“Why?? It’s all your fault! I should marry Wendy tonight, not her!” He grabs her collar, behaved like a drunk bastard. She replies with calm and sympathy, “I know you didn’t forget my sister, you marry her all because she looks like a little bit Yasmin right? Three years, my majesty, you should let her go…” Her sympathy staring makes him fresh, he shouldn’t blame to anyone, it’s all his fault for today! He knows this well than anyone else!
He shuts up, lets her go and strides out.
He then moves to Wendy’s place, it’s no one there. Sunny has slept except Sen sitting in the yard. She’s drinking, sipping the white alcohol from her dedicated wine glass. “Majesty, why are you here? Are you suppose to be with Princess Rain?” Sen asks in surprise.
“What are you doing here? It’s late.”
“I’m memorizing.”
“To whom?!”
“The Queen. She used to be my master and she is a nice wise woman.”
Sung sighs, thinking of his grandma, “Do you know where is Wendy?”
“She’s fine, I can promise. I have promised the Queen to protect her well…”
“Then why you don’t stay with her? How do you know she can protect herself?”
“She needs peace and I will give it to her.”
Sung sneers, “Then you know her all the time even the day I asked you, why you didn’t tell us? You like to watch us searching like hell right?”
Sen finishes her drink, “I know, your majesty, but it’s my duty to not tell… please forgive me.”
“Then can you bring a message to her if you go to her tomorrow?”
“Go ahead!”
Sung sighs, “Tell her I miss her, please go home soon.”
Sen nods, “I promise I will let her know!”
“Do you have paper and brush? I want to write her a letter…”
Sen pauses then ushers him inside, “Yes, go ahead, my majesty.”
Sung sits and writes fast, hands a folded paper to Sen, “Make sure she replies back!”
Sen seems to doubt, “Well, that one I can’t promise…”
“Well, you may say something nice to her about me, just say I miss her as hell, to make sure she will write something back to me?!”
Sen shrugs her shoulders, no responding. Cool as a soldier. Sung sighs, “Fine, I will sleep here tonight, you may rest. It’s late.” Sen tries to persuade him, but she doesn’t, “Ok!” She knows how lonely of him tonight. Same as hers.
Rain feels sad in Sung’s room, she doesn’t get it why he leaves her without a reason. She sighs and notices she must sleep alone tonight, on their first wedding night. She takes her clothes off, watching those seeds like peanuts, lotus or small apples under the coverlet, which means good luck and have a good healthy baby in the future, she laughs at herself. She gets insomnia, that’s for sure. She misses home, and her brother, General Yuan, who used to tell her about Sung.
“He must be a loyal man, who loves his died Princess for so long… So be careful, my sister, he may not love you that much.” She agrees now, this man may try to keep distance with her, she could see from tonight. However, she can’t give it up, her mission is to take care of this new husband.
