.
Observing Cristofer standing intimately beside Estelle, he suddenly realized that they were a couple. A smile appeared on his face as he said, “Miss Hudson, don’t worry. The patient I mentioned to you earlier has recovered. I believe Henry will also recover soon.”
“That’s great. Thank you, Dr. Cruise.”
Dr. Cruise then said goodbye to them with a smile, “I’ve got to go now. Bye.”
After watching Dr. Cruise leave, Estelle took Mr. Mysterious’ arm and said, “Sir, let’s go home now.”
Mr. Mysterious nodded. “Okay. Let’s go.”
However, Mr. Mysterious didn’t take her back to the Rose Garden.
When the motorcycle stopped, Estelle was stunned when she saw the amusement park in front of her.
