Yaffe doesn’t know whether her eyesight stays longer on the word “wife”, or the rest of the sentence.
After sending that long sentence, Quinn doesn’t send anything more.
Yaffe has typed several words, but she finally deletes them all.
She has thought of many ways of getting married, but none of them would be like this.
Yaffe never belittles herself. She knows that her appearance is attractive, her age is not too old, her job is promising, and her family is middle-class.
Any girl like her could find an ideal person to marry.
Love should be the only meaning of her marriage, rather than getting married very soon like her current situation.
Even herself doesn’t really know when she got married.
Not only her parents couldn’t accept getting married in this way, but also Yaffe herself can hardly accept it.

Monismith sees Yaffe staring at the phone when she comes out with dishes.

“Your grandpa feels unwell. Dad comes to take care of your grandpa. ”
“Grandpa is sick?” Yaffe is so surprised that her chopsticks drop.
“It’s his gout. Relapsing again.”
“Let’s go to see grandpa this afternoon.”
Monismith glances at Yaffe, “Going to your hometown is the last thing you wanna do. Why are you so willing to this time? Are you hiding anything from me? ”
“I am a doctor. It is not appropriate if I won’t go to see grandpa when he is sick. ”
“You’re right. Then hurry up and eat, you have to pack the new cotton-padded clothes and trousers I bought for your grandpa after the meal.”
“No problem.” Yaffe replies vaguely and starts to sweep the food on the table.

After lunch, Yaffe quickly grabs all they need to bring back to her hometown, and urges Monismith to hurry up.
“Yaffe, do you have to be this hurry?”
“Yeah. Hurry up so that your daughter won’t be caught and cut into pieces. ”
Monismith rolls her eyes, but still follows Yaffe downstairs.
When Yaffe drives her car out of the block, she sees the familiar Maserati.
She is so nervous that she uses the accelerator as a brake.
Her car rushes out so far that it almost causes a traffic accident.
Yaffe drives away without apologizing.
Monismith glances at Yaffe, grits her teeth and says, “Honestly, what did you do? I promise that I won’t kill you if you tell me the truth.”
“Nothing. Really nothing. ”
Monismith becomes mad, “You think your mom is blind, or stupid? Yaffe I tell you, if you don’t tell me the truth, I won’t help you talk to dad.”
“Forgive me, madam.”
“I won’t buy it even if you call me your majesty. Is it related to Quinn?”
“How would you know?”
“You think I bought those magazines for decoration? Does the Maserati across the road belong to Quinn?”
“Mom, you should really go to be a detective.”
“Don’t try to distract me. Just tell me what happens between you two.”
“He proposed to me.”
Monismith is silent for a few seconds. Suddenly she realizes what Yaffe said, she screams and then asks, “Did you say yes?”
“Not yet.” Yaffe forces herself to say.
“Reject!” Monismith answers without hesitation.
“Why?”
“Businessmen are cunning and treacherous, you are not competitive to them. Quinn is even at the top of them, there’s no good for you to be with him.”
Yaffe falls into silence.
Monismith looks at her daughter, “Would you like to say yes?”
“I think he’s good.”
“You love his face or his money?”
“What do you think?”
Monismith says to Yaffe, “Mom is not surprised that you have a crush on him. The problem is that would he love you back? Are you prettier or smarter than those girls around him? Why would he love you?”
“Mom, can you just stop?”
“I’m just telling the truth. I never meddle in your own business, you can do whatever you like. But you didn’t do well in Zeow Zhou’s issue. So I’m not confident in your ways of dealing with love affairs.”
Yaffe scratches her head, thinking about how to mention her marriage with Quinn.
After a while, she stumbles, “But, mom, I seem to like He Quinn now. Can you help me talk to dad?”

Yaffe is driving with one hand, and uses the other hand to grab the marriage certificate from her pocket.
Looking at the little booklet, Monismith’s face suddenly changes.
“Good job, Yaffe. Good job!”

Quinn sits in the car, watching that little POLO car driving away, his smiles playfully.
Then he calls his parents, “You guys can go home. Your daughter-in-law just took my mother-in-law away. ”
“What’s wrong with you? Are you taking me and your mother to have fun?!” Karmier roars at his phone.
“Come on! I don’t have time to play with you two. We got the certificates already. Meeting with in-laws is just two days later. Apparently, my wife doesn’t like me so far. You guys better think about how to solve this problem for me.”
“You can’t even handle your own wife. What’s the point of making so much money?” Karmier roars again.
Quinn takes his phone away for a short distance, until it becomes quiet, he says, “Didn’t I keep it for you and your wife?”
“That’s bullshit. How can you call your mom like this? ”
“Did I say anything?”
Karmier is too angry to hang up the phone.
Quinn puts the phone down, then he realizes that his tone of speaking to his dad Karmier seems to be back to five years ago.
He purses his lips slightly.
That woman has such a big influence on him.

Yaffe has stayed at her grandpa’s nervously for two days, and deliberately avoided the sight of her parents.
She knows she can’t avoid them forever.
At least she gave her parents two days to accept the fact that she is married, thus she would be less scolded after coming back home.
The family of three is silent on the way back to Chandely.
Yaffe tries to start conversations several times, but no one responds to her.
After finally back home, they come across two middle-aged man and woman with extraordinary appearances.
