Wendy has made her decision after she heard from Rain. She walks to the King, soon, she stands outside the Royal Palace. The guards seem like waiting for her already, they don’t stop her but welcomes. “Doctor Wengela, please, the King is waiting for you.”
“Then please bring me to him, thanks.” Wendy replies politely, feeling tense. She passes those old places she used to be with Sung, recalling her old memories with the person she loves. She passes the beautiful garden surrounding with the big lake, the small lane with flowers, the path with white marble stones… However, her mind is still messy on her way to the King and Rain’s pregnancy. “He will be a good father, making a lovely family, Rain is not a bad woman. I should congratulate to them.” Wendy thinks, putting her hair behind the ears and breathe heavily. She tries to run away from here for so long, then the fate brings her back again. How funny of this world?! She might not be able to see Sung again from today. By then, she’s there, outside the main gate of the library.
“Welcome, Doctor.” Dan welcomes her in sorrow.
“So the King is there right?”
Dan nods with a bow, “Yes, Doctor, please go in.” Dan thinks he may call her “Princess” or “Empress” or “Concubine” when she steps out. The King sits on his golden dragon chair, reading a book, hearing the footsteps he looks up, “You are here…”
Wendy takes a bow, “See you again, my King, Wendy is here now.”
“No, your name is Wengela!”
“My King, you know who I am already. No need to fool yourself. I am Wendy, your old Wendy.”
The King throws his book down, “I said your name was Wengela, then you are Wengela from today!”
“Then, fine, I am Wengela, call me anything you like!” Wendy smiles, very calm. The King stands up and walks to her, grabbing her chin up, looking into her eyes, “Such a couple, I know you here to save him out.”
“My King, I have back three months ago, but I never see him, do you know why?”
“How could I trust your words?” The King quests in an unpleasant tone.
“If I see him, you will find out always, right?! That’s one thing you can prove. I don’t get it why you push so hard to see me?” Wendy gives him a wry smile. The King continues, “Don’t you fool me with your acting.”
