She hopes Sung could say the same thing to her, Wendy thinks. “Thanks a lot, I will be fine.” Due to her sickness, Princess Zena and Prince Zack stay just for a short time, then they leave. They all ask what has she done with it, she shakes her head. Even Zhuge doesn’t know how to treat her this time, after all these years of being a doctor! Naturally, the medicines should work on her well, like Panax Powder, which is for anti-inflammatory and hemostatic. However, It’s not working on her at all, even makes her worse! Only Wendy knows the reason, it’s all because of her soul is not combined with this body perfectly. Wendy’s body gets worse day after day, all the medicines are like against her body system. She pukes everything out no matter what she eats. “What should we do, my poor princess? Wendy takes a deep breathe and replies, “No need to ask, Daisy, just buy it.” Daisy nods, “Ok, I will be back soon.” She helps Wendy to tuck her sheet in, make sure she won’t feel cold. Then she orders Sue to takes care of her, and asks the kitchen to cook some porridge. She looks back at Wendy, smiling, then heads out.
The same night, she asks Daisy to pass a note to Sung, she knows Sung will come to her for sure if he sees her note! Then he does. He steps in and sees Wendy lying on her couch, she looks better with her heave makeup on. She put some heavy makeup to cover her pale face before Sung came. He would feel less sorrow perhaps.
“Your majesty, thanks for coming!” Wendy smiles and greets. Sung doesn’t smile back, he gives her a cold face all the time. “Well, you look fine.” He replies without emotion. Wendy moves her body lazily on the couch, “Of course, I’m fine. With doctor Zhuge’s medicine.”
“Zhuge used to say you were in a bad condition. But I think you are totally fine.” Sung replies with despised. His mean words make Wendy sad. She knows Sung wishes her dead, then he can revenge for Zoe. She feels her body and Yasmin’s body has separated apart, slowly, she doesn’t where she’s gonna be next time, hopefully her old family. To see her parents one more time. “Zhuge is overacting, I can walk normally after several days.” Wendy pretends.
Sung doesn’t care her words, replying, “That’s not my business.” Wendy doesn’t fight back, she stares at him quietly. For a few seconds, she says, “I think you must hate me so badly, right?” Sung sneers, “Hate you?! No, I have no heart for you now.” Wendy sighs, “That’s good. Then when I die, you won’t feel anything.” Sung sneers again, “When you die, I will feel absolutely released.” Sung’s words like burning knife, that burn into her heart. Maybe he doesn’t love me anymore, that’s good. Wendy thinks. However, the truth is Sung does love her, even she hurts him so badly.
“I want to talk with you privately, your majesty.” Wendy says. Sung shares a look and asks his people to leave. “Daisy, make some tea for the majesty!” Wendy orders. Daisy hands to Sung a cup of tea then walks out. “Did you kill Zoe?” Sung asks. On Wendy’s note, she wrote that, “she knew who killed Zoe.”
“How about you enjoy the tea and listen to me?” Wendy replies. Sung takes a sip of tea, threats her, “If you don’t tell me then, I will leave at once!”
Wendy tries to calm herself down, she can’t use too much energy for now. She must save for later. “I didn’t kill her…” She says with looking into his eyes. “You have said that many times before! Tell me, who killed her then?” Sung asks with impatience. His face seems as cold as stone tonight. She can’t figure it out what he’s thinking in his stupid mind. She can see disappointment, only.
Wendy takes a big breath, “I’m sorry, your majesty. I didn’t know who killed Zoe.” Sung gets anger immediately, “So you lied to me?!” Wendy smiles, “Exactly. If I didn’t say like that, you wouldn’t come, my majesty.” When Sung wants to stand up and walks away, he feels super dizzy in his head. “You, you drugged me?!” Wendy nods, she made this tea from the book. It’s quite strong. Sung can’t hold this strong tea, he faints on the table like a stone.
Wendy leans to the couch, she feels exhausted to hold in front of him all the time. She finds a scissor then cuts his pants open. She doesn’t have energy to pull him on the bed at this moment. And she doesn’t have much time. Sung will wake up at any time.
“I know it’s hard for you to trust me. But for saving you, I have no choice this time. Please forgive me, your majesty.” Wendy whispers to his ears. A drop of tear falls onto his face. Then she takes her golden needles out, she puts all her energy on them, she starts her acupuncture. Soon, she finishes the whole procedure and lies on his chest. She feels that she doesn’t have much time. The last moment she dies she would love to stay with him. After she left, Lacey will take care of him, at least she loves him.
She can’t compare with her, she came here for accident, so she can’t have his heart, it’s not fair for him. She thanks for that person who always saves her from death time after time, and let her survive longer in this country.
“Although you don’t treat me well, I still… love you.” Wendy gasps hard, “You call me Wendy, but I’m your real Woody. Maybe that’s our fate, Sung.” She says then kisses on his lips, with all her heart. Sung wakes up after a while, he feels something on his lips. It’s Wendy!! My god, she just drugged me and she kissed me!! How tricky of her!! Sung thinks and kicks her out!! Wendy flies out, hitting against the wall, her mouth is bleeding.
Sung can kick now, he feels shocked when he notices he can jump! Suddenly, he sees the needles on the ground he understands everything… Wendy laughs all of a sudden, she is too happy to see he’s recovered! Like a mother just gets her newborn!
