After a while, the moment they talk, Charlie finally wakes up, he cries ay once when he sees his mom, “Mom, mom, why you don’t come for me? I’m so scared!”
“It’s fine, Charlie, it’s fine now, my little babe, mom and dad is here, no one can hurt you now.” Zena comforts him, hugging and patting his back caresses.
“Those people are bad, bad people, they yell at me and hit me! Charlie doesn’t like them!” Charlie vents all his stresses and frightening out. Zack gets a bit upset, he will be a man soon, he shouldn’t cry like a baby. “Charlie, listen to me, you will be a man like dad in future, we men don’t cry we are tough as soldiers. Same as your uncles, we never cry, so you can’t cry from now on, you have grown up do you understand?”
Charlie pouts his mouth, argues, “But my godmother said I could, cause I’m a kid!”
“What godmother, what are you talking about Charlie?” Zena asks in doubt.
“She said she was, when we were in the small dark room. She said she’s here to save me out. She said I could cry! You go ask her then!”
“Wait, she was a bad woman, Charlie, she took you away right?” Zack explains.
“No, no, she is good! She came to save me! Some bad uncles took me that day, not her! Don’t say her bad dad! She and Coral saved me out!”
“What? Coral, your Uncle Sung?!” Zack remembers Sung’s nickname is Coral.
“No, it’s a big mouse! Her name is Coral!”
Zack then seems to understand something and heads out, Zena and Charlie follow him. He came to jail where they put Wendy, she’s not there already “Where is that woman?!” He stars at one guard, questioning. “Your majesty, she was killed.” The guard says.
Zack chases out, to the place where they normally bury bodies. He sees his man who he orders to kill her that moment. “Hey, where is she?”
“Your majesty, it’s done, I left her body in the grass.”
Zack gets a chick wave through his spine. The crows are roaring and spiraling around under the dark sky, the scent of dead bodies run to Zack’s nose. She might be eaten by some animals, they usually do that during a couple of days. He and his men search for a long time, everywhere, they find nothing…
“Where is she?! Search carefully! You hear me?” Zack grabs his man’s collar and orders.
“So weird, I put her here before, look!” He points to a trace of blood on the ground, “She might be taken away by the wolves…”
“Go find her, even a bone from her!” Zack orders.
It seems like pointless to find Wendy here, too many bones lay on the grassland with big rocks. There are skulls sometimes lying around. However, he doesn’t stop, running and searching on his horse, “Where is Charlie?!” The words from Wengela that time comes to his ears, it doesn’t sound like she was the one who kidnapped Charlie. Why he is so stupid to wrong her?! What ruined his smart mind? Only a General brand? That is not Him! He is the one who loves his brother and his family always. And Wendy! He protects her even after she passed away…
He then sits on the grass, catching his breath after rush running, realizing he is wrong, about the whole things what happened. He knew it’s a trap from his father come to think of it, and he still jumps into it. Besides, the strangest thing is why Charlie calls her Wendy?! Does she have any connection with Wengela? Or perhaps, Zack sits up fast, jerking, she is Wendy! She might come back with a new body, cause she is not a normal woman!
“Ouch!” A bone cuts his foot through his shoe, he starts to bleed, his mind becomes clear at this point… The one who saved Charlie from the bad people, the one he ordered to kill and the one who’s loved by Sung. She is Wendy! He screams out from his guts in the dark valley.
On the other side in Sung’s palace, they all in a big mess. Wendy is gone! Where is she?
“Hey, Sen, where is Wendy?” Sung grabs her and asks. Sen shakes her head, no idea. “She asked me to send some people to look for Prince Charlie, I thought she’s at home today?! Shoot! She might go finding him herself…” Then they go to check Sunny, she doesn’t see her either. “Princess is not home the whole day. Your majesty.” Sung becomes anxiety, he runs to all those people who know Wendy at once! “Damn!!”
He comes to Cooper first, “Have you seen Wendy today?”
“No, she’s not here, what wrong?”
“She’s missing…”
“What?!” Cooper begins to worry about her either. “It’s fine, I will keep looking! If you have any idea where she might be, please let’s me know!” Sung runs out. He comes to Zhuge next, “Hey, did you see Wendy today?” Zhuge is checking his patients in the clinic, seeing Sung running in and his nervous expression, he notices something goes wrong. “What happened?”
“Wendy’s missing… I didn’t see her today.”
“Maybe your father called her in??” Zhuge says.
“Why he must make everything so complicated for us??”
“Well, how about you go there to check. We are just guessing though… I will check around the town!”
“Fine!” They separate and goes for Wendy. Sung does to Dan first, checking around,
“No, she is not here. The King only met your uncle that’s all.” Dan replies.
“What about the Mage?”
“No, only Prince Jun, he’s with the King the whole day already. They are still inside…”
There’s a moment, Zack into his mind, he shakes his head, it can’t be him, his all attention now is on his son.
