Vincent stood up, bent over Adrian, and said, word by word, “When I see you doing business with Ana again, I wouldn’t just hit you…”
“Vincent, what are you doing?”
Ana stood at the door, dumbstruck by what was happening inside the office.
She just went out to make a call.
By the time he came in, Adrian was beaten up by Vincent.
“Ah! He won’t let me discuss business with you. Let’s call it a day. He’s a madman.”
Adrian rolled his eyes, got to his feet, let out a roar, and bolted for the door.
Ana looked at Adrian as he ran away, the confusion in her eyes fading into anger. She immediately came to Vincent and said, “Vincent, I want to know why don’t you let him discuss business with me?”
“I don’t want to explain it to you.”
Vincent didn’t like to explain. As long as Ana was safe, his job was done.
“I don’t think you can explain.”
Ana looked into Vincent’s cold eyes, gritted her teeth with tears in her eyes. “You simply don’t want me to do business because you’re afraid that after I accomplish the 80 million of orders, you can’t get custody of Carrie.”
“Whatever. I don’t mind what you think.”
Vincent slowly left the Glory Mall with his hands in his pockets.
“Vincent, how could you be so unreasonable?”
Ana followed him, saying, “If you have made up your mind to take Carrie away in the first place, there’s no need to give me the 80-million-task contract. You’re so powerful, then you just take Carrie away. Why waste time with me?”
“Follow me on my business, and beat up my client while I make a phone call. You saved my life last time, but what about this time?”
A Rolls Royce slowly came along.
“If I say Adrian is mean to you, do you believe me?”
“Do you feel I will believe you?”
“Well, that’s why I won’t explain it to you.”
Vincent pushed the door open and tried to get in the car to leave, but Ana grabbed his arm.
“Vincent, why do you have to get involved in others’ business?”
“You are so unreasonable! Give me back the clients!”
Ana clenched her teeth and held on to Vincent, refusing to let him go. She was really angry with him. She felt that Vincent was a terrible man and changeable.
He was serious when he was at work, but after work, he was a different person.
Was Vincent moody because of his bad temper?
“The world will never reason with the weak!”
Vincent got in the car and looked at Ana. “Think of it as me destroying your client, but what could you do? If you want to hit me in the face, be strong. When you have enough strength, you can fight me back at will.”
“Let’s wait and see, I will not let you go.”
Ana got mad and squatted down on the ground.
The door opened and Vincent got out. “What happened?” he asked.
“It’s none of your business.”
Ana flung Vincent’s arm away and stopped a taxi and left.
Vincent told Pham to follow Ana.
Seeing Ana enter the villa, he was relieved and left.
“Boss, what’s going on?”
Pham looked confused. When he drove the car over, he saw them arguing furiously.
“Nothing!!”
Vincent smiled and said, “Help me contact Joanna, the owner of the Golden Mall. I will invest 30 million into her company. The condition is that she will cooperate with Ana.”
“Okay.”
Pham nodded softly.
