It’s getting hotter and hotter, the heat is burning on their skin so bad. Seeing Wendy slowing down, Sung decides to find a cave for a quick break. He finds a small cave soon, which can contain three people. “Hey, you stay here. I go to get some food back!” Sung says. He knows Wendy can cure her feet with her knowledge here. “No need to go, your majesty! We have food!” She calls him, then opens her treasure bag. She takes two sesame seed cakes from it like magic, and it’s still warm. Then she reaches in once again, and takes two cucurbit shape bottles with water. “I asked the guards before, they told me it’s not easy to find water here.” She throws one bottle of water to Sung.
“Hey! Are you still Yasmin?” Sung can’t help to ask her again. “How you think like that your majesty?” Wendy asks nervously. Sung glances at her, no responds; he grabs a cake and takes one bite. He just eats and stares at her. Sung realizes Wendy is quite useful this time. She brought the food and drink; helped him with the dog attacking. He wants to say something to thank her, while he doesn’t. He’s is too proud to say something like that as a royal highness. He finished the cake really fast, seems like he’s really starving. Wendy shares half of hers to him. “Your Majesty, here you go. I can’t finish it by myself.” Sung takes it without hesitation. He swallows it fast then drinks his water up. “Oh, how’s your feet?” Sung asks. Wendy takes her shoes and socks off, it’s all red and swollen. She takes a bottle of medical wine out, then pours a little on her palm. Making it warm and massages her ankle. But it seems her strength is not enough to do it well.
To her surprise, Sung grabs her wine, and helps her massaging. “I do this for you only because I want you to recover soon, then we can go back faster!” Wendy smiles, besides, it’s really getting better after his massage. “Thank you, your majesty!” Wendy gives him a warm smile. Sung looks aside and repeats again, “As I said, I don’t mean to help you! Now try to move your feet, if you feel okay then let’s move.” Wendy tries to move. Wow, it worked! She doesn’t feel that pain now. Now she understands how amazing of the Chinese medical! People used to against the Chinese medical and say it is fake, when western medicine emerges in the 21st century. That’s all nonsense! They just need to see some good Chinese doctors! Wendy thinks.
“Let’s go! Your majesty!” Wendy stands up. Sung doesn’t believe her at all. She can’t be recovered in such a short time. One more admires to her, comes to his mind, though he doesn’t express it out. Wendy seems happier, cause she feels she will win another chance to ask about Zoe. She’s so sure that she didn’t push her out, she is innocent! However, she will ask later when they back to the palace. She’s afraid Sung will ignore her one more time if she is in a hurry to know about Zoe’s case. Such a poor woman, Yasmin, she was born in a good royal family, then they put Zoe’s blame to her, until the day she died.
Meanwhile, in the palace, Lacey helps taking care of the baby. Hearing her sister and Sung going out together to search the medicine, she feels jealous. So she asked the Queen to let her take care of the baby. For her good-hearted, the Queen agreed, also she trusts Lacey more than others during this period. The next day, when all doctors come to check Prince Charlie by routine, they find him looking a bit yellow on his eyes and skin. Perhaps, he gets jaundice!
“Master, it’s weird, normally jaundice happens on the kid who is premature birth and born after three or for days. But Prince Charlie has turned to yellow already, do you think…” Another doctor, Shawn, he asks. “Indeed. You stay here and keep checking, doctor Shawn, you are good with small kids. The rest of us will go back to do more research about his disease.” The Judge replies with concern.
“Doctor, what happened? Is everything all right with my grandson?” Empress Ron comes forward to check cause she sees the doctors gossiping at the corner. “Your Empress,” The Judge explains, “Sorry to report, we just found Prince Charlie may get jaundice… We worry that perhaps the poison has run into his body and ruined his guts. However, things are not confirmed yet. We need to do more checking. Don’t you worry, the Prince is a lucky one. He will be fine!”
Ron’s mind gets blank, she just been through one tragedy from Zena, now she may need to suffer one more from her grandson! “How am I not supposed to worry then? He is the most precious grandson of this country! I don’t care what you gonna do, you must make him well!” Ron yells.
“Yes, my dear Empress, we will try our best to cure him!” The Judge takes a big bow with bending down. Lacey goes up to comfort her, “No worry, Empress Ron, Prince Charlie has survived from the biggest rough last time, I’m sure he will get better!” Ron nods and sighs, “My poor baby, you have suffered a lot since you are born. I really hope everything will be fine for you!”
Later that night, unfortunately, Princess Charlie gets a high fever and nauseating, his whole body shakes on the bed. He’s crying so loud and desperate. All milk he drank has puked out! Everyone is in a big panic in the palace. All doctors are walking around furiously in the room without any idea. They can’t give Charlie the strong medicine, only some slightly ones to clear his liver. But none of it works, he remains in a high fever! Everyone comes to help, especially Lacey. She never leaves Charlie away, just wants to show others how good and kind she is. The King and Queen order the doctors, that they must make Charlie recover today no matter what. The King even puts Doctor Shawn, Charlie’s main doctor, into jail, and execute him the next day! His madness scares the rest of doctors. They have checked all the books and have many conferences together, till midnight. They find nothing.
About Princess Zena, Zack stays with her all day and night. Of course, no one tells him what is happening right now on his son! Zena stops breathing sometimes, then she’s saved by other doctors with acupuncture. Cause Wendy told them to keep her with that way before she left. Charlie and his mother Zena, both of them are the lucky and unlucky ones. They have been saved from the hell one time at first, then the King of Hell catches them one more time to check around their books of life and death! All doctors are waiting for Wendy to return to rescue them!
On the Sirius mountain, Wendy and Sung doesn’t know anything about what happened in the palace. They just keep going to get that precious plant, Henna! It’s good for her to experience this life here, she understands more about how to save people. Both of them seem complicated. They decide to take a small rest in the middle of the way, which is the barrier between the snake area and foggy area. They find a rock to sit, Wendy takes a bottle of wine out, she opens it in front of Sung. “Aww… Why it smells stinky? What is it?” Sung complains. Wendy laughs and replies, “Your majesty, it’s not stinky. It calls the realgar wine, for expelling the snakes out. After you drink this, those snakes won’t dare to touch us. Cause the smells gonna run out from our sweats, and chasing them away.” Sung’s eyes are gleaming, looking at Wendy proudly, “You are really thoughtful.” Wendy laughs, “Of course! We are here to save people, we must protect ourselves well then we can go back safely for Princess Zena!” She takes a sip of it then hands the wine to Sung, “Here you go!” Sung cleans the edge, he doesn’t want to touch Wendy’s saliva. “My god, that man…” Wendy thinks then turns her head to the other side.
