After shopping with Quinn, Yaffe had developed a low-esteem.
The result had been astonishing.
Besides clothes, footwear and scarves, they also bought a few bags, as well as perfume, cosmetics and skin care products.
At first, Yaffe tried to calculate the total costs, but when the total amount jumped to seven-figure, she smartly chose not to calculate any more.
The shopping spree tonight cost is the total of a few years of her income, if she doesn’t even eat or drink.

“You’ll get used to it. As a man, letting a woman release the safety belt and open the car door herself is a sign of failure.”

Both of them carried these all kinds of shopping bags to Yaffe’s house.
Quinn carried the heavier and bulkier bags, while Yaffe carried a few small bags.
Yaffe, who had been raised as a boy, suddenly felt awkward.
When Yannick saw them came into the house, hands full of bags, he was very satisfied. “Have you got dinner already?”
“Yes we did.”
Monismith stepped forward to take the bags, and invited Quinn to sit down.
Quinn took out two bags. The bags look unpretentious, but the material looked valuable.
“Uncle and auntie, previously my parents and I were presumptuous to come over directly. Neither did we prepare any gifts for both of you. These two small gifts are a token of our gratitude, please accept them.”

After sending off Quinn, Yaffe lay on the bed after a shower, looking at the dozens of shopping bags that are still intact.

The groom would ignore the bride’s feelings in order to save money or eliminate potential problems.
Getting married to a girl, to put it bluntly, is to leave her parents who had been raising her for twenty plus years, and to live with a man whom they have known for a few years or months in the name of love. She would have to call two people who have never raised her father and mother, to take care of them, and to devote energy, youth and hard work to this new family.
But the groom is unwilling to arrange the most basic of etiquette, a comfortable wedding for the bride.
After taking into account that many female colleagues almost break up due to wedding arrangements, it is difficult for Yaffe to appreciate what Quinn had done.
Maybe her wedding to Quinn could be a good idea.
With that, Yaffe drifted into dreamland.

Quinn personally sent and picked up Yaffe for work every day, and the marriage announcement by the He Group had resulted in a change of view of the people in Youndgon Hospital. But that also resulted in more apparent envious and jealousy from female colleagues and female patients.

Finally, Saturday arrived.

Monismith looked at daughter getting dressed, and laughed, “Oh, my girl look so beautiful when she dresses up.”
“Madam Lo, are you serious?”
“Of course I am.”
Yaffe gave her a look of disbelief, then look at the mirror for a while after tying her hair into a ball.
“Mom, what do you think if I cut my hair short?”
“Don’t do that! You look great with long hair.”
“But short hair is more suitable for my job.”
“The doctors and nurses in your hospital did not cut short hair. It has zero relation to your profession.”
“Whatever.”
Monismith looked at Yaffe and asked, “Honey, are you nervous?”
“How can I not be? I’m going to meet the in-laws.”
“They look like reasonable people, and they are not like those soap operas on TV. Don’t worry.”
“Madam Lo, were you nervous when you meet my grandpa and grandma?”
“Haven’t you heard that embarrassing story s many times? Our situation was different from yours and Quinn. I am one year older than your father, and back in those days, that kind of relationship wasn’t popular. It was tedious at best. What you have right now is just great. You have your own job, a decent family, and a capable character, so it is not surprising for someone like you to get married into a wealthy family.
“Mom, you have a great way of complementing your daughter.”
“I’m serious. Go ahead. Quinn’s car has just arrived.”
“See you later, Mom.”

When Quinn stopped the car, he saw the door to the block opened.
He laughed when he saw Yaffe stepping out, “Woman, do you go on date often? You are very punctual!”
“If a doctor has no sense of timing, it could result in the death of a lot of patients.” Yaffe did not wait for Quinn to get off, but opened the car door and got in herself.
Quinn look at her amused, and saw that she is carrying a bag of things, “A gift for my parents?”
“Yeah. If the girts are not valuable, would they mind?” Yaffe asked anxiously.
“It is the intention that counts.”
“Boss He, you are a crowd pleaser.”
“Of course,” laughed Quinn as he drove off. “We businessmen rely on our communication skills. If we cannot ‘convince’ people to do what we want, we would be broke already.”
