Chapter 36 Have You Get Laid With My Son-In-Law?

Book:Crush on You Published:2024-5-1

Which woman can be immune to Quinn’s charm? Let alone she has spent days in such close proximity with him. So inevitably she desires him.
However, their marriage is fake. If she takes it seriously, she is stupid.
Actually she should be grateful that Quinn let her see the lip print, or she will try to manage the marriage like a fool, which makes her disgraced.
Quinn doesn’t answer her. Instead, he asks, “Suppose when you’re dating with your boyfriend and one day he tells you he has a kid, will you be with him?”
She immediately understands what he means, so she answers, “You can’t suppose. Everyone’s characteristic is different so their ways to solve problems varies. I think I’ll make an argument with him and then have a talk with him. If I can’t trust him after talking, breaking up is the only choice. The woman in your heart broke up with you because of Wiphy?”
Quinn expresses no opinions.
“You can tell Wiphy’s origin to my parents and me. Why didn’t you tell her? I think she can understand it.”
Quinn answers her by standing up and going upstairs.
Seeing the wine glass and empty hall, Yaffe lay on the sofa and stared at the large ceiling lamp.
She feels her heart beating and says in mind, “Yaffe, bear it for the sake of money. If you are dumped, find some fresh meat with the money. Leave Quinn to women of his social class.”
She suddenly understands why Quinn and his family told her and her parents about Wiphy’s origin.
They aren’t afraid she and her parents will reveal it because of the large gap between the family backgrounds.
Because the He family knows as long as her family is sensible enough, they won’t do such a thankless thing.
At the thought of this, she feels bitterly disappointed.
In the past, she never thought her family was poor. When she was young, she never lacked money and when she started to work, her salary is not low. However, after meeting Quinn, she soon becomes inferior.
She signs and collects the wine bottles and glasses hopelessly and then goes upstairs for sleep.
The next day.
Yaffe wakes up as usual. She looks around the strange room for a moment and then realizes where she is.
She is absence of mind for some minutes on the bed, and then rubs her face, getting up to wash face and rinse mouth.
She thinks she might be sleepless last night but she didn’t wake up until this morning.
How inattentive she is.
After washing up, Yaffe gets herself dressed up and goes out of the room.
She hears the noise on the first floor, she walks in this direction.
A middle-aged woman in the kitchen hears the footsteps. She turns around and greets with a smile, “Good morning, Young Mistress. I’ve prepared you breakfast. Please wait in the dining hall.”
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome. Lord and Madam call me Aunt Liu. You can call me Aunt Liu as well.”
“OK.” She goes to the dining hall and takes a seat.
Soon Aunt Liu brings the rich breakfast there. The portion is small. It seems only for herself.
“I eat it alone?”
“Lord and Young Master have had breakfast and they are jogging by the lake. You can find them there after breakfast.”
“I see.” Yaffe starts to have breakfast. When she sees Aunt Liu stay with her, she feels confused and asks, “Anything else?”
“No. I’m just waiting.”
Yaffe is a bit embarrassed, saying, “You don’t have to do so. I’ll collect it after eating. I’m not used to it if you stay with me.”
“All right. I go upstairs for cleaning the room. Please leave the plates here when you finish breakfast. I’ll collect them later.”
Yaffe nods.
She doesn’t feel comfortable until she sees Aunt Liu disappear at the corner of Floor 2.
She is not used to rich people’s life.
After having breakfast, Yaffe cleans up the plates.
She doesn’t do it on purpose.
It’s not energy-consuming to do the washing. It’s just unnecessary to have them washed.
She spends some time in the hall. Since it’s fine outside and she has digested, she goes upstairs for the phone and leaves the villa.
She makes a call to her mum.
The first question Monismith asks when she picks up the phone is “Babe, have you laid up with my son-in-law?”
Yaffe rolls the eyes, “Ms. Lo, please be reserved.”
“Did you sleep together last night?”
Yaffe: “…”
“You’re a woman at 26. Don’t be shy. Tell me about it and I’ll share my experience with you.”
“Thank you so much. It’d be better for you to share it with Yannick.”
“If your Dad knows it, he won’t talk with me for 3 days.”
“I don’t wanna talk with you right now.”
“There’s an old saying that a daughter marries is like water spilt. That’s true. You don’t love me as soon as you get married.”
“You’re right. I don’t love you.” Yaffe smiles.
“Got it.”Monismith’s voice sounds relaxed, “tell me why you call me.”
“Nothing serious. Yesterday many relatives from Grandpa and Grandma attended the wedding. I didn’t greet them. What’s your arrangement? Shall I help you?”
“Hasn’t my son-in-law told you?”Monismith asks in confusion.
“What?”
“He and his parents have arranged a special bus to take us travel around. All inclusive. We won’t be back until the end of 1 January.”
“Hah? All of them?”
“All that can come have joined us. We two families seldom have chances to travel together. It’s really a good opportunity. Quinn’s parents are considerate. They have even planned the tour route.”
Yaffe is a bit touched although she doesn’t show it. She says, “Have a nice trip. Take more pictures.”
“We will. Have a nice time with Quinn and try to give birth to a grandchild for me.”
“You want so much.”
“Of course.” Monismith smiles. Yaffe can hear the relatives’ voices from her side. They seem to be happy. Monismith says, “Ok, enjoy your honeymoon. I won’t disturb you.”
“Safety first.”
“I know. Bye.”
Yaffe is absent-minded. She looks ahead with the phone in hand.
Quinn and his family are so considerate.
If they get divorced later, how can she explain to Grandpa and Grandma?
She shakes her head in avoidance of these questions.
Perhaps she is the only person who considers divorce on the first day of marriage.
She picks a road randomly and walks on it.
After walking for a while, she finds all roads here point to the lake side.
It’s not a man-made lake, but a natural one on the hill.
The lake is clear and clean with bared trees and stones. So it looks bleak and chilly.
In the shinny sunlight, the lake is like a mirror.
The hill and the sky make the lake view beautiful.
