At the gate of the hospital, a brand new luxurious RV (recreational vehicle) is waiting outside, which attracts a large crowd as well.
Yaffe doesn’t want to show the whiteness of her eyes at all. She drafts the words that she wants to tell Wiphy in her mind.
The housekeeper opens the door for her.
As she gets into the warm car, she finds Wiphy on the little sofa with pink cheeks. Obviously he is much better.
The formal suit, spotlessly clean leather shoes and soft hair fixed by hair spray make him look like a doll in the shop window.
Upon seeing her, the boy’s grape-like eyes light up. He stretches the chubby arms to her reliably.
Yaffe’s mind draft was nearly destroyed by this action.
She shakes his warm and soft hands, asking, “Have you recovered?”
The boy nods and climbs onto her knees automatically.
Yaffe feels embarrassed to push him away, so she doesn’t refuse him.
The boy writes on the mini Ipad, “You lie to me!”
“I’ve been busy with my work.”
“Isn’t it because you don’t like me?”
“Of course not.”
The boy looks at her with relief.
After thinking for a moment, Yaffe continues, “Babe, I need to work. The RV is too ostentatious. So could you not come here?”
The shiny smile suddenly disappears from the Wiphy’s face. He looks at her aggrievedly.
Yaffe is so sorry for it, so she adds reluctantly, “If you wanna see me, you can call me and I’ll see you after work.”
Wiphy looks a bit better, writing, “Really?”
“Sure.”
Wiphy writes, “Dad usually says people should be grateful to those who have offered help. You take care of me when I am sick, so I can promise you a request.”
After reading these words for several times, Yaffe replies, “No. Thanks.”
“I have to.”
“I don’t need anything.”
“Then can you be my mummy? I have Dad, but I don’t have Mum.”
“I’m an ordinary doctor. I can’t be your mum.” Yaffe says blandly.
Wiphy pauses for a while and writes, “Ok. You don’t need to be my Mum temporarily. Can you have dinner with me?”
Yaffe looks at his wishful face and feels hard to refuse, “All right. After dinner, you have to go home with the housekeeper.”
Wiphy nods tamely. He sits on her knees for a hug.
…
The car stops in front of a high-class restaurant. The housekeeper opens the door for them.
Wiphy goes forward with his back straight.
Yaffe feels helpless after seeing this.
Her salary doesn’t allow her to afford even a meal here.
When they are seated, the housekeeper orders food for them and leaves.
Only Wiphy and Yaffe are left in such a big box.
Wiphy raises the glass of warm milk in his hand. Yaffe knows what he means, so she raises the cup and toasts with him.
Hearing the crispy sound, Wiphy dissolves into childish laughter.
Yaffe also smiles and finishs up the drink.
When Wiphy sees her finish the drink, a weird light flashes in his eyes.
Yaffe catches the flash. She is puzzled and asks, “What’s wrong?”
Wiphy shakes his head.
Yaffe ate for a while, but suddenly she feels dizzy and sees double of Wiphy.
She shakes her head, trying to make herself focus, but the dizzy feeling is getting serious.
Wrapping his arms around his chest, Wiphy calmly watches her faint by the table.
Then he smiles cunningly.
He takes out the Ipad, writing, “Dad, where are you?”
Quinn: Making money!
Wiphy: Where are you making money?
Quinn: Where do you think I am?
Wiphy sends him a wronged Emoji.
Quinn ignores him.
Wiphy continues writing, “Dad, I send you a gift.”
Quinn: “You haven’t fully recovered. What are you fussing about? ”
Wiphy: “Do you want it?”
Quinn: I have no interest. Don’t bother.
Wiphy: I send the gift to your company!
Quinn: No!
Wiphy: Accept it, or I’ll run away from home!
Quinn: … Leave it in my bedroom. I’ll open it tonight!
Wiphy: OK!
Yaffe feels dizzy. She finds the sleep made her especially tired.
Her chest seems to be pressed by someone and she can’t breathe at all.
She grits her teeth, trying to open her eyes. Then she becomes frightened by the furnishings of the room and sobers completely.
All senses come back to her. Her body seems to fall apart and she is so painful that she can’t lift a hand.
However, a warm arm is wrapping around her waist.
Feeling surprised, Yaffe turn around with her lips trembling.
Quinn’s good-looking face comes into her sight.
Yaffe opens her eyes and looks unbelievably at the man who is still in sound sleep, her mind in a whirl.
Being silent for seconds, she moves the hand around her waist away and tries to leave the bed.
As soon as her feet touch the carpet, she is pulled back by a pair of forceful arms and trapped between the soft bed and Quinn.
Quinn slowly opens eyes. At the sight of Yaffe, he has a sense of dislike.
But it disappears very soon and he puts on an expression of jocosity.
He says hoarsely, “You treated me in that way last night. Now you wanna deny it?”
His warm breath touches her delicate skin, making her trembling slightly.
Yaffe’s face flushes when she glances at the tooth print on his shoulder.
But when thinking of what happened the day before, Yaffe is angry. She says sneeringly, “Don’t touch me!”
Quinn lifts her chin, “You are unhappy?”
“Why shall I be happy?” Yaffe tries hard to push him away, but fails.
Wherever his palm touches her, she shivers up and down as if the current is passing by.
“Marry me, won’t you? I love you and Wiphy likes you as well. You won’t have annoying parents-in-law and you’ll have endless money. All women dream of marrying me, but only you avoid me like plague.” Quinn fixes his dark black eyes on Yaffe, saying, “Are you doing it on purpose?”
Yaffe is so angry that flames seem to come out of her eyes. She stares at Quinn angrily and quickly attacks a vital point in his waist.
As Quinn is unable to move right now, she pushes him away and leaves the bed.
She picks up the clothes scattering on the carpet and puts them on quickly in the bathroom.
When she goes out of the bathroom, Quinn has put his clothes on as well. He leans against the wall opposite the bathroom.
Hickey can be seen clearly in the places where his collar does not cover.
Yaffe feels pretty embarrassed.
Was she that rude last night?
Quinn looks up at her, saying, “I’m sorry for what I said just now. But I am serious that I wanna marry you.”
Yaffe ignores him. She passes him, about to leave the room.
Quinn catches her writs, “Is it so difficult to marry me?”
“I’ll not marry the one who plays tricks on me.” Yaffe replied in a cold tone, “I admit when you made a proposal to me, I was satisfied, but that was all. It’s true that I am not as rich as you, but I don’t lack money. I won’t… “
