“It’s a commercial secret. I can’t tell you!”
Joanna smiled and shook her head. “But in the future, there will be more cooperation. I can only tell you that Mr. Vincent is a very capable man, and just now in the meeting room, I could tell he cares about you.”
“He cares about me?”
“I’m afraid it is just for the sake of face. The whole team has eaten his breakfast, and if I don’t, I would embarrass him and might not get what I want. So, I just follow him.” Ana looked lovely and whispered.
“It’s funny.”
Joanna was amused by Ana. She picked up her contract and then left
When she reached the door, she stopped. “Miss Ana, sometimes what you see may not be true.”
This baffled Ana, and she asked, “Miss Joanna, what does this mean?”
“Sometimes, the nose works better.”
Joanna finished, wearing a faint smile, left with the assistant.
Sometimes your nose works better.
Ana suddenly remembered what Vincent did yesterday. Was there really something in the coffee? She could clearly see the coffee marks on Adrian’s face. They must be fighting because of the coffee.
Had she wronged Vincent?
Ana wanted to make it clear, but she didn’t want to meet Vincent alone, so she said to Miriam, “Miriam, gather the members of our team and go to Mr. Vincent’s office to thank him for bringing us such a big project.”
A group of people rushed to Vincent’s office.
Vincent was lying on the sofa, fast asleep. All of a sudden, a group of employees came in and he immediately sat up on the sofa.
“Ana, what are you doing here?”
“We’ve come to thank you and take with us to make money.”
Miriam, on the other side, immediately explained what they were there for.
“As leader, that’s what I should do. Go back to your work. Ana, stay here.”
Vincent waved away the other employees.
When Vincent and Ana were left in the office, Ana suddenly became nervous. She was sitting on the couch feeling uncomfortable and said, “Vincent, I was wondering about that cup of coffee yesterday. Is there something wrong with the coffee?”
Vincent thought for a moment. “I’ve explained everything to you, but you won’t believe me!”
“I was angry at that time. How could I believe it?”
Ana knew that she had wronged Vincent. She left the office, ran downstairs and bought the best coffee, then returned to the office and put it in front of Vincent, “This cup of coffee is regarded as my gratitude for you, although I know it is not enough, but!”
“That’s enough. We don’t owe each other.”
Vincent picked up the coffee, feeling elated. He thought it was the best cup of coffee in the world because it was bought by Ana.
But he did not show it. Instead, he said, “Now you have accomplished 20 million. But you are the business director I have cultivated, and it is easy for you to gain millions of orders. So, I think eighty million is too small.”
Ana was originally grateful to Vincent. However, what he said made her thanks for him completely vanish.
“Go on, what do you mean?” Ana asked, looking gloomily.
